UG OF Cable maintenance works

For excavation of trenches up to a depth of 165 cms and back filling after laying PLB pipe with or without protection includingTransportation of material. If the total length of trench is lessthan 25metre for a particular work, rate will be based on runningmeter irrespective of depth and If it exceeds 25m, the calculation will be based on the clause 9.1.4 in section V

Digging of pits for jointing chamber, supply of pre-cast RCC ring &slabs and fixing and filling ring with clean sand, placing of Pre-cast RCC Slabs on chamber and back filling of jointing pit.(RCC ring size-outer dia 115cm,height-40cm,thickness-5cm,RCC slab size-dia 120cm, thickness 5cm all other specifications as supplied by DE in charge of the work)

Splicing of UG cable fibers existing/ new joints for making straight/branch joints and end to end testing after splicing(BSNL will supply FTB/FDMS and jointing kits only).

Laying PLB pipe, Coils, coupled with PLB sockets and drawing 6 mm PP rope(BSNL will supply PLB pipe, PLB socket, PP Ropes and End Caps)

Opening of Manholes, pulling of OF cable, sealing of PLB pipes by rubber bushes in man holes, providing PLB/RCC split Pipes in manholes/Back filling of Manholes.(BSNL will supply OF Cable. Other materials required for the work shall be arranged by the Contractor)

Opening of Manholes pulling/ blowing of OF cable through PLB pipe w/o rope, sealing of PLB pipes by rubber bushes in man holes, providing PLB/ RCC split Pipes in manholes/Back filling of Manholes.

Opening of Manholes pulling OF cable through the existing Civil duct, sealing of PLB pipes by rubber bushes in man holes.

Opening of Manholes pulling 2nd OF cable through PLB pipe (simultaneous pulling) , sealing of PLB pipes by rubber bushes in man holes, providing PLB/ RCC split Pipes in manholes/Back filling of Manholes.

Opening of Manholes pulling OF cable through existing spare PLB pipe (no trenching charge will be paid) , sealing of PLB pipes by rubber bushes in man holes, providing PLB/ RCC split Pipes in manholes/Back filling of Manholes.

Opening of Manholes pushing of OF cable, through the existing PLB/HDPE pipe with OF cable ,sealing of HDPE/PLB pipes by rubber bushes in man holes, including all other works such as opening manholes, concreting at culverts wherever it is required( No separate trenching charges will be paid)

Digging pits for opening existing jointing chamber removing slab and sand , refilling with clean sand and placing of RCC slabs on RCC chamber and back filling of jointing pit

Laying and fixing of 65/50 mm GI Pipes/DWC in trenches with PLB pipes/coils inside and drawing PP rope(BSNL will supply GI pipe, PLB pipe and PP Ropes)

Laying and fixing of 65/50 mm GI Pipes, GI Troughs/DWC on Bridges and Culverts with PLB pipes coils inside and drawing PP rope(BSNL will supply DWC/ GI Trough/GI Pipe, Clamps, PLB pipe and PP Ropes)

Providing RCC Protection at site to PLB or GI Pipes, drawing of PP Rope

Supply and fixing RCC route indicator by digging of pit 1 meter towards jungle side on each manhole/joint chamber and concreting basement including painting and sign writing of route/joint indicators.(As per the specification supplied by DE in charge of the work)

Horizontal directional drilling of adequate inner diameter suitable for inserting one Length of pipe at normal depth of 1.65 mtrs. In any kind of soil manual labour / mechanical boring machine including injection of one length of PLB pipe of dia 40 mm. (BSNL will supply GI pipe, PLB pipe and PP Ropes)

Laying of PLB HDPE duct by HDD method at a depth of 1.65m or more (for each additional PLB) (BSNL will supply GI pipe, PLB pipe and PP Ropes)

Painting and sign writing of existing route indicator

Providing Labour for guarding/shifting OFC during road work

Fiber tapping From existing joint or coil and leading to an OH Post(Work includes,Opening of chamber/civil duct,splicing of required number of fibers,digging out one post,transportation and errection with 85 cm depth and closing of chamber)

Duct integrity test including localization of fault, fault clearance and replacing the old damaged pipe(excluding cable blowing)

Cost of recovery of empty drums

OFC leading works including cost of materials

Aerial OF cable construction and maintenance works

Supply and erection of aerial cable using accessories including standard 4F aerial OFC, loading & unloading charges (Aerial OFC and all accessories to be arranged by the contractor)

Erection of aerial cable 4F/ 6F aerial using accessories including loading & unloading charges (OF cable will be supplied by BSNL ,all other accessories like staywire etc.to be arranged by the contractor)

Erection of Aerial OF cable 24F using accessories such as tension pole assembly , suspension pole assembly and all other related accessories including standard 24F aerial OFC ,loading and unloading charges(OF cable and other related accessories will be supplied by BSNL)

Splicing of aerial fibers(2F/4F/6F) existing/new joints for making straight/branch joints and end to end testing after splicing (contractor has to supply joint kit and splitters)

Correcting sagged AOFC alignment

Digging out of post including loading and unloading charges

Fitting brackets & accessories to one KSEB post

Digging of pits 100cm depth and erecting one post

RCC concreting for one post base( m3)

Transporting charges for transporting the post &accessories

Installation of drop fibre from the splitter to customer in empty conduit

Dismantling of aerial cable from post
