COMPREHENSIVE MAINT FOR EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY PIPE LINES, PUMP AND VALVES AT NAD TS(K) AREA UNDER AGE B/R ALWAYE

Attending any type of leakage/shortage/overflow in water supply distribution lines laid at various locations inside Naval Base area for detection of nature of defect including carry out minor repairs to make the distribution line functional complete all as specified and directed Notes :- (a) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the elements of labour only for arresting the leakage and making the supply line functional for minor repair such as releasing air locks, clearing float valve blockages and checking any closed valves along with the supply, putting an end cap, etc. If replacements of pipe/items is required to make the supply line functional, the cost of labour and material for the same shall be measured and paid as "Supply & fix / Material & labour in repairs" under relevant items of this schedule here in after. (b) If leakage/shortage shall not be attended & rectified in the same day as received by the contractor except major break down, the recovery will be made @ Rs 500/- per breakdown per day and after 15 days of non functional of any distribution line, as specified for any reason, the recovery will be made @ 2000/- per day till the distribution line functional

Cutting existing road/hardstand/concrete blocks/slabs/brick work or stone masonry of any type by using crow bar chisel up to a depth of 30 cm for laying GI pipe including making good the surface by returning filling watering ramming in layers cold mix bitumen over 200 mm thick hard core of broken bricks/stones over returning filling watering ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, laying of pipes, cables, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed

Supplying, laying,testing, jointing ductile iron pipe flanged 150mm bore spigot class K-9 as per IS-8329 with inside cement lined complete with nut, bolts, packing etc including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed

All as per Serl No 06 here-in-before but for 100 mm dia bore complete all as specified and directed

Supplying and laying in repair of CPVC Schedule 40 pipes & plain CPVC Schedule 80 fittings laid in trenches fixed to walls/floors and jointed with CPVC primer & solvent cement for 100 mm inner dia including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 08 here-in-before but for inner dia 80 mm complete all as specified and directed

Supplying and laying of CPVC pipes SDR 13.5 & Plain CPVC SDR 11 fittings in trenches/wall/floors complete all as specified for 50 mm outer dia bore including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.
