Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means in all type of strata comprising any of materials such as soil, sand, clay, gravels, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerate laterite rock, soft rock, disintegrated rock, all such other materials in full or parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiseling wedging blasting prohibited etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged foul conditions, etc. disposing of excavated soil/rock as directed by the engineer-in-charge with all leads and lift etc. as specified and directed etc. complete

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggrt. 20 mm nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing in: a)All works upto plinth level.

Laterite masonry in neatly dressed stones of size as specified in cement mortar 1: 4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) in foundation and basement.

Providing and laying filter of river pebbles 40mm size including transportation, loading, unloading etc. complete and laying vertically as a filter by the side of existing laterite wall as shown in the drawing and as directed by the engineer in charge.

Refilling the pipeline/foundation trenches plinth sides, foundation etc. with available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm depth consolidating each layer ramming and watering lead upto 50 M and all lifts and disposal of surplus earth as directed by Engineer in Charge.
