Eligibility Criteria

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is the sole public bus transport service provider in Bengaluru, operating a fleet of over 6,800 buses and serving more than 45 lakh passengers daily. Beyond its core transport operations, BMTC holds several land parcels across Bengaluru that are presently either underutilized or surplus to immediate operational requirements

With a view to generate non-fare box revenue and optimize the utilization of its land assets, BMTC proposes to License out its land parcel at Mandur on a medium-to-long term license basis to suitable private parties for permitted uses, without compromising on BMTC operational requirements or alienating public land.

The primary objective of this RFP is to identify and select suitable bidder/bidders who shall take the identified BMTC land parcel at Mandur on License for permitted activities, on the following overarching terms.

Utilization shall be on a pure License basis for a defined period of 10 years, extendable by 2 further years on mutually agreed terms. If within 10years a need arises for utilization of land for any purpose of corporation or govt then the license granted will be withdrawn

No permanent structure of any kind shall be erected on the land

The land shall be returned to BMTC in its original condition at the end of the license period or upon earlier termination

The selection criterion shall be the Highest Quoted Monthly License Fee.
