| 1.01(a) Sufficient man power shall be detailed on all days including Sundays and holidays for the above mentioned job during the entire contract period. In case, additional man power is necessiated for completion of any job, the contractor shall provide required man power without any extra cost. The supervisor shall report to JE in charge of the work daily by 09 hrs and 14 00 hrs to receive the complaints and other details of works to be done. The workers and supervisor shall leave the primeses only on completion of the jobs assigned for the day / 17 30 hrs which ever is later and the supervisor shall return the job card daily to the JE and will give a brief of the works done before leaving. Notes :-The quoted rate of contractor shall include for :- (i) Contractor shall provide One Safaiwala daily for attending and completing the complaints received from users. The numbers of Safaiwala may be increased as directed by Engir-in-Charge depending upon the requirements/ number of complaints registered at the complaint center to rectify the same within a day. (ii) The complaints pertaining to sewage cleaning and opening of blockage etc. against serial item No 1.00 shall be attended and completed within 24 hours after lodging/ receipt of complaints. Contractor shall ensure that all the complaints shall be attended and completed within above prescribed schedule/ time period, failing which, a penalty at the rate of 250 RS per complaint would be imposed. | ||||||
| 1.02(iii) Necessary transportations, tools, plants, ladders, cleaning rods / Bamboos, etc. including to complete the jobs/complaints shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the department and cost thereof shall deemed to be included in quoted rates by the contractor . (iv) Protective clothing ie hand glooves, cleaning rods, masks, rope and safety tools/equipement shall be provided by the contractor. (v) The cointractor shall provide insurance of workers against accident/electric shock/gas poisoning/any mishap etc before engaging them on work and Engr-in-Charge shall verify the same befor engaging the workers on work and nothing is admisible to the contractor on this account. | ||||||

Cleaning and maintaining the sewage system for the entire Technical Area of Air Force Station Halwara and allied establishments which consists of IWCs, EWCs, WHB, sinks, bottle traps, Nahani traps, floor traps, soil/waste/vent pipes of various dia connected to sanitary fittings/traps and/or running on external walls of buildings of any height, in sunken floors, burried in trenches of any depth including junctions, Manholes of any description (any size/depth) and under ground sewage/sullage lines of any sizes/dia upto the final drop outlet into septic tank/soak well/Manhole of central sewage system, in running/flowing condition without disturbance or damages to existing system including removing all types of blockages in above mentioned sanitary fittings/traps/sewage lines/man holes in any position as and when occures and ensuring free flow of the sewage/sullage from the point of origin to the final disposal end and disposal of the sludge/waste materials removed from above mentioned sanitary fittings/traps/sewage lines outside defence land without causing any nuisence to Air Force community/civil public and in confirmity with the regulations of local authorities, without any extra cost to Govt, during the currency of the contract. Areas covered under the contract are Technical Area of Air Force, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. n exc 10 sq m on plan and getting out in soft loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.
All as per Sl item No 04 above but depth exceeding 1.50m but not exceeding 3.00m.
Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm. soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.
Removing of surplus soil to a distance exceeding 500m but not exceeding 1.5 Km and depositing where directed at a level not. exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.
Demolition and breaking up drain pipes of 150mm bore (Salt glazed ware, AC or Reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar including demolition, complete all as specified and directed.
S&F reinforced concrete pipe 150mm bore class NP3, laid in trenches and jointed with collars and tested, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for concrete bed to drain pipes of PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested for 150 mm bore RCC pipe line, complete all as specified and directed. Note: RCC pipe NP3 will be measured and paid for separately in relevant item.
S&F PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, step clamps, including all fittings (Any type of "T"/tee, bend, Y, Branch piece single/double, couplers, reducers, vent coil, access door, junction single/double, equal/unequal, any type of trap etc), 75mm dia, fixed to walls/floor/trenches etc and height of buildings upto 12 mtr, including taking down, complete all as specified and directed.
All as per item No.11 here in before but for 110mm dia pipes.
Demolition of reinforced cement concrete in any position not otherwise specially provided for, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length , bent to shape required including, cranking hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips, complete all as specified and directed.
All as per Sl item No 14.00 above but 6mm to 8mm dia as in stirrups.
M&L for Providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces including necessary formwork, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Reinforcement bars shall be measured and paid seperately.
Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars,etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for brickwork, with sub- class ‘B’ bricks in one brick thick honey comb work, built in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for 15 mm thick plastering on fair faces of concrete /brick surfaces in cement mortar 1:4 finished even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 80mm thick Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block (M-40 Grade) with grey cement and no pigments, any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 laid over sand cushioning, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Sand cushioning shall be measured and paid seperately.
M&L for Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with grey cement and pigment including 20mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantalling of asbestos cement (corrugated, semi-corrugated , GI sheets ,etc ), including ridge and eaves sheets in roof coverings, complete all as specified and directed.
S&F Pre- painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including carefully taking down and refixing in all respect any electrical fittings / fixtures / Lightening conductor / Strips etc fixed on the roof sheets if any damages occures during refixing the same would be born by the Contractor. The quoted rates deemed to be inclusive of this aspects, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Height of bldg up to 15 mtrs for this item.
S&F pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550mpa as in roof covering/clading to wall, fixed with self taping screws, complete all as specified and directed.
Removing of HDPE bag full of fine sand of size 84cm x 36 cm which is laying on top of firing butt of smalll range, complete all as specified and directed.
Labour only for screening of sand upto depth of 0.50m removing of all foreign materials, metals, pebbles etc and again spreading and levelling of sand to ture surfaces in gunner target area including removal of all rubbish away from target area, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for mixture of fine sand and saw dust in 1:1 ratio for filling at firing small arms range including spreading and levelling in required shape at any height upto 5m from natural ground level, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Filling of mixture shall be carried out on required basis as and when required.
M&L for fine sand in and includng HDPE bag of size 84cm X 36cm confirmming to IS-6192-1994 including laying on top of firing butt of small arms range or where as directed by Engr-in-Charge complete all as specified. Note :- (a) Item No 28 to 31 shall be completed in 21 days from the date of giving site order for comencemnet of the Job, failing which a penalty @ Rs.1000/-per day would be imposed. (b) The complete Job of item No 28 to 31 includes taking down old sand filled bag from top of the Range, screening and refilling of sand plus saw dust mixture and relaying of sand filled HDPE bags. (c) The Job consist of item No. 28 to 31 will be carried out as required at site and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at Short Firing Range.
S&F in repair Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed wih 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and stranining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc (each line wire to be measured), complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for restraining and securing including making good staples etc. Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed wih 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and stranining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc. (each line wire to be measured), complete all as specified and directed.
S&F in replacement 4mm dia plain mild steel wire, galvanised, class 3, in fencing including straining and fixing to wood, concrete or steel posts and/or to straining bolts, for hanging the IR net including securing with and provision of galvanised iron tying wire, galvanised iron staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line of wire to be measured), complete all as specified and directed.
All as per Sl item No 35 above but refixing using old wire including re-straining and rescuing and making good staples etc, complete all as specified and directed.
Excavating in post holes in soft/loose soil (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 Cum, getting out, returning,filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L hardcore of broken bricks to gauge n exc 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for cement concrete type C-2 1:3:6 (40 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in foundation, base filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in precast post ,fencing posts, straining or terminal post , struts etc for fencing, avg sectional area exc 100 sqcm but n exc 250 sqcm with or without chamfered angles and flat , splyed ,rounded or mitred tops as directed and fixed, complete all as specified and directed by engineer in charge Note : Reinforcement bars shall be measured and paid seperately.
M&L welding in repairs of exceeding 2.5 cm but not exceeding 5cm in length and the thickness of metal to be welded exc 6 mm but n exc 9 mm patch work of defected angle, Tee, channel, flat iron section as in existing arrangement on traverse of blast pens for holding IR net including fixing, tighting of GI wire and making it fully serviceable for operation, complete all as specified and directed.
Easing, adjusting, straighting of member and repairs / weldings, greesings etc to steel gates of area exceeding 3.00 Sqm but not exceeding 5.00 Sqm each leaf for noise less operation, complete all as specified and directed.
S&F providing precast cement concrete louvers and jallies 45mm thick (measured solid) including all mouldings but excluding frame (pre-cast frame shall be measured seperately) setting in cement mortar 1:4 precast cement concrete jalli type B-0 1:2:4 (12.5mm graded stone aggregate), complete all as specified and directed.
