EARTHWORK

Excavation in Trenches/foundation for septic tanks, pipes, sewers, storm water drains, footings etc in all soils except soft and hard rock at all depths from average ground level including dewatering if necessary, dressing bottom to required level, profile/slope, clearing of all the areas involving excavation of all grass,rank vegetation, shrubs,bushes,cutting of trees upto 300mm grith measured at 1.0 mtr above ground level disposing the soil within a distance of 50m, complete as directed.

Filling available excavated earth in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, levelling, lead up to 50 m.

Lead charges, including loading, unloading, stacking, the disposable Earth, rock, concrete, brick etc. by Mechanical transport for lead up to 2 KM. Note: Measurement of lead charges will be based on truck measurements with deduction of voids @20% and 50% for soils and rocks or debris respectively.

CONCRETE/BRICKWORK

CEMENT CONCRETE of following mix using Pazzolona Portland Cement conforming to IS 1489 (M/s. ACC, Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coramandal, M/s. Andhra Cement Ltd., KCP), crushed sand and graded stone aggregates of 20 mm maximum size at and at all depths below plinth level including consolidation, finishing, curing, etc., complete but excluding formwork as per specifications

1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Reinforced cement concrete of M-25 grade (Minimum Cementations Content not less than 340 Kg/Cum) by insitu mixing using Weigh Batcher or RMC of Ultra Tech, Birla, Ready Mix up to specified level using Portland Pozzolana Cement conforming to IS 1489 Part-1 (M/s. ACC, Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coromandal, Andhra Cements Ltd., KCP make) with crushed sand and graded stone aggregates of 20mm maximum size including mixing superplasticizer (M/s. Fosroc, Demach, Huntsman, Pedilite, Sunanda Chemicals, Agro Chemicals, MBT) in proportion as per manufacturer’s specifications, pumping/ lifting concrete to the required height, consolidation, finishing, curing, etc., complete as per specifications but excluding form work, centering and shuttering and steel reinforcement at all depths below and above floor level.

Providing centering and shuttering using steel shuttering plates vertical, horizontal, sloping including erecting, fixing, striking, removing and clearing for all cement concrete works as shown in drawings or as required including all chamfers, splays, keys, wedges, props, nails, bracings, brackets and applying one coat of shuttering oil on all shuttering surfaces in contact with concrete etc., as per Standard Practice complete as directed. in foundation plinth column flooring,machine foundation,piller,post,struts,sofits of beam,beam haunching,lintel,cantilever,girder, walls partition wall, sofits of cantilever suspended floors,landings, balconies,chajjas etc.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position reinforcement of HYSD bars/TMT bars 500D conforming to IS 1786 from approved source of make M/s Vizag steel/ SAIL/Jindal or any approved equivalent for reinforced cement concrete items at and at all depths and heights below and above existing floor level including transporting steel to site, removing of scales, straightening, cutting, bending, fixing and tying in position with two strands of 18 guage soft drawn annealed MS binding wire, providing cement mortar 1:1 cover blocks, etc. complete as specified and directed.

Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 150/230/300 mm thick or other required size AAC blocks of make M/s NCL, Aerocon, Greenstone in super structure below and above plinth level up to floor V level with approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar or in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), complete as directed.

Brick work as per IS 2212 using fly ash bricks conforming to IS 12894 of Class Designation 7.5 and above as specified at all height and depths with cement mortar 1:6 {1 cement (M/s. ACC, Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coromandal, M/s. Andhra Cement Ltd., KCP) : 6 crushed Sand} including raking out joints and simultaneously pointing the joints with the same mortar, curing, scaffolding etc., complete as specified and directed.

HALF BRICK masonry as per IS 2212 using fly ash bricks conforming to IS 12894 of class designation 7.5 or above as specified in partitions walls in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 crushed sand), including scaffolding, raking out joints, curing etc. complete and with Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) M15 (1:2:4) stiffeners of depth 75mm at every 900 mm height including form work, curing etc., complete as specified and directed, but excluding reinforcement. Note: Reinforcement will be measured and paid for separately under relevant item of schedule.-above plinth level up to 5th floor

FINISHING WORKS

Cement plastering 15 mm thick for internal walls in cement morar 1:4 {1 cement (M/s. ACC, Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coromandal, M/s. Andhra Cement Ltd., KCP) : 4 River Sand} fininshed smooth at all height above plinth level over brick walls or concrete surface including making necessary grooves in between junctions or brick masonary and RCC and also other places wherever required over brick walls or concrete surface preparation of surface, steel/tubular scaffolding curing etc., complete as specified and directed.

Cement plastering 20mm thick in Two (2) coats over exterior masonry and concrete surfaces at and at all heights/depths above/below plinth level with base coat in Cement Mortar 1:4 {1 cement (M/s. ACC, Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coromandal, M/s. Andhra Cement Ltd., KCP) : 4 River Sand} 12mm thick and finishing coat in Cement Mortar1:3 {1 cement (M/s. ACC, Ultra Tech, Raasi, Birla, Coromandal, M/s. Andhra Cement Ltd., KCP) : 3 River Sand} 8mm thick final rendering including addition of approved integrated waterproofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s Specifications for the base coat of make M/s. Fosroc/Demech/ Huntsman/ Pidilite/ SIKA Qualcrete / MBT/Sunanda Chemicals, making necessary grooves, bands, drip moulds, etc., as required, double steel/tubular scaffolding wherever necessary, curing, etc., complete as specified and directed.

Making good the damaged portion of walls with cement mortar mix (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) of thickness 20mm to 40mm at all height above plinth level over brick walls or concrete surface to restore the level of surface after removal of wall tiles/replacement of pipeline, including fixing of chicken mesh, hacking over surfaces wherever required, scaffolding curing etc., complete as specified and directed.

Applying 2 (Two) coats of ready made putty of average thickness 1 mm of Birla wall care/J.K. Wall putty over plastered wall surface including cleaning the surface with steel scrapper, wire brush, sand paper etc., filling in crevices, holes, cracks with approved filler etc., finishing the surface neat and smooth without any undulations as specified and directed at all height including required scaffolding.

Painting with 3 coats of Acrylic emulsion paint (including primer) of interior grade of tractor emulsion of Asian make or equivalent quality of /Berger/Nerolac makes of first quality and required shade over walls, ceilings etc., including scaffolding, preparing the surface smooth by sand papering, including necessary repairs to scratches, filling in crevices, holes and cracks etc., with approved filler etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Painting with 3 coats ( including a coat of cement primer of approved make) of antifungal Acrylic emulsion paint having 100% acrylic with silicon additives of Asian paints (Ultima) or equivalent quality paint from /Berger/Nerolac makes of first quality and required shade over walls, ceilings etc., including scaffolding, preparing the surface smooth by scrapping, sand papering, necessary repairs to scratches, filling in crevices, holes and cracks etc., with approved filler etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint in 3 ( three ) coats including a coat of appropriate primerof Asian/Berger/Nerolac make of 1st quality with required shade on walls, concrete surfaces, wooden/steel doors, windows, ventilators, composite units, louvers, rolling shutters, hand rail and balustrades, plastered surfaces etc., including scaffolding, preparing the existing surface smooth by sand papering, preparing the surface, brushing with wire brushes, scraping with steel scrapper etc., filling in crevices and cracks etc. with approved filler etc., complete as specified and directed.

Removing old paint by using scrubbing machine, preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

DISMANTLING

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as specified and directed

Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

Dismantling very carefully the existing Brick masonry in cement motor with plastering on both sides including wall tiles, old pipelines if any very carefully at depths/heights above/below plinth level by suitable methods including erection of suitable scaffolding, stacing of useful materials and disposing the unserviceable debris within the lead of 50m, etc., complete as specified and directed.

Dismantling existing wooden / M.S/PVC (or other material) doors, windows, ventilations etc., including shutters, frames, holdfasts etc very carefully without damaging the frame and shutter etc., disposing the unserviceable materials within a lead of 100m completed as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling the existing mosaic tiles / glazed tiles ceramic tiles shahabad stone etc., in flooring / dado including dismantling, bedding mortar and disposing the debris within 50 m lead as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling old plaster, raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead

Dismantling of old IWC/EWC and "S" or "P" trap at site including removal of cistern if required, complete with disposal of dismantled material i/c malba, all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in charge

Transportation of tree branches, trunks and roots, dismantled doors/windows, broken tiles, bathrrom fittings/fixture and other debris by engaging tractor trolley including cost of fuel, wages of driver and required manpower for loading, transporting up to a lead of 2.0 KM, unloading and stacking the cut trees and branches in the placed shown by Engineer-in-Charge complete as directed

PLUMBING

Providing, laying, jointing, fixing, testing and painting as per color code of NFC heavy quality (Class ‘C’) M. S. GALVANISED PIPES as per IS:1239 (TATA/Jindal or equivalent make) including heavy quality HB fittings like elbows, collars, tees, unions, couplings, reducers, enlargers, bends and all other fittings required for the completion except screwed flanges confirming to IS:1239 and also as per the code of practice of water supply in buildings IS:2065 including removing of exisitng G.I. pipes and fixtures if any, laying under the floors, making holes/chasing in walls, roof slabs and making good the same to the original condition including cost of all jointing material like hemp yarn, white or red lead/Teflon tape, clamps, wooden gutties, screws, cement and painting with two coats of anticorrosive bitumastic paint for embedded portion and two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chromate/red oxide primer etc., complete including pressure testing the pipes with clean water as per specifications and connecting to existing supply lines or fittings and fixtures as the case may be.

Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes (SDR-11) conforming to IS 15778 of Ashirvad/Supreme or approved make, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, i/c fixing the pipe on exposed/recessed/underground surfaces to correct line, level, plumb using clamps as directed. This includes removing of existing pipes and fixtures if required, jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, teflon tape, cost of cutting chases wherever required and making good the same with cement concrete/mortar, cutting or making hole or chases in RCC or brick work structure such as wall, column, beam, slab, chajja, dado etc. for passing the pipe line and reinstating all the damage to its original condition including testing of joints at cerain locations complete as specified and directed

WATERPROOFING

Providing and mixing integral crystalline admixture of M/s Pidilite/Fosroc/Cika/BASF make for water proofing tretament to RCC structures at the time of transporting of concrete into the drum of RMC truck, as per manufacturer's specifications. The material shall meet the requirement as specified in ACI-212-3R-2010 i.e. by reducing the permeability of concrete by more than 90%, compared with control concrete as per DIN 1048. The crystalline admixture shall be capable of self-healing of cracks upto a width of 0.5mm. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specifications and the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing water proofing treatment with cold applied, Acrylic Elastomeric liquid membrane coating over one coat of crystallization coating system Pidilite / Fosroc / Cica in the following sequence: a) Cleaning the surfaces from dirt, dust and other contaminations b) Identifying the areas of leakage by approved means, c) Pressure grouting the area of leakage with cement slurry admixed with expansive grouting additive of M/s. Fosroc / Pidilite (Dr FIxit Pidicrete AM) or its approved equivalent at a minimum one grout point per 2 Sq.m slab area.or as per site conditions) (d) Exposing, cleaning and filling cracks observed if any in RCC slab with polymer modified mortar compound/ PU sealent.e) Pre wetting the surface of slab and application of one coat of crystallization coating of M/s Fosroc/Pdilite (Dr Fixit Polypus CP) or approved equivalent Applying two coats of Acrylic Elastomeric liquid membrane coating including prime coat of M/s Fosroc/Pdiite (Dr. fixit primeseal) or approved equivalent, two coats of Acrylic Elastomeric liquid membrane coating of M/s Fosroc/Pdilite (Dr. FIxit Roofseal Ultra) or its approved equivalent all as per approved manufacturer’s specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

MISCELLANEOUS

Supply, fabrication and erection of structural steel work using standard steel rolled sections/standard plain plates/chequered plates coforming to IS 2062, of M/s tata, vizag steel, Jindal or SAIL or any other make using ingots of above firms at and at all depths and heights below and above plinth level for providing supports to platforms in bathrooms/Kitchen or other steel work including trasporting, cutting, welding/bolting using necessary bolts/anchor fastners for columns, foundation bolts, including painting with one coat of approved zinc chromate/red oxide primer and two coats of Synthetic Enamel paint (Asian paint, Berger, Johnson and Nickelson, Pedilitie, Nerolac) of approved shade for all exposed surfaces, complete as specified and directed.

Supplying and filling in spetic tanks., with approved coarse aggregate of size 6mm to 20mm in layers not exceeding 200 mm, consolidating leveling each layers complete as directed.

Supplying and fixing C. I gratings with frame and other fixtures as per IS:1729 including embedding in cement concrete and CM 1:4 if required and applying two coats of approved anticorrosive bitumastic paint etc., complete all as directed.

Providing and fixing Heavy duty (HD-20) C.I.cover with frame of double seal pattern of required size and shape conforming to IS 1726, painting with two coats of bitumastic paint, placing over the RCC slab etc. complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge
