SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 metre wide & n exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits manholes, pier holes etc n. exc 10 Sqm on plan n exc 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc.25cm thick each layer of soil all as specified.

Removing excavated material exc. 250m but not exc. 500m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed stone ware, AC or RCC pipes) 100mm dia and removal of demolished materials from the site as directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed stone ware, AC or RCC pipes) 150mm dia and removal of demolished materials from the site as directed.

Concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested, in plain cement concrete M-7.5, nominal mix, type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, for bore of pipe 100mm. (For width and depth of PCC bed - refer preamble (a) (i) (ii) on page 391 of SSR Pt-II).

Concrete bed to drain pipes , including forming cradles; after they are laid and tested, in plain cement concrete M-7.5, nominal mix, type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate, for bore of pipe 150mm. (For width and depth of PCC bed - refer preamble (a) (i) (ii) on page 391 of SSR Pt-II).

PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors of bore 110mm complete, all as specified.

Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP2, laid and jointed complete with collars, bore of pipe 150mm, all as specified.

Demolition of stones or brick masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches etc., but excluding ashlar facing, dressed stone work etc.complete,all as specified.

Walling random rubble masonry with best quality locally available stone, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded, solidly hearted and built in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), all as specified. Note:- Locally available slate stone not shall be used.

All as per item No. 11. above but except stone.

Brick work with old size bricks having crushing strength not less than 75 Kg/Sqcm, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand), complete all as specified.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone surfaces and tiles with bedding etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc. complete all as specified.

Rendering cement plaster 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) on fair faces of brick wall or concrete surfaces, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement with WPC , all as specified. Note :- water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately

Rendering plaster 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4(1 cement :4 coarse sand) on other than fair faces of brick wall or stone wall surfaces, surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, all as specified.

PCC M-15, nominal mix, B-1 using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as, in lintels up to 1.5 metre clear span cuts, steps seismic and other similar bends, coping, bands plates for serving hold fasts etc. and the like including weathering slighting rounded or chamfered angles and throating complete all as specified. Note:- (i) The unit rate include for use of form work (straight or curved). (ii) Reinforcement if any shall be measured and paid separately.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) in ground floors and paving, not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level), un-reinforced, complete all as specified.

Precast cement M-25 Design mix, type A-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in landings, cover slab (for manholes etc.), chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including chamfers, weatherings, throating etc. and setting in cement mortar 1:4 complete with joints to match, complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) of Roofs, floors (other than ground floors), beams, staircases, landing, chajjas and similar suspended work complete all as specified.

Reinforced cement concrete (design mix) M-25 ( using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in Slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, manhole slab, deck slabs and in shelves and the like, complete all as specified.

TMT bars 8mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips , all as specified.

Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floorslabs, landings and similar work; not exceeding 200mm thick (Horizontal or sloping), etc. For roughly finished flat surfaces of concrete, all as specified.

Formwork to edges of concrete flats, treads, breaks in floors, window cills, concrete railings, openings in concrete walls, floor and roofs n exc 20 cm wide and sides of RCC/ PCC bands in walls, horizontal or sloping and similar work exc 10cm but not exc 20cm wide for roughly finished flat surfaces of concrete, all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving, not exceeding 15cm thickness (below or above ground level), un-reinforced, complete all as specified.

Plain cement concrete M-10 , nominal mix, type C-2, using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in sub base, 100 mm thick, as in manhole chambers surface, all as specified.

Plain cement concrete M-7.5, nominal mix, D-2, using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete, as in sub base layer under floors, sunken floor, all as specified.

Salt-glazed stoneware gully traps, round mouthed, type 'P ', of size 150mmx 150mm, complete all as specified.

Grating square 150 mm size of PTMT (Minimum weight 100gms), all as specified.

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, any dia, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round 3/4 channel) in cement concrete M-15 type B-1 smooth, finished and reforming benching as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning/clearing of area as directed by Eng-in-charge from inside and outside by removing the vegetation, cleaning and cutting wild vegetation, bushes to a distance of 50 metres away all as specified and directed.
