| 27 | The bidder shall quote a ‘Service Charges” for providing goods and/or services, as applicable in the Tender. The Service Charges shall be quoted as a percentage of the total Statutory Monthly Emoluments and others payable to the total number of drivers deployed in the respective district/consignee.
Here ‘Statutory Monthly Emoluments’ shall mean amount payable as per Row 7 of Schedule of Payment under Annexure IV : Proforma of Monthly Bill to be submitted by the Bidder. No additional charges, taxes etc. will be paid. The minimum service charge in the procurement of manpower is 2% and should not exceed 10%, in any case.
[For example: If you quote the figure ‘5’, it means that you will charge 5% (five percent) of total Statutory Monthly Emoluments payable to the total number of drivers deployed in the respective district/consignee as service charges per month. In terms of GST Notification no. 12/2017-CT (Rate) dt. 28.06.2017, this proposed service is a pure service under GST, and therefore no GST shall be applicable as per said Notification.
