SPECIAL REPAIRS TO ROADS IN VARIOUS UNITS AND HARDSTANDING AT CONVOY GROUND AT KARGIL UNDER GE KARGIL

M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth, n.exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water , scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat 5 Kg/10 Sqm putting in premixed in bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binders 9.80 Kg/10 Sqm binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3 mm size and again well ramming (including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exc 30 mm using paving bitumen complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing surfaces unsurfaced water macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Grade VG-10) using paving bitumen at 10 Kg/10 Sqm surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Grade VG-10) using paving bitumen at 5 Kg/10 Sqm surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L of new/old black top surface road surface and applying one coat of retro reflective thermoplastic road marking paint 2 mm thick for longer durability with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto160 degree Celsius; paint material shall be confirming to Ministry of surface transport (MOST) specification 803.4 VoI I as laid down in specification of road/bridge work third revision after cleaning surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of Stone sett paving of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc laid dry or laid dry and pointed complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
