REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE TO CERTAIN ROADS, ROAD BERMS AND ROAD FURNITURE AT KARGIL AND AF STATION LEH UNDER GE(AF) LEH

Material and labour, repair to pot holes of any depth and area not exceeding 1.0sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces of road, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5kg per ten sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg Per 10 Sqm using VG 30 paving bitumen blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippling of 6.3mm size and again well rammed ( including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, Preparation of existing black top bituminous road surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc , sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirts complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour,applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen of VG-10 @ 5kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, premixed bituminous macadam using paving bitumen (VG-30 grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix laid, rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 ton power roller to required gradient & camber, consolidated thickness 75mm or less, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Bituminous Premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder (paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 ton power roller to required camber and gradient laid with mechanical paver, Complete all as specified and directed. The guidline stipulated in SSR Part-I/Morth specification shall be adhered. Note:- (i) Thickness of semi dense asphaltic concrete and quantities of material as mentioned above are the minimum. The quoted rates shall also be deemed to include for provision of more material in comparison to those mentioned/specified in the item, if required, to achieve the required level, gradient, camber and shape in pursuance of SSR as well and all as directed by GE. (ii) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing stone and fine aggregate and binder (bitumen) and semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be laid in single layer with self propelled mechanical paver all as directed by GE. (iii) Contractor's quoted rates shall be deemed to include all these aspects.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair, cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mmx100mmx20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972 fixed with and including MS stud of sutable size as per manufacturer instruction complete all as specified and directed. Make : Dark eye model No. DA 972 or equivalent in TATA BP SOLAR /3M

Supply and fixing in repair, solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mmx125mmx25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 Watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10000 to 18000 mcd completed as per manufacturer instruction complete all as specified and directed. Make : Dark eye/TATA BP SOLAR /3M

Supply and fix in repairs metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Make : Dark eye or equivalent in TATA BP SOLAR /3M

Supply and fix in repair 50.8 mm width high Intensity Warning Retro Reflective Reflector Radium Conspicuity Sticker Tape made of high quality material of green, red and yellow color to be fixed on any type of material, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge. Make : Dark eye or equivalent inTATA BP SOLAR /3M

Supply and fix in repair Polycarbonate safety convex mirrors of size 60 cm dia complete with mounting hardware and with MS Pipe with and including excavation of post hole in any kind of soil and grouting the MS pipe in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 block of size (300x300x600mm ), Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer in Charge (Make : 3M /Dark Eye /TATA BP SOLAR or equivalent)

M&L for surface excavation not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out complete in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Moorum/red bajri or equivalent locally available best quality material filling as in berms raising (or lowering) earth, laid in layers n exc. 30 cm thick and averaging 15 cm, spread, levelled and rammed including watering, rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonne and finishing to required size and shape etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in charge.

Removing excavated material exc. 1.50 km but n exc. 5 km and depositing where directed, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr in Charge.
