Construction of a 750 KLD Aerated Constructed Wetlands-based Gray water Treatment Plant (GWTP) at Uravakonda Village, Ananthapuramu District. Scope of Work include (i)Turnkey construction as per approved designs and guidelines from DDWSC, MoJS, CPCB, and BIS codes (ii) Includes civil works as per approved designs & drawings, filter media, electro-mechanical components, and core technology works. All materials, labour, transportation costs, testing, trail run and commissioning (iii) Operation and maintenance for 2 years post-commissioning (iv)Training for Gram Panchayat workforce (v) Excludes GST, operator wages, and power consumption charges during maintenance. The key components in GWTP are specified as under:, The key components in GWTP are specified as under:, 1.0 Civil Works (VRCC-M20 mix) as per approved designs and drawings, 1.1 A Grease Trap Chamber to remove oil, grease, and scum from wastewater as it settles. A vertical bar screen restricts unwanted materials like plastics and dry leaves from entering subsequent treatment units. A Grit Chamber which separates heavy inorganic particles from the liquid, allowing the supernatant to flow into the next unit. Grease and grit removal can sometimes be done in one chamber. A Sedimentation Tank allows settlement of influents, preventing filter bed clogging and ensuring efficient treatment. A non-permeable liner to prevent leaching of effluents. Native plants with deep, wide roots that thrive in wet, nutrient-rich environments are appropriate. Phragmites, australis (reed) is a common choice due to its horizontal rhizomes that penetrate the entire filter depth., 1.2 Cut and remove jauliflora bushes, Excavate soil, including boulders up to 0.3 m in diameter, for canals, embankments, filter drains, and catch water drains. Dress the bed and sides to the required level and profile including Cost of materials, machinery and labour. Place excavated soil neatly in a dump area or for service road/embankment formation as directed with initial lead of 1 km and all lifts. Fill sand in foundations. Plain Cement concrete with M15 (1:4:8). Vibrated reinforced cement concrete M20 grade using 20 mm HBG metal for Bottom Raft, Side Walls, Slab for all RCC Works, Like Holding Tank & Treated Water Tank, Wetlands, Wet well, Treated Water Tank, Bar screen chamber etc., if any., 1.3 Cost of steel Fe500 and its fabrication charges including bending, cost of binding wire etc., complete , 1.4 Supply and placing 40 mm, 20mm and 12mm HBG Metal as gravel media for wetlands., 2.0 Electro Mechanical Equipment, 2.1 Supply and fixing, testing and commissioning of Manual Coarse Bar Screen made of SS304 including all incidental and operational charges etc, as per approved drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge complete for finished item of work. Makes: As per list of recommended top brands , 2.2 Supplying and Installation of Mechanical Drum Screen Made of SS 304 with the Designed Flow: Filtering Drum - SS304. Required size for the required design flow, including transportation and labour charges, is complete. , 2.3 Supply and installation of an Equalisation Effluent/Sewage Pump of suitable horsepower (HP) as per BIS/relevant standards, including all incidental and operational charges, as per approved drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall be completed for the finished item. The manufacturer shall be as per the list of recommended top brands. , 2.4 Supply and complete the fixing, testing, and commissioning of an Equalisation Tank Blower of suitable capacity, as per BIS/relevant standards, including all incidental and operational charges. The work should be done as per approved drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The finished item should be made from the recommended top brands. , 2.5 A suitable size Elctro Magnatic flow meter conforming to ISO 17025 should be supplied. Flow meter test lab certification from a NABL-approved lab or FCRI should be provided. The meter should come with a 5-year warranty. (Make: M/s Krohne Marshall, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa, Siemens, Emerson, ABB, or equivalent.) , 2.6 Piping network using UPVC pipes of suitable diameters as per design for interconnecting process units, blower discharge piping, and NRVs for pumps and blowers. This includes suitable UPVC pipes, plain bends, UPVC/SWR pipe fittings, MS flanges including bolts, nuts, rubber packing, suitable couplers, pipe fittings, dual plate and non-return valves, and supply of PPR ball valves, installation, testing, and commissioning of etc. complete., 2.7 Supply and transportation of XLPE/PVC insulated and PVC sheathed armoured cables of suitable design and grade with copper conductor, as per IS 7098 Part-I - 1988, and complete. The supply should also include armed cables and copper earthing mats with GI strips, as per SSR 2025-26, with a required capacity of 750 KLD., 2.8 Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Bourdon-type, stainless steel dial-type pressure gauges with isolation valves and pipes that have suitable calibrations. Manufacturers: As per the list of recommended top brands. , 2.9 Supply and installation of EM room wiring and suitable LED fittings for the room. The lighting should have high-power LEDs with a system efficacy of at least 100 lumens per watt. 10) Necessary power supply wiring to motors and switches bus bar connections as per IE Rules. The complete package should include an earth connection and a minimum warranty of two years. , 2.10 Internal wiring and illumination and fittings and fixtures for internal and external lighting exhaust fans, ceiling fans etc. All cables shall be of copper material, Cable ducts shall be covered with MS / Aluminium chequered plate., 2.11 Erecting mechanical and electrical equipment, trial run and testing the treated water as per CPHEEO & CPCB standards and maintenance of records and imparting training to staff etc., All cables shall be of copper material, Cable ducts shall be covered with MS / Aluminium cheque plate. Yard lighting shall be provided as per norms., 2.12 Supply of 6 sets of completion plans, maintenance manuals, and brochures., 3.0 Core Technology works, 3.1 Providing the laying of a plumbing network for wetlands, including hydrological design and various types of plumbing fixtures and accessories such as PVC pipes, valves, which are designed based on subsurface and vertical flow wetlands. This ensures that effluent and sewage water are evenly spread across the wetland. Additionally, the polluted water comes into contact with the roots of macrophytes for remediation, including transportation, as per the suitable design., 3.2 Provide and plant pre-treated plants suitable for wetlands. These plants are natural pollutants scavengers that thrive in polluted water. They feed on disintegrated sewage and effluent, growing as they accumulate organic pollutants. Plan and meticulously plant these macrophytes. Select species based on pollutant load. Include the cost of pre-treated macrophyte, labour for planting, alignment, spacing, transport, supervision, tools, manure (if used), and 30 days of maintenance (watering and weeding). Complete at 5 plants per square metre., 3.3 Facultative microbes, algae, and additives, as per the design, are estimated to be required at a dose of 0.1 L per SQM to convert pollutants into nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which can then be utilised by macrophytes for consumption, including transportation and labour charges. This solution should be complete with ISI standard specifications for a period of two years., 3.4 Designing, supplying, and installing specific aeration tubing in wetlands. Forced Bed Aeration (FBA) treatment wetland engine systems are laid evenly under the wetland beds to provide forced oxygen to the beds as per the specifications and suitable design., 3.5 Detailed engineering, pre-commissioning, trail run, installation, and commissioning charges for all the electro-mechanical equipment, including gray water pumps and aeration equipment etc including loading and unloading charges, transportation charges, and the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the aerated wetland system for a period of two years are also needed. Finally, electrical connections and other necessary components must be completed., 4.0 Laboratory Test Results for Flow Measurements, Waste water to be tested for BOD, COD, TSS, Sulphate, Chloride, Oil & Grease, Faecal Coliforms, Total Coliforms etc., as per CPCB Guide Lines and register to be Maintained for Test Results., 5.0 Operation and maintenance for 2 years post-commissioning: The O&M cost includes desludging of the settled material, cutting of vegetation from the wetland and cleaning of inlets and outlets. There should be periodic cleaning of filter media based on design. Training for Gram Panchayat workforce Etc, 6.0 Excludes: GST, operator wages, and power consumption charges during maintenance.
