Taking down HT Switchgear Vaccum Circuit breaker of capacity 12KV / 11KV 250/350 MVA for carrying out following Repairs, Overhauling, Servicing, Preventive Maintenance and refixing the same after carrying out rapairs / overhauling complete all as specified and as directed :

(a) Tripping off the breaker, lowering the breaker with raising/ lowering handle and pulling out the breaker complete from the panel along with the trolley for servicing/ inspection/ overhauling. (b) Servicing/ Inspecting /checking Automatic Safety Shutter operation for serviceability and replacement of spares if required. (c) Servicing/ Inspecting checking of circuit spout and circuit spout connections for RYB Phases and eplacement of spares if required.

(d) Dismantling and checking of Crossbar Assembly, fixed contacts and current carrying parts of the breaker, trolley, insulated assembly and checking lamination with clamps, apoxy spout, isolator assembly etc. (e) Setting, reassembling, cleaning, adjustment of fixed contacts, main contact, acring contacts and chamber baffle pot assembly, moving contact for proper setting of auxiliary contacts operating mechanism.

(f) Servicing/ Inspecting / checking of Secondary Socketd / Busbar Earthing Plugs/ Earthing Sockets and replacement of spares if required. (g) Checking, setting and adjustment of lowering and raising operation of the Breaker Trolley (h) Decarbonising of Busbar and connected items. (j) Lubrication and greasing of all moving parts of the trolley, stopper bolt for proper operating.

Note: (a) The servicing includes busbar duct chamber, cable allys and connecting accessories. [b] The rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for necessary T&P, nuts, bolts , washers, gasket, insulation tape, compound, painting of VCB Panles with approved colour including lettering etc all as per existing to put in to the VCBs and Panles in serviceable condition, testing and commissioning.

[c] Major spares like Breaker Bushings, Vacuum Interrupter Assembly, Busbar Spout, Busbar Spout Connections, Circuit Spout/ Circuit Spout Connectins/ Buffer Fixed Contacts, Moving Contacts, Tank Assembly/ Barriers, Solenoid Spares, Dependesnt / Spring Mechanism / Motor Mechanism, Trip Unit etc. will be measured and paid separately under relevent item. However the rate quoted shall be deemed to be include for any other minor spares requires replacements. [d] The servicing shall be carried out by Authorised Service Engineer of OEM. Neceesary service report duly signed by service engineer shall be submitted.

M & L for calibaration of realys of any type settings of 11 KV switch gear, VCBs/ RMUs etc as per the requirements of the power supply distribution, CT rating for smooth functioning and in connectin with incomming power supply APEPDCL settings, Testing of all the trip functions of the realys after final current settings by simulating fault current by CT secondary injection test set, rectificaton of defects in control wiring for proper tripping of CB during actual system fault conduction through relay & Tripping coil complete all as specified and directed. Note: The Contractor has to arrange necessary testing Kits, testing equipments, tools etc. Rental ratesfor the testing/calibration kits & connected equipments are deemed to be ,included in the quoted rate. Testing & tuning shall be carried out onsite with testing equipments in presence of Engr-in-Chagre by Qualified , Licenced personal and test results shall be signed by the contractor and Engineer -in-charge and kept on recording to the satisfaction of the Department.

Dismantling existing earthimng and providing new new maintenace free chemical earthing complete with 3.0 M long 40 mm dia GI medium grade advance chemical earhing pipe with (Strip in pipe technology) with 50 kg of back fill compound buried directly in ground (Rocky soil) with earth pit not less than 2.5 M deep below the normal ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 M below normal GL connected to existing copper strip as earth strip by means of SS bolts , nuts, check nuts and washers all as per IS 3043-1987 all as specified and indicated including testing on completion as directed. The earth resistance shall be measured using fall of potential method as per Para 37 of IS:3043 & combined resistance should be less than 1Ohms complete. NOTE:- The unit rate shall be deemed to include for Excavation & Earth work in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6 ) type C2 chamber, RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 cover 50 mm thick reinforced with 8mm dia CTD Bars@ 75 mm c/c both ways.MS handle 12mm dia and funnel.

M & L for shifting Transformer/RMU/VCB Switch gear units of any capacity from its position at any substation at Dolphin Hill under AGE EM-I by using cranes after disconnecting all the cables from HV/LV sides, securing the cable ends properly by insulating covering material, detaching all the earthing connections and transporting to any other sub-station as directed by Engineer-in-charge in the interest of restoring electric supply and re-instating the transformer including all the cable connection, earthing connection, after doing insulation resistance test and restoring the electric supply as before complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for supply, filling / charging and testing non-flamable SF6 gas in 12 KV RMUs and/or VCB switchgears of any make, as per deficiency upto required pressure, including cleaning dust & rust by blower/ cotton clothes, and checking for any existing gas leakage in the system and repairing the same including transportaion of the switchgear/RMU to OEMs factory after disconnecting all the incomming and out going cables from the machine and making suitable standby arrangements complete all as specified and directed. M&L for collecting necessary required data & peak load details from IED of any type/Make from 11 KV HT panel , Transformer full load details during peak hours, Relay setting Calculations & Co-Ordination Study, Unit protection setting of transformers, Feeder wise setting has to be furnished & Report with Firm Recommendations to be submitted. Down Stream Power distribution (Complete 11 KV system) oveall co-ordination of time need to be achieved and Adjustment / setting to plug and time multiplier settings of IED complete all as specified and as directed.
