Construction of Dharli Serikothi road KM 0/00 to 5/000 in District Mandi (HP) Under PMGSY-IV Batch-I. Package No. HP-08-598.

Excavation in soil in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damages to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side .Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) .All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines ,grades, sides slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in conformity with the requirement of MoRD technical specification for Rural Road, Section. 300 & 1600 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites safe manner and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load and animal transport and mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, tools, equipment’s and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. During the mobilization period, contractor should take the advanced x-section in 15 m (fifteen metre) interval of whole road length in the presence of Engineer-in-charge or his representative. In case the advanced x-sec has been taken in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge representative, in that case the same has to be got approved from Engineer-in-Charge. The land for dumping sites shall be arranged by the contractors himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account, filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer in-charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones ,whether useful or 946.11 (Nine hundred Forty six point one one ) cubic metre at the rate of Rs 300/-only (Rupees three hundred only ) per cubic meter shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances .Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor ,which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drain and Parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and MORD technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides, bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layer not executing 150 mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering complete as per direction of Engineer in-Charge. Including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Loosening of the ground upto a level of 300 mm (three hundred millimetres) below the subgrade level, watered, graded with motor grader and compacted in layers to meet requirement of Tables 300. 1 and 300. 2 of MORD with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to one hundred) kN static roller for subgrade construction as per MORD Technical Specification section 300. as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with in all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading by mechanical means to required slope and compacted with three wheel 80-100 (eighty to one hundred) kN static roller to meet requirement of Table 300. 2 complete as per MORD technical Specification section 300 & 1600 and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing, laying and spreading cement treated crushed rock or combination as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 403 and Table 400.4 110mm (one hundred ten millimetre) compacted thickness in sub base course material on a prepared sub grade, adding the designed quantity of cement to the spread material, mixing in place with rotavator, grading with the motor grader and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of sub base/ base as per direction of Engineer -in- Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing, laying and spreading cement treated crushed rock or combination as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 403 and Table 400.4 100mm (one hundred ten millimetre) compacted thickness in base course material on a prepared sub grade, adding the designed quantity of cement to the spread material, mixing in place with rotavator, grading with the motor grader and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of sub base/ base as per direction of Engineer -in- Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying of a stress absorbing membrane (SAMI) Interlayer bitumen impregnated geotextile layer over a prepared cement treated base course after cleaning of road surface with a mechanical broom, geotextile confirming to physical requiremento of clause 703-3, laid over tack coat of VG-10 (ten) at the rate of 10.5 kg (ten point five kilogram) per 10 sqm (ten square metre) over thoroughly cleaned and repaired surface to provide a water resistance membrane and crack retarding layer paving fabric to be free of wrinkling and folding and to be laid before cooling of tack coat, brooming and rolling of surface with pneumatric roller to maximise paving fabric contact with pavement surface as per technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material with in all leads lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, or any other taxes imposed by the Government excluding GST.

Prime Coat Preparing and applying of water soluble organo silane Nano technology (for bitumen emulsion application, IRC accredited) with cationic bitumen emulsion CSSI and water <1000 (greater than one thousand) ppm TDS in the ratio of 1. 00 (One) kilogramme organo silane nanotechnology: 100 (One kilogramme) cationic bitumen emulsion CSS I. 00 (one):200 (two hundred) litre water Mixing & Spraying: Take 1. 00 (one) Kilogramme of organo silane nanotechnology and add in 200 (two hundred) litre water while filling water in tanker/drum and then add 100 (One hundred) cationic bitumen under circulation. Mix the solution completely. Spray the solution @1. 00 kg (one Kilogramme) per square metre on compacted surface. Rate including all materials labour hire charges of machinery etc. complete as per MoRD specifications clause 502 & direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of material with in all leads lifts and other incidental The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government excluding GST.

Tack Coat Preparing and applying of water soluble organo silane nanotechnology (for bitumen emulsion application IRC accredited with cationic bitumen CRSI and water<1000 (greater than one thousand)ppm TDS in ratio of 1. 00 (one) kilogramme organo silane:100 (one) killogramme cationic bitumen emulsion CRS I. 00: 200 One is to two hundred) litre water. Mixing & Spraying: Take 1. 40 (One point four zero) litre of organo silane nanotechnology and add in 200 (two hundred) litre water while filling water in tanker/ drum and then add 100. 00 (One hundred) litre cationic bitumen emulsion under circulation. Mix the solution completely. Spray the solution @ 0. 3-0. 4 (zero point three to zero point four) kilogramme per square metre on compacted base. Rate including all materials labour hire charges of machinery etcetera complete as per MoRD specifications clause 503 & direction of Engineer –in- Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental. The rate is including Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll Tax or any other Taxes imposed by the Government excluding GST.

Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded Mix Seal Surfacing surfacing material of 20 mm (twenty millimetre) thickness composed of 11.2 mm to 0.09 mm (eleven point two millimetre to zero point zero nine millimetre) (Type-A) @ 0.338 kg/per 10 sqm. (at the rate of zero point three three eight kilogram per ten square meter) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen @ (at the rate of) i e binders content @27.50 kg/10sqm (at the rate of twenty seven point five zero kilogram per ten square metre or 5.11% (five point one one percent) by weight and minimum density of MSS should be 2.10 gm/cc (two point one zero gram) to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 8-10kN (eight to ten kilonewton) static roller and finishing to required level and grades as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 500 including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in Charge.
