REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF CERTAIN ROADS AND ROAD FURNITURE AT NASA, CERA, MAIN ENTRANCE, SAILORS IN LIVING AND PERIPHERAL ROAD UNDER AGE B/R II AND REPAIR MAINT OF INTERNAL ROADS UNDER AGE B/R I (MAINT) AT INA EZHIMALA

M&L for Preparing black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc & applying evenly a priming / tack coat with rapid setting bitumen emulsion with mechanical sprayer at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sqm all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm thick consolidated thickness (using bitumen grade VG-30),with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using hot mix plant and mechanical paver finisher and rolling with 8 to 10 tonne power roller / with vibratory roller HD 99 VV or equilent roller complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge. NOTE :- (i) The actual binder content for SDAC used shall be as per optimised content based on job mix formula approved by the Accepting Officer irrespective of whatever indicated in BOQ. (ii) Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ Rs. 46900/- per MT (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. (iii) No Price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation in quantity on plus side.

Repairs to potholes exc.30mm depth and area not. exc. 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, using paving bitumen, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge. (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings).

Repair to potholes not.exc.30mm depth and area upto 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 kg of binder with 0.06 cu m of sand), again well rammed and rolled with vibratory roller HD 99 VV or equivalent roller complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge. (including supply of premix binder and sand) for independent potholes and repair to road cuttings etc

M & L for Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on road, pavement and the like n.exc. 10cm wide and 2.5mm thick using hot thermoplastic road marking paint for centre line and pedestrian crossing mixed reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gm / Sqm all as specified on finished road surface in moltan state using suitable mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

S&F in repair for ABS material roads studs of size 100 x 100 x 20mm model FS7, Make- Frontier or equivalent make of H2 Safety India Pvt Ltd / Sign and Media International / Alight Control System/Visiontech Safety Pvt Ltd / 3M / Texla Plastics and Metals Pvt Ltd complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

S&F in repairs for metal delinators made up of medium grade MS tube of 50 mm dia painted and provided with 3 layers of reflective tape each of 5 cm width and height of metal tube delinator will be 600 mm from GL and fixed properly as per manufacturer's instruction and as directed by Engineer-in Charge.

S&F in repairs solar cat eye / road studs made of Aluminium or polycarbonate of size not less than 90 mmx 90 mm or 90 mm dia complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge. . Make Frontier- FSS 520 or 3M -RS3M-RSS or equivalent

M&L for 75mm thick moorum filling as in berms including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming and rolling with 8 to 10 power road roller / with vibratory roller HD 99 VV or equilent roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer- in Charge.

S&F in repair vehicle viewing convex mirror 1.0 m dia fixed in existing mild steel pipe complete all as directed. NOTE: Make of vehicle viewing convex mirror shall be as directed and approved by GE.

S&F in repair vehicle viewing convex mirror 1.0 m dia fixed with and including mild steel pipe 80 mm dia, 4mm barrel thickness, 2.50m total height (1.90 m above GL and 0.60 m below GL) embedded with and including PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) of size 0.60x0.60x0.60 m with and including excavation and earth work in any type of strata and removal of soil to a distance as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: Make of vehicle viewing convex mirror shall be as directed and approved by GE.

Demolition of cement concrete in ground floor and pavings n.exc 15 cm thickness (below or above Ground level)

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B- 1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in road berms and finishing top surface even and rough complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone masonry built in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

M & L for laterite stone pitching of squared rubble, regular coursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete in road side berms etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer -in- Charge.
