REPAIR AND MAINT OF DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMERS OF DIFFERENT CAPACITY AND APFC PANEL IN ZONE-A AND ZONE-C AT DEFENCE LAB JODHPUR

Taking out Transformer from its Position for repair / servicing / rewinding of capacity 315 KVA , 11/0.433 Volts, by disconnecting /opening HV, LV Electrical connections, earthing connections along with following other works.

(a) Transporting transformer to workshop and back to site by making necessary arrangements of T&P (crane, recovery, vehicle, tripoid to be arranged by firm) as directed. (b) Opening of transformer top cover by extraction ,removing of serviceable - unserviceable nuts bolts and washers. (c) Draining out of transformer oil and keeping in safe custody for reuse. (d) Lifting primary coil (HT) and secondary coil (LT), dismantaling of transformer complete part by part carefully, and display all the parts without damaging any portion and ascertain the serviceability of parts and quantam of repairs involved. (e) Refilling topping up of transformer oil after dehyderation and filteration in transformer. (f) Reassembling the transformer complete with all existing serviceable parts, and new parts as requied. (g) Reinstall the Transformer at site in position as directed after repair connecting HV, LV electrical connections, earthing connections and testing to entire satisfaction on load. Note:- (a) Rewinding , reinsulation of Primary and secondary coil with copper winding wire, dehydration and filteration of transformer oil, and replacement of unserviceable spares shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate Item of schedule. (b) Renewal of adequate size Nut, bolts & washers of transformer top cover shall deemed to be included in UNIT RATE QUOATED.

M&L for rewinding HT coil of 11/ 0.433 KV Transformer any capacity using proper size DPC copper wire and insulation material , heating coils in heat chamber after rewinding including taking out carefully burnt unserviceable copper winding of coils complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Disconnecting HT/LT Connection before Repair /servicing and testing of distribution transformer at site of capacity 63 KVA to 400 KVA installed on Plinth / Pole mounted structure by opening top cover & replacing unserviceable spares / components of transformer ,without lifting core assembely reassembling after repair & testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (a) Rewinding of transformer HT/LT Coils shall be carried out from ISO certified 2008 Coy. (b) Dehydration and filteration of transformer oil, and replacement of unserviceable spares shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate Item of schedule however cost of renewal of Nut, bolts & washers shall deemed to be included in UNIT RATE QUOTED.

M&L for preparation of old painted steel or iron surfaces of transformer of 63 to 160 KVA , 11/0.433 Volts capacity transformers by scrapping with steel wire brush/scrapper emery paper, etc. and applying two coats of synthetic enamel smoke grey paint over a coat of red oxide primer (painting shall be done by spray machine) including writing of SM No, MES No etc. at prominent place/location of transformer with black synthetic enamel thick paint in white back ground complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L Earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized earth strip 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth strip protected by galvanized iron 40 mm dia light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc including taking out old un-serviceable earthing, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: (i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40mm thick pre-cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm c/c on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I., (ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth strip and 32X6 mm GI strip up to 7.50 m length (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

Shifting and Mounting of Transformer 250 KVA & 315 KVA on RCC Platform from gound surface and joined all HT/LT connections to required site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
