RUNWAY/TAXI TRACK PAVEMENT
S&F Hard drawn steel wire fabric cut to lengths, bent to shape required and tying with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm in dia exc 4 Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and as directed. (Note :- Nominal pitch of mesh is 100mm and dia of wire mesh is 5.80mm each way).
S&F 5 to 10 mm dia mild steel screw bolts/fastners (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fittied with washers and one hexagonal or square nut with length of bolt exc 5cm but n exc 10cm long and 5 to 10mm dia of neck complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for stabilization of soil and forming embankment in filling with same soil and stabilized after mixing 3% cement by weight of dry soil. The soil for stabilisation shall be pulverised mechanically upto the required degree using agricultural mechineries such as disc, harrows, rotavators etc, before addition of cement in the excavated soil including sprinkling of water not less than the OMC determined in the lab in accordance with IS 2720 part-II & III, filling in layers, finally rolled and compacted with power/vibratory roller in two layer not more than 20 cm each immediately after the mix is laid and spread to grade to acheive 98% of modified proctor density as acheived in lab (to acheive the reqd K Value 5 kg/cm2/cm) including necessary curing complete all as specified and as directed.(Excavation of earth is to be measured and paid seperately)
M&L for 200 mm thick GSB (Granular sub base) of grading V as per table 400.1 of MORTH specifications using crushed stone , spreading in single layer with motor grader on compacted sub grade and compacting with vibratory roller 8-10 tonne capacity and maintaining the required density, grading and moisture content as per MORTH specifications, compacted stabilised sub base of 98% MDD complete all as specified and as directed.
M&L for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM (Wet Mix Macadam) in two layers of 75mm each with granite,trap or basalt stone aggregate of over size aggregate of 75mm size. the material to be used and the work shall conform to the requirement of the IRC 19-1977 including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site for all leads and lifts, to be laid using mechanical paver, spread watered, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with vibratory type power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density complete all as specified and as directed.
M& L for providing 125 mm thick (compacted thickness) DLC (Dry Lean Concrete) (Design Mix) of 7 days compressive strength of 10 Kg/Sq Cm using 20 mm graded stone aggregate with min cement content of 180 Kg/Cum (preparation of sub-grade mixing and laying should be in accordance with IRC-11 Special Publication) including spreading, rolling and consolidating to required gradient and camber using mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed.
M & L providing 400 micron HDPE sheet laid over 10mm thick sand layer including all necessary cutting, overlaps not less than 300 mm complete all as specified (Note: (i) Laps are included in the rate. (ii) Sand layers included in the rate.
Material and labour providing 280 mm thick pavement quality concrete (PQC) of flexural stength 45 kilogram per sq.cm in field using min 400 kg of cement per cubic metre or as per design mix whichever is more, ( with maximum size of coarse aggregate upto 31.50mm) incorporating non-circular, virgin, synthetic monofilament polyster fibre of length 12mm to 18mm specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable alkali resistant equivalent diameter 15-40 micorn, minimum melting temprature 250 degree celcius and minimum tensile strength 300 Mpa be used upto 0.25% by weight of cement including all necessary form work for laying in bays complete all as specified and as shown on drawings. Notes:- (i) construction joints, dummy joints (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) Deduction shall be made in computing concrete quantity for expansion joints. (iii) Polyster non-circular fibre as secondary reinforcement mixed in concrete. (v) The PQC shall be laid using mechanical paver cum vibrator of requisite capacity (vi) Necessary finishing of concrete surface by brooming while the concrete is green all as specified and directed
Material and labour for forming contraction joint (dummy joint) 90 mm depth x 8 mm wide (using diamond cutter). The initial slot of 3mm to be formed by sawing the concrere with a diamond bit, high roatation frequency joint cutting machine of approved desgin as early as 12 hours of placing under moderate climatic conditions and when the concrete is sufficiently hardened. Joints to be widened to specified width in increments of 2mm. Joints filled with polyurathene joints sealant using mechanical means to a depth of 10mm (depth min above the back up rod) with min performance gurantee of 10 years and providing 10mm dia, approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod, applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidnental slipage of seleant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the selant and removing the masking tape after seleant is applied complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for forming construction joint 10mm wide upto 25mm depth of concrete to form joint using diamond cutter ) and filled with slab filled with polyurathene joints sealant compound using mechanical means to a depth of 10mm (depth min above the back up rod) with min performance gurantee of 10 years and min movement accomanadances factor (MAF) + 30 % for hydrolysis/water resistance test inculding two coats primer and providing 12mm dia, approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod, applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidnental slipage of seleant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the seleant and removing the masking tape after seleant is applied rest all as specified as per item No 9 above and as directed.
Forming 25mm thick Expansion joint using expanded polythylene pre-formed expansion joint filler pad in sheet form of brand 'Supreme capcell HD 100" or equivalent as approved by the GE and 30mm dia non cross linked Expanded polyethylene backup rod as per manufactures specifications. Density of expansion pad shall be 100 Kg/cum ± 10% and density of 30mm dia backup rod shall be 24 to 26 Kg/cum and filled with 10mm deep polyethyelene (pour grade), including painting of sides with polyethyelene primer applied in two coats with brushes on the sides of joint at an interval of 30 minutes, 30mm backup rods of approved quality fixed with suitable arrangements rest all as specified as per item No 9 above and as directed.
M&L Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc on roads, pavements and the like exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white, grey or golden yellow all as specifed and directed. Note :- The line painting shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing signs of brush marks or surface underneath. If necessary, the surface shall be repainted until the desired result is obtained.
Fencing
S&F Punched tape razer blade concentrina coil of 1000 mm coil dia(double) including provision of mild steel (annealed) biding wire complete all as specified and directed
M &L for provn of identifier legend of GI plate of size 300x200x1.6mm mounted on 25mm dia GI pipe medium grade of 0.9 mtr length incl cutting to exact shape of legend plate for lightening protection should be in oval shape and painted with yellow colour complete all as specified and directed.
Dismantling chain link fencing, barbed wire, MS round bars, nuts and bolts in existing fencing weight not exceeding 4.00 kg/sqm of any thickness or mesh, fixed with steel specified.
EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY
Cutting the existing DI/CI pipe line for fixing Tee/Bend etc of pipe of size 100/80 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.
S&F Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including GI pipe light grade, 100mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing LED street light fittings 75 watts, input 110 to 280 volts volts, street light, luminaries comprising of rectangular shape pressure Die cast aluminium housing with weather proof gasket for lamp and driver compartment including GI bracket, clamps, nuts & bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.
Supply & fixing Fibre junction box with 02 Nos PVC gland, water proof of size 240X190X90 mm hinged type with 02 Nos Aluminium bus bar of size 25mmX6mm and 8 Nos terminals with nut and bolt mounted on bus bars and MCB SP 10 Amp, 10 KA 'B' curve rating 01 No and include connection with existing cable and duly fixed with MS clamp made out of FI 40 x 3 mm thick with nut & bolt complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fixing copper conductor flexible cable PVC insulated multi-stranded twin core 02x 1.5 sqmm 1100 Volt drawing in to the street light pole incl connection for security light complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour Earthing complete with using copper strip 20x3 mm as a earth lead and copper earth plate electrode 60cm x60cm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less 1.5 mtr below normal ground level , filled around with alternate layers of charcoal dust and salt and connected to earth lead strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of brass and copper thimble and other ends of the earth strip connected to any equipment /main switch board/panel and protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 32 mm bore and watering pipe 20mm dia medium grade with funnel and wire mesh, PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 in chambers, RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 in pit cover reinforced with 8mm dia deformed bars @ 15cm centre to centre both ways including necessary excavation & earth work as directed by engineer –in-charge, complete all as shown in electric plate No-3 of MES Sch part 1 of 1991 PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 0.5 mtr away form the earth electrode and pipe for watering complete all as specified and directed.
