Excavation in foundation, trenches etcetera in earth work involving all classification of soil such as pick work, pick jumper work, blasting work, soft or hard rocks including chiseling/wedging out of rocks where blasting work is prohibited or any other mixed variety of intermediate soil, dewatering and removal of slush if arrisen during course of construction and lifts upto all heights including stacking the excavated soil not more than three meters clear from the edge of the excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm (fifteen centimeters) thick layers when required into plinths, sides of foundation etcetera consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavation earth within all leads,lifts by any mode of transportation and other incidental, as per the direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge. Any loss to the private and public property during course of construction shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor.
