Notes:- 1. Work is involved in high security area and contracator is required to follow all security measures and checks insisted by station authorities while entering the staff and labourers to site in Ezhimala ( Station commandant house). 2. Contractor should take necessary precautions such as laying plastic sheets on floors and cover all windows/doors/movable furnitures/ wardrobes/electrical and sanitary fittings etc with plastic sheets to ensure that paint drops and splashes are not dropped on floors/furniture/joinery etc. in case paint splashes/drops are found contractor should clean all the paint marks wih paint remover, otherwise a recovery of Rs.10/Sqm shall be made for the area painted to the contractor. 3. The contactor should procure 100% of materials required for the contract within 15 days of getting sample/make approval and kept in store so that non availibility of materials is not faced at any stage of work in progress. 4. The contractors are required to visit the site and learn the entire scope of contract comprehensively before quoting the tender. 5. The contractor should complete all works as per scope of work within 60 days of commencement of work. 6. The Cat No as mentioned in BOQ items should be strictly followed during the procurement, any changes in Cat No will be accepted only after submitting non availability certificate directly from the manufacturer subject to price adjustment. 7. The contractor should follow all standard safety equipments such as safety belts, helmets, goggles for labours during the progress of work. 8. The contractor should employ qualified engineer and supervisor during the progress of work. 9. All the specialist nature of works in the scope of work such as wooden flooring, modular kitchen, post constructional anti termite treatment, shower cubicles etc (BOQ item No. 11,12, 51 to 66) should be executed through approved specialist agencies only, the contractor should take approval of specialist agency from GE before commencement of work and should submit necessary certificate of agency. 10. All the painting works should be executed through authorised applicator of Asian Paints/Berger Paints or equivalent and certificate of authorised applicator shall be submitted by contractor, panting shall be done with mechanical means only. 11. After completion of work, no stores/debris/loose items be kept at work site or dumped inside INA. Entire area to be cleared and waste material be taken outside INA upto a distance of 5Km.
