Excavation work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means in foundation trenches or drains , including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto all depth, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soils as directed, within all lead .including de-watering and carriage of materials , within all leads and lifts as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge .Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of unserviceable materials shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by the contractor to full extent in all respects in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited\ layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution and disposal of unserviceable materials shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by the contractor to full extent in all respects in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
