Routine / Corrective Maintenance to DRR No. 144 W/S pertaining to Mechanical and Hospitals Sub Division 1st Baramulla

Repairs to Self starter and Alternator assembly by way of dismantling from the machine, cleaning of internal components, rectification of electrical faults, replacement of damaged bushes, carbon brushes, worn-out wiring and electrical connections wherever required. The job also includes providing and fitting of battery connection cables complete with thimbles and terminals, reassembly, testing for satisfactory performance and refitting to the machine.

Providing and fitting of Hose pipe set complete with suitable clamps, including removal of the damaged hose pipes, tightening of all connections, leak testing and satisfactory commissioning.

Providing and fitting of complete diesel Fuel Line System comprising fuel supply pipe from fuel tank to fuel injection pump (309-5-10), fuel pipe from fuel injection pump to fuel filter (309-5-11) and fuel return pipe (309-5-1), complete with all neccessary connectors, clamps and sealing washers as required. The job includes removal of damaged fuel pipes, installation of new pipes, proper routing and securing of the fuel lines, leak testing , air bleeding of the fuel system and satisfactory performance testing after installation.

Repairs to Radiator assembly by dismantling the radiator from the machine and shifting the same to an authorized/local workshop. The scope of work includes leak rectification of the radiator core and tank, brazing of damaged inlet and outlet tubes, patching of cracked/leaking portions, replacement of damaged radiator tubes wherever required, pressure testing to ensure leak-proof performance, refitting of radiator assembly to the machine, topping-up of coolant and satisfactory performance testing.

P/F nuts and bolts of radiator assy. Of size 21 No.

Repairs to Front Fork and Steering Quadrant assembly by dismantling complete steering mechanism, removing damaged fork pin by drilling and reboring, carrying out neccessary welding and machining operations, fabrication and fitting of (01) new fork pin, (01) shoulder ring, (01) washer, (01) rectangular gib head key and (01) rectangular parallel rounded-end key conforming to the original dimensions, followed by reassembly, allignment, lubrication and functional testing of the complete steering assembly, complete in all respects.

Repairs inside the Gearbox casing by way of removal of damaged studs on the sides of gearbox casing and providing and fitting the same with new ones along with drain plug and joint gasket on the top of the casing of gearbo and refitting the gearbox casing with rest of transmission system for perfect alignment, complete in all respects.

Providing and replacing Engine Oil by draining out the old/stale engine oil and filling 18 litres of fresh Engine Oil (20W40) of approved make, including supply and fitting of Engine Oil Filter, cleaning of filter housing, checking for oil leakage and testing of the engine after completion, complete in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and replacing Gear Oil by draining out the old/stale gear oil and filling 16 litres of fresh Gear Oil (EP90, API GL-4) of approved make, complete in all respects.

Providing and fitting of complete Diesel Filter Set, including removal of old filter, cleaning of filter housing, complete in all respects.
