The job also includes providing lowering, laying, erecting, hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly for inlet, outlet, overflow and scour pipeproper manifiold at outlet including all fittings, bye pass arrangement consisting of GI / MS pipes special and valves of required classes and dia and all other accessories required such as SS ladders inside and MS ladder outside ventilator with mosquito proof wire mesh,lightening arrester complete ,SFRC manhole covers including frames and covers (medium duty) with proper locking arrangement water level indicator, RCC frames for all valves ventilating shafts shall also be provided including all leads and lifts as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. The tanks shall be hydraulically tested for water tightness all works shall be conforming to relevant IS code. The cost of valves & other accessories shall be included in the rates of tanks . Battery Limit shall be considered as 3.00 m from the edge of the structure or the boundary of the land whichever is less.The rates quoted by the contractor shall be for the complete work. All ancilliary works and accessories required to make the system fully functional shall be included in the cost of work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.The work shall include supplying of three sets of structural design after testing the bearing capcity of soil and drawings, etc complete as directed by engineer in charge as per relevent data sheet and scope of work. Providing, laying, fixing, jointing and testing in trenches of MSERW pipe (Zinc coated) circumferential butt welded pipes including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO:3183-2007 with steel grade L-210 or grade A of latest edition or having wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube.The M.S. Flanges are to be provided 6% of total joints and remaining 94% joints with butt welded joints as detailed below. The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees, etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per IS:4736 -1986 (with up to date amendments). The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The tolerance in thickness and mass/weight of pipe will be accepted as per relevant BIS code. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing ,DP test of butt welded joint complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing M.S. Flanges i/c nuts& Bolts ,Welding of flanges,gasket will be measured and paid for seperately. (Refer Vol-II-Technical specifications & Vol-III, Data Sheet No. 3)
i) MSERW pipe 200mm dia (L-210) grade- A with wall thickness of 4.80 mm, (FT-17) = 5740 Rmt
ii) MSERW pipe 250mm dia (L-210) grade- A with wall thickness of 4.80 mm, (FT-17) = 753 Rmt
Providing MS flanges (in pairs) for the joints of GMSERW pipes mentioned as below and same shall conform to BIS 6392-1971 ( latest with up to date amendments) including the cost of nuts and bolts of required sizes, 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets conforming to relevant BIS standards and it shall also include carriage of materials within all leads and lifts complete in all respect to the best satisfaction and direction of Engineer in charge. (The cost of laying, jointing and welding shall be paid in laying of pipe work for flanged joint).

Providing , laying, jointing with circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding (welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) GI flanged pipes. Conforming to IS 1239-1990 (Part-II), having wall thickness as specified below capable of withstanding required test pressure, including manufacturing and febrication of reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes. (Earth work in trenches and the cost of providing flanges i/c nut & bolts, Welding of flanges, gasket will be measured and paid for separately) and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of tees i.e. lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and and hydraulic testing at manufacturer premises as per relavent code & specifications complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing, D.P. test of butt welded joints complete in all respect and to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts.
