Repair to Compound Wall, Barbed Wire, Glass Coping, Fencing and other works at INS Valsura, Jamnagar

Taking down cement plaster of any description on PCC/stone surface/brick surfaces including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brickwork/PCC block or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar, including removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for in this Schedule and removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as directed.

Demolition of reinforced cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (reinforcement cut as required to faciliate demolition) including removal of entire debris as ordered outside MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of wrought iron or mild steel work of any description and from any position not otherwise provided for in this Schedule (BOQ), complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of fencing wire mesh of any type and any size complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, roof kerbs, mud stops and the like including weathering, slightly rounded, chamfered angle and throating as directed including use and waste of form work (straight or curved) all exposed surface of concrete finished fair complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for factory made pre cast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks, exceeding 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified & as directed.

All as per serial item No. 10 here-in-above, but except PCC block -do- Note : PCC block retrieved serviceable under serial item No. 2 here-in-before shall be reused under this item.

M&L for factory made pre cast cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) block masonry with solid blocks or slabs, 10 cm thick (with plain or interlocking joints as directed) and setting in cement mortar 1:4 in walls complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for precast cement concrete (1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) louvers and jallies, 35mm thick (measured solid), including all mouldings but excluding frame, set in CM 1:4, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete 1:1½:3, type A1, Nominal mix (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in foundations including rafts, footings, foundation beams, bases for columns, mass concrete and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete 1:1½:3, type A1, Nominal mix (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in columns, pillars, piers, posts, struts and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for reinforced cement concrete 1:1½:3, type A1, Nominal mix (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span and the like complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Reinforcement & formwork shall be measured and paid for separately.

Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar work, vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

Formwork to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions, square, rectangular or polygonal for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

Formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunching, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams, etc. for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for broken glass coping on top of walls in cement mortar 1:3 including dismantling & taking down existing glass coping including bedding mortar and removing the debris/ rubbish to outside MoD land and depositing where directed complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for 16 to 18 mm thick granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window cills, cooking platforms, wash basin counter and the like, set in cement mortar 1:4 including pointing in white cement 1:2 using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F mild steel work as in hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts, posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc., flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290), complete, all as specified & as directed.

S&F mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, framed signed boards, walk ways, railings, framework of water tanks and similar work including welding conforming to Fe.290 (Gde E-165), complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F mild steel screw bolts of 5-10 mm diameter of neck (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt not exceeding 5 cm long, complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F mild steel round bars 10mm dia and over as in tie bars fixed to fencing posts and other similar works, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips or welding of bar at spots as directed, conforming to Grade E-165 (Fe 290), with & including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium red oxide primer after preparation of surfaces, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally or hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia complete all as specified & as directed.

All as per serial item No. 26 here-in-before but 6 to 10 mm dia in stirrups, spacers and binders.

S&F rolled mild steel in framed work as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc. complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging, also fastening and fixing complete conforming to Fe 290 (Gde E-165) complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F hot dipped galvanised iron Concertina Coil fencing with punched tape concertina coil 610 mm diameter (unstretched) (supported on MS angle iron frame and barbed wire all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) having 51 Nos of loops/ rounds (circles), having coverage per coil 8 RM and weight 8.50 Kg ± 0.50 Kg of each coil with hessain cloth, manufactured using central core of high tensile GI spring steel core wire of 2.60 mm dia around which a tape of razor sharp blades of thickness 0.52 mm is machine crimped and fixing the same with Y-shaped MS angle with GI staple to retain horizontal, including necessary bolts, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) MS Angle Iron frame & Barbed wire shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) The concertina coil shall be tied to barbed wire with 1.2mm dia GI wire. (iii) The length of coil after stretching and fixing at place shall be measured for payment purpose.

S&F galvanized 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia, barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanized mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc including dismantling galvanized steel barbed wire of any description fixed to any type of fencing posts complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Each line of horizontal / vertical / diagonal wire to be measured for the purpose of payment.

Fixing only mild steel galvanized chain link fencing, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc. including provision of binding wire, complete all as specified & as directed. Note :- Supply only chain link fencing shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply only mild steel galvanized chain link fencing (Coating 120 to 140 GSM) not more than 4mm dia of mesh wire, 75mm x 75mm mesh size (or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge) including line wire complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick PCC 1:3:6, type C2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub-floors, sub-bases, floors and pavings, etc finished fair and even complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, finished the surface even & smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for rendering 20mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on stone masonry surfaces or surfaces other than fair faces of brick work of walls, finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Raking out joints/ pointing to random rubble or polygonal rubble uncoursed or brought up to courses etc. built in cement or cement lime mortar complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for raised pointing to random or polygonal rubble, uncoursed or brought upto courses in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall & applying two coats of cement base paint of approved shade/tint over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of wall including cornices etc (plastered or unplastered) of any description, rubbing, scrapping by hand held sander / long handle sander and washing and applying one coat of cement based paint of approved shade/tint by mechanical means complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by mechanical means (any number of layers) by hand held sander/ long handle sander, rubbing down, stopping of distempered & Jet pressure washing of surfaces of wall & applying two coats of cement base paint of approved shade/tint over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surface of walls and applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of shade as approved by Engineer-in-Charge (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of walls including cornices etc (plastered or unplastered) of any description, rubbing, scrapping by hand held sander / long handle sander and Jet pressure washing and applying one coat of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of shade as approved by Engineer-in-Charge (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm applied by mechanical means i.e Airless spray complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatment by mechanical means (any number of layers) by hand held sander/ long handle sander, rubbing down, stopping of distempered & Jet pressure washing and painted surface of wall and applying two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of shade as approved by Engineer-in-Charge (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surface of Kerb stones, decorative wall and the like and applying one coat of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of shade as approved by Engineer-in-Charge (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm as per manufacturer's instructions in alternate panels in different shade/tint complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Painting to Kerb stones, decorative wall, etc in alternate shade/tint as approved by Engineer-in-Charge shall be carried out.

M&L for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified & as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel and iron surfaces of any description over 10 cm in width or girth and applying one coat of 1st quality synthetic enamel paint of approved tint complete all as specified & as directed.
