REPAIR REPLACEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF CI DI PIPE LINE ALONGWITH CONNECTED WORKS UNDER GE I NAVY JAMNAGAR

Demolition of brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc and removal of debris to a distance not exceeding 50 mts and depositing where directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation , laying of pipe line etc and getting out in Soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation , laying of pipe line etc and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mts and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6, type C1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in filling for road cutting and for coping of poles including necessary form work complete all as specified.

M&L for brick work with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished the surface fair and even complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up cast iron / ductile iron water mains (CI /DI Pipes) of 100mm dia any class including all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints ,recovering lead and finally cleaning inside thoroughly to remove scaling and , flushing after cleaning with clean water etc to entire satisfaction of EIC .

All as per item No. 9 here-in-above but 300 mm bore of pipe -do- Note for Sl No. 9 to 13 : (i) The water supply line repair work to be carried out both in Defence Cantt as well as in civil area in any description and in different locations in full / part (ii) It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that repair work is no where hampered during any stage i.e. currency of contract as such contractor shall prepare well in advance by laisoning with concerned State / Central department authorities under whose judristration it lies , in no case work to be stopped in half way for want of permission etc in case necessary fees if any shall be borne by the contractor for which no extra shall be reimbursed (iii) Necessary barricade, diversion boards and necessary safety signs etc as per safety norms to be made arranged by Contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (iv) During execution damage occurred to any sort structure etc the same shall be made good to its original specification by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt. (v) In case of road cutting in side Defence Cant is inevitable the same shall be cut to required size and shape only after obtaining written approval of Engineer-in Charge, in no case road cutting be done without written approval of EIC. vice versa if road cutting in Civil area is inevitable in that case necessary prior permission to be obtained from concerned Govt authorities in case of any fees etc the same to be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt, the road cutting shall be measured and paid separately under item No 57 here-in-after.(vi) Work shall be commencement and completed within the time slots allotted by EIC to the contractor for the said work. (vii) Engineer-in-Charge should strictly note that the Work shall be carried out in batch wise portion of pipe line for replacement and span and ensure batch work shall be completed by contractor on the same day and pipe line should be made ready for regular water supply in case the same is inescapable alternative / temporary arrangement shall be made by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt as directed by EIC so that regular water supply is not hampered. (viii) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately. (ix) Quoted rate for various items in BOQ is deemed to be inclusive for the above as said in Note (i) to (vii) no extra what so ever shall be entertained.

Laying , jointing, testing and commissioning of 100 mm bore CI pipe with spigot & socketed end including run lead on joint in any length laid in trenches where directed by Engineer-in-Charge all as specified and as directed .

Supply, lay, test & commissioning Centrifugally Cast Ductile Iron pipe conforming to IS-8329:2000, 100 mm bore with socket & spigot ends, Class "K9" including rubber gasket / tyton jointing materia on joint in any length laid in trenches all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Non return valve cast iron body, as per IS-5312, class PN-1.6, double flanged with nitrile reinforced ball fittings suitable for 80 mm bore ISI mark and fixed in position with rubber gasket joints, bolts nuts and washers etc all as specified and as directed.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of MS ERW pipe heavy grade of 300 mm bore complete all as directed.

M&L for MS fitting suitable for 80mm to 300mm pipes such as bends, , tappers, etc any type and angle and straight connected pieces any type joint all flange ends including necessary cutting,welding, bending , drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed including necessary jointing materials such as nut bolts washers packings and welding including testing for leekage etc to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L run lead joints for CI pipe of size 100 mm bore complete all as specified.

S&F 80 mm bore butterfly valve cast iron body confirming to IS 14846, class PN 1.6, single eccentric, double flanged short body type with all fittings, nuts, bolts and washers and necessary rubber gaskets etc including taking down old butterfly valve compete all as specified.

Demolition of damaged valve chamber and Construction of new valve chamber of size 1200x1200x1200mm internal dimension including necessary earth work excavation with earth work on any type of soil, PCC M-10 type C-2 as in foundation, brick work in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 internally and externally, flush pointed in same mortar as work proceeds, 75 mm thick PCC coping all round (M-15 with 20 mm aggregate), flooring shall be 40 mm thick PCC M-15 (Nominal mix) laid over 75 mm thick hard core. Top cover shall be made out of MS sheet 3.00 mm thick fixed in angle iron frame made out of angle iron size 40x40x6 mm with two number of hinges on one side and locking arrangement at other side complete including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified.

Cutting of existing road for removing / laying pipe line, depth of cutting not exceeding 60 cm and width 45 cm and filling the trench of road i.e. excluding top 15cms with existing aggregate obtained from cutting , watered and properly rammed to satisfaction of EIC and finally provide 150 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate to entire width of trench & finally match the top surface to road & disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 50 Mts and depositing where directed complete all as directed. (Note: Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of 150 m thick PCC 1:3:6, cutting any type of road and removal of debris).
