M&L , monthly Inspection, maintenance and serviceing of DG sets of the following capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (A check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance as directed as specified for the following DG sets :- (a) 750 KVA Capacity, Make: Kirlosker, Model:-KG1-750WS1- 01 Nos (b) 320 KVA Capacity, Make: Kirlosker(Jakson), Model:-KG320WS4 - 01 No (c) 312.5 KVA Capacity, Make: Jyoti Ltd,Model No:-NTA855-G2 - 01 No (d) 250 KVA Capacity, Make: Kirloskar,Model No:-NTA-855-G - 01 No (e) 250 KVA Capacity, Make: CG Machine No:-DEV-G1R250/43.12 - 01 No (f) 125 KVA Capacity, Make: Kirlosker, Model No:-KG125WS2 - 01 No (g) 40 KVA Capacity,Make- Kirlosker(Jakson), Model:-KG1-40AS - 01 No (h) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required . Note (i) Oil shall be measures and paid separately (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt. Note : Belt shall be measured and paid seperately (iii)Checking of air filter element (iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vi) Cleaning of air cleaner element (vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (ix) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (x) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring.

NOTE : (i) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required . Note : Oil shall be measures and paid separately (ii) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt if required. Note : Belt shall be measured and paid seperately (iii) Checking of oil bath air cleaner level (iv) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (v) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (vi) Cleaning of air cleaner element (vii) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (viii) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (ix) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (x) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring.

NOTE (CONTD) : (xi) Checking of all radiator rubber hose and replacement if required. (xii) Checking and recording oil pressure, water and oil temperarute (xiii) Checking anti vibration mounting and replacement if required. Note : Anti vibration pad shall be measured and paid separately (xiv) Checking throttle linkage (xv) Checking battery for cell test, electrolyte level, gravity and topping up to required level (xvi) Routine check / repair work of panel, switch, MCCB, main switch, all contactors, engine control unit. (xvii) Checking of AMF panel, all electrical connections etc. (xviii) Checking of earthing resistance (xix) Cleaning of vegitation around the DG set up to 1.5 mtr area. (xx) Contractor shall employ skilled labour (FGM) for the above repairs and one company engineer/ technician for over all repairs once in month.

M&L required for Inspection, maintenance and servicing of DG Sets of following Capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (B - Check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance complete all as directed and specified. Note: (i) B-Check once in six month OR 250 Hrs running of DG set whichever is earlier. (ii) Replaceing lubricant oil filter element with 'O' ring (iii) Replacing fuel filter element (iv) Replacing coolant (v) Replacing Governer oil (vi) Coolent, Lubricant oil shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items (vii) Contractor shall employ skilled labour (FGM) for the above repairs and one company engineer/technician for over all repairs (viii) Servicing and overhauling/calibration of injectors.

NOTE (CONTD) : (viii) Replacing water separator (ix) Cleaning of Radiator with chemicals (x) Replacement of by pass filter .(xi) Checking of all radiator rubber hose and replacement if required. Taking down existing earthing and M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth 4.0mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth wire protected by galvanized iron 15 mm bore light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of strata, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE :(i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-( ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth strip. Any variation in length beyond 7.50 m shall be measured separately.(iii) Item includes cost of earth wire up to 7.5 m Any variation in length beyond 7.50 m shall be measured separately.(iv) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.
