RequiredThe tenderer shall have insurance coverage to his personnel to meet against all risk including Electrical and Mechanical accidents while performing the work and operations at the KBJNL substations. The tenderer or his staff are not eligible for any compensation from KBJNL in this regard.

RequiredSatisfactorily completed at least 90PERCENT as prime contractor at-least one such similar work of Maintenance of the 110kv or above voltage class of worK value not less than Rs.15.88 lakhs 50PERCENT of of amount put to tender.

RequiredRequired turnover should be achieved in at least two financial years a Minimum financial turnover of Rs.31.75 Lakhs is Equal to amount put to tender and updated to the financial year in which the tenders are invited.Financial turnover of previous years shall be given a weight of 10percent per year to bring them to the price level of the financial year in which the tenders are invited.Turnover is considered from 2021-22 to 2025-26.

RequiredBID CAPACITY- The bidders who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total value. The available bid capacity is calculated as Assessed available Bid capacity- AxNx2.5 -B

Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Minimum financial turnover (civil engineering construction works) not less than two times the annual payments from this contract (Rs. xxxxx Lakhs)

Satisfactoriy completed (atleast 90%) as prime contractor at-least one such similar work of value not less than Rs. xxxxxxx (80% of estimated cost of tender)

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid Electrical License for executing building electrificatio works and should have executed similar electrical works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Tenderer or his identified Sub Contractor should possess valid license for executing water supply / sanitary engineering works and should have executed similar works totallng Rs. xxxxxx (not less than 50% of electrical works) n any one year

Total value of civl engineering works executed and payments received in the last five years (year-wise)

List of existing commitments and ongoing works

List of works for which tenders already submitted

Banker Details for reference

Construction equipment owned by the tenderer and equipment proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

Reports on the financial standing of the tenderer, such as profit and loss statements and auditor’s reports for the last five years

Qualification and experience of the key technical and management personnel in permanent employment with the tenderer and those that are proposed to be deployed on this contract, if awarded

Proposals for subcontracting components of works amounting to more than 20% of the contract price (for each, the qualifications and experience of the identified sub-contractor in the relevant fields should be attached)

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work before submitting their tenders

If any bidder fails to satisfy the conditions mentioned above, such bids shall be rejected

The contractor/authorized signatory should attach his/her scanned signature to the Schedule-B before uploading the documents.

If any of the dates mentioned above happen to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good.

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Any Modification/clarification will be published in the kpp portal. The bidders are advised to visit the portal regularly.

They should abide by the directions of Government towards recovery of 1% (or as modified by Govt. from time to time) Cess from the contractors bill under the provisions of building and other constructions worker welfare Cess Act 1996.

Successful bidders should execute the agreement within 15 days from the date of approval intimated. If the contractor fails to enter into the agreement within the said period, the EMD of the contractor shall be forfeited and action shall be initiated for barring to participate in the tender of KBJNL.

Contractor shall bear the service tax as per the reverse charge mechanism as per Government of India Notification No 30/2012 Service Tax Dated 20-6-2012 and any modifications/charges notified by the Government of India from time to time and on date of payment.

Agency should complete the work within the stipulated tender period, if fails action will be initiated as per tender conditions.

During the time of technical evaluation, if the employer finds that any Certification/ information furnished is false, such bidders will be disqualified and barred from participation in the bid.

Scope of work and other conditions are as mentioned in the tender documents.

Not with standing anything stated above, KBJNL reserves right to assess the bidder capability and capacity to perform the contract, if the circumstances warrant such assessment in the overall interest of KBJNL.

Royalty recovery will be made as per relevant Government orders

They should abide by the directions of Government towards service tax as applicable by reverse charge mechanism.

The agency should establish a well equipped field laboratory at his own cost to conduct day to day tests on various construction Components at site.

Reports on the financial standing of the tenderer, such as profit and loss statements and auditors reports for the last five years, The Financial Statement shall be certified by a practicing chartered accountant bearing UDI number generated on UDI portal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and the same shall be counter checked on the ICAI portal.

Joint Ventures are not acceptable.

If bidder found involved in Corrupt or Fraudulent practices will be blacklisted.

As per Govt order No: DPAR 06 PSR 2024 dated:20.05.2024 it should be implemented.
