Contract Details

Taking down copper/aluminum point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fitting etc. removing materials to store for keeping in safe custody or for taking credit (credit for above items should be made as per conditions separately) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors, etc as per existing.

Taking down carefully by disconnecting electrical connection, main switch/distribution boards/MCB DBs with MCBs of any rating and removing dismantled materials from site and making good disturbed surface of wall/ceiling to match with existing complete all as directed

M&L Point wiring complete with 1.5 sqmm single core multi stranded copper conductor cable PVC insulated unsheathed FRLS cable 1100 volts grade drawn through and including PVC casing & coping or conduit as required with accessories and including 1.5 sqmm PVC insulated copper cable FRLS as earth continuity conductor, fabricated steel terminal box made out of 1.3mm thick MS sheet concealed in walls, with 3mm thick Bakelite sheet ISI marked top cover with brass screws and cup washers for housing switches, socket outlets, fan regulators etc, all as specified and as directed for the following :-

(a) One light/fan point controlled by one one way switch.

(b) One socket out let point 5 Amps on same board

(c) One 3 pin 5 Amps socket outlet on independent board

(d) One bell/buzzer point 5 Amps on independent board

(e) One light point controlled by two way switch, with cables 1.5 sq. mm size

All as per item No 4 above but wiring with multi-stranded copper conductor cable FRLS 2.5 sqmm for 15 Amps socket point and including 2.5 Sqmm PVC insulated copper conductor cable as earth continuity conductor on independent board complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of sub main wiring with two run of 4 Sqmm single core, PVC insulated but unsheathed multi-stranded copper conductor, 1100 volts grade drawn through and including PVC conduit of 25mm dia concealed type with all accessories and 4 sqmm PVC insulated but unsheathed multi-stranded copper conductor cable as earth continuity wire including taking down old submain wiring complete all as specified and directed. Note: Two run of PVC cable with one run of PVC conduit and one run of PVC earth wire shall be measured and paid as one length only.

Note for item 3 to item 4 here in before : (i) It is not necessary to replace complete point wiring and any other items of any particular Bldg, it will be replaced only those point wiring or items which get burnt in the Bldg as and when required and directed. (ii) The quoted rates shall be deemed to be inclusive for cutting chases in brick walls/pillars etc. for concealing the conduits to required depth & making good the disturbed surface in cement mortar 1:4 including finishing the surface to match with the existing surface. The portion of point wiring at RCC Columns/Beams/Ceilings shall be in surface conduit of suitable size fixed on surface with using PVC rawl plugs.(iii) Fittings like switches, sockets, regulators, lamp holders, light fittings shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' (iv) The size of conduits shall be determined on permissible No. of runs of wires as specified in SSR Part-I (2009) clause 19.125 (B). However minimum size of conduit shall be 20mm dia (Medium grade (v) Make of cable : Plaza /Finolex /Havells/Shalabh/ Polycab /HPL /L&T as approved by AGE.(vi) Make of PVC conduit & fittings : AKG / Asian /Plaza/Jindal /Avon/Finolex/National /Kalinga as approved by AGE.)deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the tenderer for Sch ‘A’ item No.here in above.

S&F LED Suspended architectural LED luminaire provides soft-light and glare free symmetrical illumination (with continuous mounting end cap) complete with all accessories internally pre-wired and including connecting up with twin core twisted flexible copper conductor cable with suitable size and suspended from ceiling comple all as directed.

Checking and attending complaints of unserviceability of fans, geysers , no light and unserviceability of fittings/fixtures by means of repairing/ rectifying electric defects/faults related to electric eqpts/ devices/fittings & fixtures maintained by MES like tightening of screws, re-fixing of root out fitting and fixtures, re-connections, jointing of burnt wires, checking of serviceability of fans, geysers and fitting and fixtures etc complete all as directed. Note : The electrician deployed by contractor should have ITI qualified / 03 years experience certificate in concerned trade. Helper for electrician to be provided by contractor 2. Minor items such as PVC wire of any size as per requirement upto 1.0m length, thimble, tape etc. shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of this item 3. Major items to be replaced under this job shall be provided by contractors but measured and paid under respective items of sch 'A'. 4. The complaints shall be attended and defects shall be rectified within 8 Hrs commencing from date and time notified in complaints slip failing which a penalty @ Rs 200/- per complaint shall be levied imposed to the contractor and recovery shall be made from his dues. 5. Contractor shall arrange suitable T&P, scaffolding and safety measures to electrician. 6. Contractor or his rep will report daily at MES complaint cell and collect the complaints slip from concerned JE and also maintained a register for entry for daily complaints through complaint slip and obtained sig of user after rectification of complaint. Complaints register shall also be produced during claiming of RAR payment

Disconnecting and taking down the existing Geyser of any description and any capacity (25 / 50 Ltrs) and any position from the existing location and Dismantling the Geyser of any capacity and of any description material and labour for cleaning and de-scaling the inner tank and other parts / accessories including inlet, outlet , overflow Geyser element, thermostat , ‘U’ assembly etc. with brush, cleaning rod, and using de-scaling solution mixed with water in suitable proportion till the complete deposits /scale is removed as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, brazing for stopping leakage of copper inner tank/gas welding for inner steel tank, re- assembling the complete Geyser after cleaning, painting of geyser with white synthetic enameled paint and Fixing and installation of Geyser in position and testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Spare parts if any requires replacement shall be measured and paid for separately

Disconnecting ‘U’ assembly brass type of 25 Ltr cap any description and in any position from Geyser and supply and fixing new ‘U” assembly to match with the existing system complete all as specified and directed. Make – Record / Bajaj,/ Daspass

Disconnecting , taking down & removing carefully the existing ceiling fan, exhaust fans, wall bracket fans and air circulating fans etc. of any description, any sweep and from any position / locations (i.e. Md Accn/ OTM Accn / Md Hostel/ Workshop/ Installations/Tech buildings) for repairs, servicing , overhauling, painting and numbering with white synthetic enameled paint etc., dismantling & opening of the fans, checking serviceability of parts, overhauling by necessary cleaning, oiling & greasing and painting, fixing the serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective/ unserviceable parts, if any, with new parts, reassembling the fans, making necessary adjustment and proper alignment of blades, hanging / fixing the repaired fans in position, connecting to existing electric sources and testing at site to the entire satisfaction complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The rates for above items are deemed to include for painting of ceiling /Exhaust fans and transportation to & fro of fans to workshop if required for repairs. (ii) Burnt out windings replaced, shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) The replacement of defective / non functional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing charges for new items are deemed to be included under this item.

Taking out & removing old burnt-out windings of electric c/fans and ext fan of any description and rewinding of fan motor with appropriate size super enameled copper wire (Make : Atlas/Finolex/Devi Dayal) as apv. by the Engineer-in-charge including insulating material such as luminous paper, Letherized paper, cotton tape, glass sleeving, insulating varnish etc. testing at workshop and transportation to site, connecting and testing on full load to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge for the following Fans:-

(a) Rewinding of motor of ceiling fans 1200/1400 mm sweep

(b) Rewinding of motor of exhaust fans metal/PVC of 250/300/450 mm sweep.

(c) S&F ball bearing of size 6201,6202 or as suitable with existing fan

(d) S&F fan blade 1200mm sweep

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit with adequate quantity of charcoal and dust and common salt , not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level connected to & including galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia drawn through GI protection pipe of size ordered specified for protection of earthing lead from earth electrode to test point/main DB from mechanical injury or tempering by means of nuts and bolt check nuts and washers of galvanised iron sheet all as shown in electrical plate No 5 of SSR Part - I and connected to earthing test point complete including refilling earth and removal of surplus soil upto 50 mtrs PCC 1:3:6 type CI chamber precast RCC cover 40 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia MS bar 3 Nos both way with handle made out of 6 mm dia MS bar water pipe with wire mesh and connecting with earth point testing etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- On testing after completion of earthing if desired earth resistance is not achieved , the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to obtain the desired earth values less than 2 ohms.

Note : (i) The entire work shall run for 11 months from the date commencement as indicated in the tender documents/work order No 01. Completion before time shall not be entertained by the accepting officer. Site for the entire work shall be given to the Contractor in piecemeal manner and as per user requirement. The Contractor or his rep will report to the Engineer-in –Charge/JE Concerned on day to day basis to received the urgent nature of works and execute the same day to day basis. Non attending/reporting/execution of such nature of works in piecemeal manner a penalty of Rs. 200 per day shall be levied to the contractor. The rates quoted by the Contractor shall be included in the respective item of BOQ. No extra payment shall be admissible to the contractor on this account.
