Dismantling the earth chamber, Excavation and removing the u/s earthing materials along with u/s earth electrodes from the existing u/s earth pits pertains to lightning arrester of installations/ buildings and M &L for chemical Earthing Complete with copper earth plate electrode 90cm x 60cm x 5mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 5.0 M deep below normal ground level and complete size of pit 1.6 M X1.6 M X 5.0 M earth plate connected to copper strip of size 50 x 6 mm by brazing only earth strip protected with light grade GI Pipe 80mm dia bore from copper earth plate electrode and upto and including the earth test point made of gunmetal Phosporous bronze of size 75x75x25 mm including 25 mm bore water pipe medium grade GI Tubing including GI Funnel , wire mesh. alternate 5 layers of charcoal (250 Kg) & salt crystal (200Kg ) and top two inches layers with Magnesium Sulphate (100Kg) including excavation in any strata, refilling with black cotton soil above the Magnesium Sulphate and removal of the excavated soil and depositing at the place where directed, PCC Pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, RCC Cover 40 mm thick in RCC (1:2:4 ) type B 1 using 20 mm grade aggregate reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 7.5 mm c/c both ways including MS angle iron frame of 40 X40X 3 mm etc watering the earth pit to acheive earth resistance below 01 OHM including testing complete all as specified and as directed . Note: (i) copper earth strip of size 50x6mm and GI Pipe 80 mm bore light grade up to 7.5m length deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor. Beyond 7.5m copper strip of the size 50x6mm and GI Pipe 80mm bore light grade shall be measuerd and paid under the respective item of the schedule.

Dismantling the earth chamber, Excavation and removing the u/s earthing materials along with u/s earth electrodes from the existing u/s earth pits pertains to lightning arrester of installations/ buildings and M/L for providing earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level, Alternate layers of charcoal & common salt Crystal, in and including back filling compund in layers and filling up with black cotton soil upto the top edge/ ground level and connected to copper earth strip 20 x 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of copper and connecting to earth dolly, equipment all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I of 2009 & testing complete including 40mm dia light grade GI pipe upto 7.5m long, excavation in any type of strata, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 earthing chamber, pre cast slab 50 mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) weight not less than 4 Kg / Sqm with frame, including 20 mm bore water pipe medium grade GI Tubing including GI Funnel , wire mesh etc. complete all as specified and as directed . NOTE :- (i) copper earth strip of size 20x3mm and GI Pipe 40 mm bore light grade up to 7.5m length deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor. Beyond 7.5m copper strip of the size 20x3mm and GI Pipe 80mm bore light grade shall be measuerd and paid under the respective item of the schedule

Dismantling the earth chamber, Excavation and removing the u/s earthing materials along with u/s earth electrodes from the existing u/s earth pits pertains to lightning arrester of installations/ buildings and M &L for maintenance free earthing using corrosion resistant earth electrode copper cladded, copper coating thickness of 250 microns, 17.20 mm dia, high tensile low carbon COPPER BONDED RODS WITH 99.9% with 25KA current discharge test from CPRI of length 3.0m as per UL 467, with suitable compressive coupler planted at depth not less than 4.6m of bore 100mm belwo gorund level and duly covered with low resistant superior conductive powdered non corrosive, highly hydrous earth enhancing material all as directed including connecting upto common bus bar grid of size 25 x 3 mm to achieve optimum low earth resistance on inspection/ testing complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:-(a) The make shall be of manufactures as listed in particuler specification here-in-after.(b) The earthing shall comply to IS-3043 and the earth resistance shall be less than 1 ohm (c)The electrode shall carry UL marking and amanufacturer's name (d) The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following:- (i) Survey of earth resistance if required for testing of the earth shall be carried out along with departmental representative. (ii) The Grid point/ testing point shall be of 25 x 6mm copper bus bar of length 150mm mounted on porcelain insulators and enclosed in suitable enclosure of mild steel 2mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer. (iii) The carbon based earth enhancement compound shall have very minimum resistance value (less than 0.12 Ohm) to keep the earth resistance at the lower level. The compound shall be filled with highly conductive and eco friendly ground enhancing compound as per IEC 62561-7 shall not be less that 30KG per pit. (iv) Testing of earth shall be carried out alongwith the departmental representive and report shall be submitted.(v) The exothermic connection of 22x6x150mm bus bar to 35 Sqm single core copper cabole PVC insulated for interconnection of earthing to equipment. Quoted tate shall deemed to include the cost of copper cable 35 Sqm upto 7.5 Mtr with 15mm light grade GI protection pipe.(vi) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrouding area shall carried out in any type of soil. The bore hole shall be not less than 80mm dia and 4.60m deep from gropund level.(vii) Earth pit chamber shall be of HDPE and earth inspection cover made of high grade polypropylene of top dia 308mm, bottom dia not less than 308mm and height not less than 214mm with PVC cap.(viii) Earth termination clamps shall be provided to facilitate connection to equipments.

Dismantling the earth chamber, Excavation and removing the u/s earthing materials along with u/s earth electrodes from the existing u/s earth pits pertains to lightning arrester of installations/ buildings and M/L for providing earthing with GI earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to depth of not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to GI earth wire of 4mm by means of bolts, nuts, washers of GI and provision of earth lead, GI protection pipe with 15mm light grade galvanized and 20 mm bore water pipe medium grade GI Tubing including necessary earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type CI (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) earth chamber and 1:2:4 type B1 RCC cover fitted with 50mm thick with 6mm dia MS bars reinforcement complete all as shown in SSR Pt - 1 electrical plate No 3. including necessary testing complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Quoted rate deemed to include the cost or excavation and earth work PCC Chamber, funnel cover etc. (ii) GI earth wire of 4mmand GI Pipe 15 mm bore light grade up to 7.5m length deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.

Dismantling the earth chamber, Excavation and removing the u/s earthing materials along with u/s earth electrodes from the existing u/s earth pits pertains to lightning arrester of installations/ buildings and M/L for providing earthing with GI earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to depth of not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to GI earth strip of 32x6mm by means of bolts, nuts, washers of GI and provision of earth lead, GI protection pipe with 15mm light grade galvanized and 20 mm bore water pipe medium grade GI Tubing including necessary earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type CI (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) earth chamber and 1:2:4 type B1 RCC cover fitted with50mm thick with 6mm dia MS bars complete all as shown in SSR Pt - 1 electrical plate No 3. Note : (i) Quoted rate deemed to include the cost or excavation and earth work PCC Chamber, funnel cover etc. (ii) GI earth strip of size 32X6mm and GI Pipe 15 mm bore light grade up to 7.5m length deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.

Taking out the old / broken copper strip 20 x 3 mm from walls complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the old / broken copper strip 32 x 6 mm from walls com plete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the old/ broken aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm from roof/down conductors complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the old corroded GI tubing 80/40/20/15 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the old corroded test point terminal block complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing the copper strip of size 32 x 6 mm on walls / in GI tubing as grid conductor / strip complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing the copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm on walls / in GI tubing as grid conductor / strip complete all as specified and directed.

Refixing the aluminium strip of size 25 x 3.15 mm on walls / in GI tubing as grid conductor / strip complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying copper strip 32 x 6 mm on walls/ drawn in GI tubing omplete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying copper strip 20 x 3mm on walls / in trench as grid conductor / strip etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Aluminium strip 25 x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches / fixed on walls / on roof 80 mm dia GI pipe light grade with all fittings such as bends, sockets, reducers union etc, complete as mechanical protection to Copper strip including taking down corroded pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnection and removing the u/s Test block and S & F Test point terminal block made out of PVC Material (SMC ) of size 200x150x105 mm right side hinged in and including two nos of insulators fixed in side the box for terminating the copper strip of 50x6/32x6 mm with all fixing arrangements of nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting the existing road of width 0.25m x 0.25m depth x3.0m length for laying the 40 mm dia GI pipe light grade, complete as mechanical protection to Copper strip incluing excavation in any type of soil, refilling, removal and making good the road cut portion with PCC 1:2:4 type BI complete all as specified and directed. Note : GI pipe light grade with all fittings shall be measured and paid under the respective item.

Supply and laid in trenches / fixed on walls / on roof, 40 mm dia GI pipe light grade with all fittings such as bends, sockets, reducers union etc, complete as mechanical protection to Copper strip including taking down corroded pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S&F procelain insulators suitable for copper strip 50x6mm /32x6mm / 20x3 mm on roof /on wall etc. with necessary fixing arrangements complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches / fixed on walls / on roof, 15 mm dia GI pipe Medium grade with all fittings such as bends, sockets, reducers union etc, including taking down corroded pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying in trenches / fixed on walls / on roof, 20mm dia GI pipe Medium grade with all fittings such as bends, sockets, reducers union etc, including taking down corroded pipe complete.

Supply only Copper sulphate for strengthening of existing earthings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Magnesium sulphate for strengthening of existing earthings complete all as specified and directed.

Measuring of earth resistance value of lighting / Equipment / structure earth pits such as Chemical/ Conventional/ Normal/ Maintenance free earth pits as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : 1. Instruments, PVC cables and materials required to carry out the resisitance test to be arranged by the contractor. 2. Disconnection of earth conductor from the equipment, earth pit and test point and reconnecting the same after testing deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 3. Periodicity of checking shall not be more than one year as per IS. 4. The details of test report with location shall be recorded in MB during claiming payment, duly signed by Contractor and the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply only commercial / sea salt in layers for strengthening of existing earthings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Charcoal dust/Breeze in layers for strengthning of existing earthings complete all as specified and directed.

Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank of Capacity 750 Ltrs (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position including taking down existing tank compete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs stop valve 15 mm dia, cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe compete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs stop valve 20 mm dia, cast copper alloy, screwed down, high pressure, with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends for iron pipe compete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting existing steel tubing for alterations or additions [each cut measured] for 25mm bore pipe including necessary excavation & earth work complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs Ball brass valve of size 20mm, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for taking out /for laying under ground cables/pipes etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n-exc 25 cms in soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fill in layers not exceeding 15cm spread, levelled and rammed including watering in black cotton soil complete all as specified and as directed.

S& F in repairs 15mm dia bib taps, cast copper alloy with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

Brazing of the copper strips with necessary brazing material / gas cylinders / brazing rods and in situation like on walls, floors, roofs, bends etc for copper strip of 20 x 3 / 32 x 6 / 50 x 6mmcomplete all as specified and directed.

PVC insulated single core unsheathed multi stranded cable green in colour conforming to IS with flexibe bright annealed copper conductor of size 50 sqmm suitable for voltage grade upto 1100 V for earthing and including connecting of with suitable copper lugs, nuts, bolts & washer incluing taking down existing cable complete all as per specified and directed.

Air termination, single pointed aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long including fixing arrangement with porcelain saddles/insulators, fixing screws etc. and disconnection and removing the u/s Aluminium Air termination rod complete all as specified and as directed.
