Taking out unserviceable parts from trench/ wall such as union/ ball valve/ socket/ male and female adaptor/ elbow/ tee/ bend/ lead joints/ nuts, bolts/ small length of pipe etc. and replacing the defective parts including minor repairs to pipes connection/ loose connection/ necessary cleaning the repair pipes where provided and testing complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- i). 01 plumber with 01 helper will be reported to the complaint cell every day morning 09:00 hrs. ii). Every complaint noted by the contractor in their register and end of the every month same should be submitted to office and get the signature for Engineer-in-charge. iii). Spares of pipe fittings shall be measured and paid separately under Sl item No. 23 to 31. iv). The T&P/ man power/ solvent/ shellac/ Teflon tape/ excavation (not more than 01 Cum) will be provided by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for bailing out water from the open wells/ shallow wells having dia metre 40 feet and depth 40 feet located at well No. 1, 2 and 3 at Jubily park, Kannur by using diesel pump set of suitable capacity and remove the sludge deposited in the bottom of well by using suitable method as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and remove to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr away from the well. Cleaning the well bottom and steining with potable water with bleaching powder thoroughly, remove roots, small trees/ bushes on the inside wall of the well etc cleaning the iron grills over the well and ensure potability of water complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Any tools/ plants/ man power etc. required for the work will be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost and same is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

All deposits which are pumped out will be remove to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr away from the bore well and pump house area, and ensure potability of water after cleaning, including lowering the same i.e pump set, column pipe and cable, testing for proper working after refixing the pumping system of bore well complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Any tools/ plants/ man power etc. required for the work will be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost to the department.

Collecting the water sample in the sterilized container from the sump/ OH tank in presence of AGE and transport to National/ State govt. authorized laboratory such as PHE/ NTH or any Govt approved agencies and carrying out the physical/ chemical/ biological analysis and submitting the detailed report as per standard parameter in duplicate to AGE office complete all as specified and directed. Note:- i). Testing will be carried out with the intervals of 2 months, 3 months as directed. ii). All test report will be submitted to AGE Cannanore and first test will be completed within the two, three months from the date of acceptance of tender and second will be submitted within completion of CA.

M&L for cleaning of overhead service tank RCC/ PVC of capacity upto 1000 ltrs by draining out water and removing all internal dirt and scale/ mud by washing. Cleaning the internal surface of the service tank using wire brushes and or any other means to remove dirt and scale to make it free from all deposits. Washing the reservoir thoroughly and removing dirty water from the tank, then clean with fresh water again and writing date of the cleaning on external wall with white enamel paint with black back ground. Repair to internal surfaces by plastering and providing fillers in cracks to prevent seepage/ leakage of water complete all as specified and directed. Note for item No. 43 and 44:- i). The work of cleaning and disinfection will be carried out by expert in the field of the work. The work is to be carried out in such a way that water supply will not be disturbed. ii). Note:- (i) Platform for the panel with PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 with 40mm graded crushed stone, 15 cm thick in foundation, brick work in CM 1:6 with sub class 'B', old size bricks, rendering 15mm in CM 1:6 on exposed surfaces and 100mm thick PCC padding 1:3:6, type C-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate on top and grouting bolts etc for panel. The platform shall be such that it is of a height 45cm above the nearest road level. Rate for earth work, PCC, brick work, rendering deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (ii) All out going feeders shall be connected by cable through suitable size gland plate / glands.
