Cost on account of repairs to the Kirloskar (BHQ27) Vertical Turbine, single stage pumping unit I, 12.5 cusec capacity, 20.7m dynamic head, coupled to 150Hp induction motor by way of dismantling of prime mover, motor stool, coupling, bearing housing assembly, gland assembly, motor shaft, line shaft, pump shaft, column pipes, companion joint, and bowl assembly. The job includes carriage of the bowl, housing assembly, spider assemblies etc to the workshop where necessary repairs are to be conducted in a private load carrier and back to the station, refitting/lowering of the unit at site and testing on full load. The technical specifications of the items to be replaced are given as: i. Repairs to the bowl assembly of the unit by way of fabrication, providing and fitting of SS Bush of inner dia 75-80mm, 150mm long, outer dia as per the requirement. The Job includes providing and fitting of GM sleeve with inner dia 70-75 mm, 150mm long and outer dia as per requirement press fit to SS Bush, and also includes providing and fitting of neoprene/poly-isoprene rubber press fit to accommodate the rotating impeller shaft with suitable clearance between shaft and rubber bush after carrying out necessary machining to the shaft. The SS Bush shall be of provided and fitted with SS Flange, 12mm thick, 200mm dia or as per requirement with appropriate sized holes to be fitted with the bowl assembly by means of full threaded suitable size bolts. The outside machining to the SS Bush shall be done as per sample. – 01 job ii. Repairs to the bowl assembly by way of manufacturing of seat to the bowl assembly by turning, finishing on lathe to accommodate the SS collared Bush. The job includes drilling, tapping and p/f of full thread studs as per requirement to fasten the SS Collared bush to the bowl assembly.—01 job iii. Replacement of the damaged S.S. Sleeve by way of fabrication, providing and fitting of stainless steel line shaft sleeve as per sample. The machining job shall be carried out on the lathe by engaging the skilled mechanic. --- 02 No. iv. Replacement of damaged GM bush of bowl assembly by way of providing and fitting of the GM bush of size 100mm long, inner dia, and outer dia as per requirement ---- 1 No. v. Providing and fitting of central Kit Rubber Bush as per sample --- 4 No. vi. Providing and fitting of SS Bolts and nuts as per sample. --- 30 No. vii. Replacement of the SS locking studs to the ratchet assembly as per sample --- 4 No. viii. Providing and fitting 0f 400mm dia gaskets for the various joints—10 N0. ix. Providing and filling of M. oil to the unit.--- 10 Ltr All tools all tackles shall be provided by the firm for completion of job and job needs to be carried out by highly skilled turner and welder.
