Labour only for attending urgent nature of electrical complaints (within 3 hrs from intimation) like checking of existing electrical items for continuous electric supply including carrying out minor repairs such as checking of voltage calibration, checking of variation of R Y B phase in LT panel/DBs ,changing of MCBs, small pieces of wires including connections etc carrying out repairs such as tightening of loosen electric connections, nuts, bolts, screws of switches, sockets, switch boards, making joints and covering with PVC tape, minor repairs to ceiling fans / exhaust fans like repair of capacitors, cleaning and oiling etc. as required to make the electrical items/ appliances fully functional at 'A' area at Naval Base during off hours (1700 hrs evening to 0900 Hrs morning ) on all working days all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE:- (i) The material and labour cost required for taking down existing fitting / fixture and fixing of new item shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. Additional labour charge required for immediate attendance of complaint only shall be quoted under this item. (ii)The technician employed by the contractor shall available on all working days. The quoted rate shall inclusive of all labour, transportation of material and tools. (iii) The contractor shall display contact number of technicians in 'E' area at Naval Base to register users complaint. (iv) A penal recovery of Rs. 400/hour/complaint shall be effected on contractor beyond 3 hrs. A register shall be maintained by contractor duly countersigned by Concerned JE & AGE with time of occurrence of defect and time of rectification and submitted for claiming payment.. (v) Number of complaints may vary day to day and shall be on required basis. Contractor shall quote their rates accordingly including all aspects like labours ,tool, transportation etc.
