Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by all means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock,soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/ wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, complete including setting out true to the required line, grades, width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in- Charge at site according to the M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus / unuseful material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transporation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and hauling /carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures. Recovery for useful stone of 80.80 cum at the rate Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred) per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractors running bill on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public / private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for structures in all kind of soil as per drawing and M.O.R.D.technical specification section 300 and 1600 including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal in all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, filling of unevenness and finishing the road to specified dimension as directed by the Enginer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage, rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion, bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost .The rate is including octroi, royality, GST, toll tax, Sale Tax or other taxes imposed by the government.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (one cement: four sand: eight graded crushed / broken stone aggregate 40 mm (forty milimetre) nominal size ) in Retaining walls, Breast walls, on ground or under water complete including, pumping or bailing out water ,dewatering including removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying concrete for all heights/depths including cost of form work and curing complete as per drawings and MORD technical specifications section 800, 900,1200 & 1600 and as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads , lifts and other incidentals and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge .The rate is including octroi, royality, GST, toll tax, Sale Tax or other taxes imposed by the government.

Back filling with granular material behind abutments, wing walls, return walls and retaning walls complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specification clause 1203and 1604 and as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads,lifts and other incidentals and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge .The rate is including octroi, royality, GST, toll tax, Sale Tax or other taxes imposed by the government.

Construction of embankment with approved materials obtained from borrow pits within all leads and lifts transporting to site spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet the requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 as per MORD technical specification clause 301, 1603.5 and as per direction of Engineer - in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads,lifts and other incidentals . The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the government.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry/plain or reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm (one hundred millimetre) dia P.V.C. pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V): 20(H) towards draining face complete as per drawing and M.O.R.D.technical specification clauses 709 & 1206.6 and as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge .The rate is including octroi, royality, GST, toll tax, Sale Tax or other taxes imposed by the government.

Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for cement/ reinforced concrete in substructure using reinforced concrete grade M-20 ( M twenty ) design mix with cement contents not less than 330 kg (three hundred thirty kilogram) per cubic metre with 20mm (twenty millimetre) nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 800,900 and 1200. Providing and laying cement concrete wearing coat M-30 (M-thirty) design mix with minimum cement contents not less than 430 kg (four hundred thirty killograms) per cubic metre in wearing coat as per drawing including cost of form work and reinforcement and curing complete as per MORD technical specifications section 800,900,1000 and 1400 as per direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated concrete for plain cement concrete (M- fifteen) nominal mix 1:2.5:5 (one cement is to two and half sand is to five graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre) nominal size) on ground or under water and curing complete for 14 (fourteen) days , in cradle bedding for hume pipe including pumping or bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) dewatering for all depths and any quantum of water including removal of slush which may arise at the time of laying concrete complete for all heights / depths including the cost of form work complete as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section800,900 and 1100 as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads ,lifts and other incidentals. Construction of RCC railing M-25 (twenty five millimetre) grade in cast - in - situ with 20mm (twenty millimetre) nominal size aggregate, true to the line and grade, tolerance of vertical post not to exceed 1 in 500, centre - to - centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000mm (two thausand millimetre) as per drawing and MORD technical specifications section 800, 900,1000 and 1200 to the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer - in- Charge. Providing and laying ( to level or slope) 900mm dia (nine hundred millimetre ) diametre reinforced cement concrete heavy duty non pressure pipes IS Class NP-3 for culverts on first class bedding of granular materials in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1 : 2 ( One cement : two sand) but excluding the cost of excavation, protection works, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications clause 1101 and as per direction of Engineer - in- Charge including carriage of materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads, lifts and other incidental.
