Repair to drain, retaining wall, security wall fencing and grills and other work at YOL CANTT under AGE B/R-I of GE (KH) YOL

PART-I:- Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry built in cement mortar including all quoins arches, pillars including removal of debris to a distance exc 1.5 km but n.exc 2 km, all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving, not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level), un-reinforced, including removal of debris to a distance exc 1.5 km but n.exc 2 km, all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground, posts embedded in concrete all as specified.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out in any type of soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25cm, including Removal of surplus soil to be distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed, complete all as specified.

Plain cement concrete M-7.5, nominal mix, D-2, using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, as in foundation, all as specified.

PCC M-15, nominal mix, B-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as, in lintels up to 1.5 metre clear span cuts, steps seismic and other similar bends, coping, bands plates for serving hold fasts etc. and the like including weathering slighting rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified. Note:- (i) The unit rate include for use of form work (straight or curved). (ii) Reinforcement if any shall be measured and paid separately.

Fly ash brick work with old size bricks having crushing strength not less than 75 Kg/Sqcm, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), complete all as specified.

All as per Serial Item No 07 above but except bricks, all as specified. Note:- Servicable stone retrieved from Serial Item No 01 shall be reused.

Walling random rubble masonry with best quality locally available stone, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded, solidly hearted and built in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), all as specified. Note: Locally available slate stone shall not be used.

All as per Serial Item No 09 above but except stone, all as specified. Note:- Servicable stone retrieved from Serial Item No 01 shall be reused.

MS angle iron work in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, all as specified. Note:- Unite rate is also included locking holes after fixing of barbed wire and welding to bent portion.

Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc., fixed in repair complete all as specified. (Each line wire to be measured)

Restraining and resecuring existing barbed wire any description, including making good stapples and tying with mild steel binding wire (wherever required) etc complete all as specified.

Plain cement concrete M-10, nominal mix, type C-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in sub base/below tiles, 75mm thick, surface finished even and fair to receive top surface, all as specified.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand, all as specified.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone surfaces etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., all as specified.

Rendering cement plaster 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) on fair faces of brick wall or on concrete surfaces, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, all as specified.

Rendering cement plaster 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) on other than fair faces of brick wall or on stone masonry surfaces, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, all as specified.

Raised pointing, to random rubble masonry, uncoursed or brought upto courses in cement mortar (1:4), including raking out joints to existing or new surface, complete all as specified.

Applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer on new steel or steel based surfaces of any description, exceeding 10cm width or girth including preparation of surfaces, all as specified.

Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars, bore of pipe 450mm, all as specified.

TMT bars 5 to 10mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips as in stirrups, spacers and binders, all as specified.

Precast cement concrete M-10 (Nominal mix) type C-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) set in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) as in bond stones and the like all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Cost of form work shall be deemed to be included in unit rates quoted.

Plain cement concrete M-10 nominal mix, type C-1 using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in surface channel and drains (including necessary form work) including forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds etc. all as specified.

Precast cement M-15 nominal mix, type B-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in landings, cover slab (for manholes etc.), chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete with joints to match, complete all as specified.

Reinforced cement concrete, M-15 (Nominal mix), type B-1, (with 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as) in slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like, all as specified.

Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping)in rough finished surface of concrete complete all as specified.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise pprovided for, complete all as specified.

Mild steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc with ends of bars shouldered and/ or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed ballusters walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290. Gde-E-165, all as specified.

Broken glass coping on top of walls in cement mortar 1:3 including taking and removing rubbish.

Two coats of cement base paint on newly plastered surface of wall including preparation of surface complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning/desilting of the drains by removing foreign materials / silt/ greasy materials / earth from the drains, bed/bottom width of drain exc. 30 cm, removing the excavated material from site to a distance n exc. 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, as in weep holes of bore 110mm complete, including taking out old, all as specified.

Painting/marking line n.exc 10cm wide white or golden yellow etc. Complete all as specified and directed.

Plain cement concrete M-10, nominal mix, type C-1, using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate, 50mm thick as in plinth protection etc., surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement and laid to a slope of 1 in 24 in alternate panels n.exc. 1.20 Sqm each, 12mm wide and 5 cms deep joints shall be formed between the bays and shall be filled with mastic filling comprising a mixture of one part of heated blown bitumen VG-10 and two parts of heated coarse sand (by volume), all as specified. Note:- The unit rate include for use of form work (straight or curved).
