REPAIR OF CHARPOY GI PIPE AND REPLACEMENT OF ITS UNSERVICEABLE PLY TOP AT BSO YARD UNDER GE DEHRADUN.

Repair/Refixing ply top charpoy GI pipe (FD-220) (a) Removing of old unservicable plywood top including supply and fixing new 12mm thick plywood of size 1980x900 mm BWR type (Nos of ply 7) ISI marked confirming to IS-303 (includinng tightening of whole charpoy frame before fixing of ply wood) fixed with12 Nos round headed bolts with nut & washer of size 5x75mm in the holes drilled at equal distance on rails (03 Nos on each long rail, 02 Nos on each short rail & 01 No on the center of each FI strip). The edge of plywood shall be smoothened alround & corner shall be rounded to a radius of 1cm iron carriage complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge & as shown on drawings.

Removing of old/unservicable long rail from charpoy GI Pipe including supply and fix of new long rail made out of GI Pipe 32mm dia medium grade duly threaded at both ends upto 45mm & all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge (Note : Unservicable long rails shall be converted into 01short rail & 02 leg measured under Sch item No.3 and 4.

Removing of old/unservicable short rails from charpoy GI Pipe and fixing only short rail made out of long rail retrieved from schedule No. 2 duly threaded at both end upto 45mm complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note: Unservicable short rails shall be converted into 01 leg and measured in Sch 4.

Removing of old/unservicable leg from charpoy GI Pipe and fixing only leg made out from old long rails/short rails, retrieved under item Sl No. 2 and 3 here in before duly threaded at one end upto 45mm complete all as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

Removing of Old/unservicable broken existing elbow of charpoy GI pipe including supply and fixing new elbow GI 03 way 32mm medium grade ISI marked complete all as specified & directed

Removing of Old/unservicable broken existing check nut of charpoy GI pipe and S&F new elbow check nut 32mm medium grade ISI marked complete all as specified & directed

Replacement of existing u/s flat iron MS strip of size 900mm×32mm×3mm and fixing 02 Nos of new MS strip of size 900mm x 40mm x 5mm at equal distance of long rails of Charpoy GI Pipe, duly painted with 01 coat of red oxide & 02 coats of black synthetic enamel paint as directed by the Engr-in-Charge/GE. (02 Nos in each Charpoy)
