REPAIRS AND DEHYDRATION OF TRANSFORMER OILS, MAINTENANCE OF TRANSFORMERS OF VARIOUS CAPACITY AND MAINT OF RMUS AT VARIOUS POCKETS OF DOLPHIN HILL AREA UNDER GE(U-I) VISAKHAPATNAM

M&L for disconnecting carefully electrical connection from both HT/ LT (primary & secondary) sides of the transformer, keeping them at safe side the transformer indoor/ outdoor type of capacity from 63 KVA to 1250 KVA , 11 KV/ 0.433 KV, step down any make for carrying out refaxing after completion of minor repairs like maintenance / replacement of HT/LT bush, metal rods, lugs, replacement of rusted unbolts etc. incl cheking the continuity of HT/LT windings , top cover opening, prevent the all oil leakages, provn of new insulated gaskets / cork sheet for HT/LT supply etc. complete all as specefied and directed. Note : Porcelain bushings, gun metal rods, cable end joint kit, transformer oil etc. to be measured and paid separatly under respective schedules.

M&L for lifting, transporting, handling of the transformer from work site to the workshop / factory inch necessary tools , plants and return back to work site / MES yard / MES store, lifting, handling safely to custody etc. after rectifing faults/rewinding /repair / maintenance etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for re-windings of HT distribution transformers of any capacity/ size/ type by strip opening of HT coils (i.e. Primary coils) from core assembly safely, unwinding the HT (i.e. Primary coils) complete, removing the old defective insulation paper, rewinding with new copper wire of same gauge and existing size together with new DPC insulation to the copper conductor, varnishing of the windings including heating/ drying/ backing complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance , Testing Commissioning the transformer and recording the test results etc. complete all as directed by Engr-in- charge.

M&L for re-windings of LT distribution transformers of any capacity/ size/ type by strip opening of LT coils (i.e. Secondary coils) from core assembly safely, unwinding the LT (i.e. Secondary coils) complete, removing the old defective insulation paper, rewinding with new copper wire of same gauge and existing size together with new DPC insulation to the copper conductor, varnishing of the windings including heating/ drying/ backing complete carefully and thoroughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtain required value of insulation resistance , Testing Commissioning the transformer and recording the test results etc. complete all as directed by Engr-in- charge.

M&L for re-insulating of LT strip of transformers of any capacity/ type by insulating with copper strip as per same gauge and existing size together with new insulated materials/ bracings before placing in to the transformer and assembling the coil with new insulation and fitting the coils in the chamber, testing and commissioning the transformer complete all as directed.

Filtration of transformer oil of transformers / FRMUs installed at various locations to achieve di-electric strength not less than 60 KV at 2.5mm gap as per relevant IS with portable filtration plant, testing of the oil for the di-electric strength before filtration and after filtration complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and topping up of transformer oil with di-electric strength not less than 60 KV in to the conservator tank/ body tank of the transformer/ OCB/ FRMUs etc. at various locations complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. [Make: Power oil/ Transol/ Savita Chemicals]

M&L for replacement of the LT porcelain bushings complete of following capacity distribution transformers of existing transformer make/ size/ type all as directed including dismantling old one.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of transformers with coarse cloth/ brush and painting throughout externally on exposed surfaces with two coats of smoke grey colour synthetic enamel paint including complete including one coat of white wash for base foundation all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge for the following capacity in-door/ out-door type transformer:-

(a) Up to 100 KVA

(b) 160KVA to 200 KVA

(c) 250 KVA to 315 KVA

M&L for replacement of Silica gel breather assembly complete with breather unit and silicagel including connecting with proper necessary gaskets if necessary, including removing the unserviceable breather assembly.

Dismantling of existing 11 kV CT's from Panel , Installation of supplied CT's & Commissioning by checking of current transformer by primary injection up to 50/100A complete all as directed.

Dismantling Existing earthing and providing new maintenance free Chemical earthing complete with 40mm x 3000mm Advance Chemical Earthing Pipe (Strip in Pipe Technology) with 50 Kgs of Back Fill Compound buried directly in ground (Rocky soil) with earth pit not less than 2.5 Mtr deep below the normal ground level with top edge of plate not less than1.5 Mtr above normal GL connected to existing GI/Cu strip by means of SS bolts,nuts,check nuts and washers all as per IS 3043-1987 inside supllied 500X500X250 mm HDPE earth pit cover (IEC 62561-5) all as specified or indicated including testing on completion and as directed. The earth resistance shall be measured using fall of potential method as per para 37 of IS:3043 & Combined resistance should be less than 1 Ohms. (Note:-The unit rate shall be deemed to include for Excavation & earth work in any type of soil and Placing 500X500X250 mm HDPE earth pit cover (IEC 62561-5)

Inspection, testing, servicing and overhauling of Factory made 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA for 3 Seconds, SF6 Insulated, Motorized, Outdoor RMU Consisting of 2 Nos VCB Incoming and any no Outgoing Feeders and testing on completion comprising the following all as directed by Eng-in- charge :-

(a) Preliminary inspection of 11 KV MV GIS , SF6 Switch gear for any defects. (b)Testing of CTs:- (i) IR test (ii) Ratio test (iii) Winding resistance test (c) Testing of PTs:- (i) IR test (ii) Ratio test (iii) Polarity test.

(d) Servicing on GIS Switch gear panels :- (i) Cleaning panel (ii) checking the condition of SF6 gas (iii) IR test (iv) HV test. (e) Servicing on VCBs :- (i) IR test (ii) Timing test. (iii) CRM test (iv) HV test (f) Over hauling of breakers for proper functionalling (g) Replacement of minor spares.

Notes: (i)The GIS Switchgear servicing includes (a) Cleaning of GIS for dust, oxidising and decarbonising with CTC. (b) Repair/servicing of spring loaded operating mechanism. (c) Repair/servicing of spring charging motor. (d) Checking, repairing & servicing of gearbox, auxiliary switches, spring, limit switch etc complete. (e) Checking & repairing electrical and mechanical operations (f) Lubrication all moving parts with petroleum jelly & cleaning all bushing insulators with CTC (g) Tightening of all mechanical connections of mechanism (h) Proper Tightening all LV connection of VCB and cable chamber & allied connecting accessories

(ii) The rate quoted shall be deemed to include for necessary T&P, nuts, bolts, washers, gasket, insulation tape, compound, painting of RMU panels with approved colour including lettering details all as per existing etc. (iii) Major spares will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A'. However the rate quoted shall be deemed to include for any other minor spares require replacement. (iv)Servicing shall be carried out through authorised service personal only and test report shall be submitted in duplicate. (v) Required new components will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Supply and fix including dismantling taking out unserviceable Circuit-breaker Trip Coil Kit 24 Vcc/Vdc from RMU of suitable make complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix including dismantling taking out unserviceable Circuit-breaker Closing Coil Kit 24 Vcc/Vdc from RMU of suitable make complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix including dismantling taking out unserviceable Isolator Switch Position Indication from RMU of suitable make complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix including dismantling taking out unserviceable VPIS Standard : 3.3 to 7.7 Kv from RMU of suitable make complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing of Plug in type Bushings 630Amp for Schneider RMU at Cable termination chamber Complete all as directed.

M&L for RMU Tank Cutting , Reassembling by technically expertise personals and SF6 Gas filling at site by using appropriate gas filling equipment Complete all as directed.

Supply, transportation of SF6 Gas cylinder of weight 11 kg for filling at site. SF6 Gas cylinders shall be supplied with an universal type of valve outlet for filling gas in circuit breakers and SF6 gas shall be free from impurities and toxic contents as per the relevant IS specifications. There should not be any contamination or introduction of impurities from defective manufacturing process, leakage in manufacturing plant or contaminations from containing cylinders Complete all as directed.

M&L for 2mm thick fibre reinforced plastic coating with epoxy paint coat of approved color on the surface of panel board, RMUs after cleaning the surfaces thoroughly complete all as directed & specified.
