Excavation in earth work in hilly area all heights & depths, in all kind of soil by manual/ mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock chiselling, wedging out of rock ( where blasting is prohibited ) and then intermediate classification of soil setting out true to the required line,grades, wdith camber and super elevation levels cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD Technical Specification clause 302,1603 and 1603.2 and soring out useful materials and stacking, the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of un useful materials for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all materials to required width of the road or on approved dumping site through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its levelling fine dressing and carriage of mechineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour. Any loss to the private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil, including saturated soil comprising of pick work,jumper work and blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiesling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohabited) and their intermediate classification of soil including dewatering whereever required,settling out to required lines,levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the Engineer in charge at site according to the HP.PWD specification of 1990 (one thousand nine hundred ninety) volume-I (one) and sorting out useful and unuseful material and transportation of the unuseful material for disposing at dumping site (to be arranged by the contractor) including payment of prescribed dumping charges of M.C. if levilled any to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge through all modes of transporation including head load animal load or mechanical means alongwith its levelling, fine dressing and with all kinds of labour, mechineries, tools, equipment and safety measures and incidental necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour (if required). All useful material such as stones, shingles aggregate and slates shall be properly stacked at site to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts through all modes of transporation and used/removed as per the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. any loss to the public and private properity during the course of execution and disposal of servicable and unservicable materials shall be the absolute responsiblity of the contractor and shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respects including all incidential charges and as directed by the Engineer in Charge:- All kinds of soil.

Earth work in excavation for structure in all depths as per drawing & technical specification for Rural Road August 2004 clause 305.1 including setting out, construction of shoring & bracing, removal of stumps & other deleteruious materials & disposal in all leads & lifts including dressing of sides & bottom & back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiselling and wedging out rock ( where blasting is prohibited ). All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawing or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling & stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites & safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner tramming filling of unevenness blindage & finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to sping seepage rain and other causes, it shall be remove by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responisibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from road way cutting & excavation from drain & foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet the requirement of Table 300.1 & 300.2 as per Technical Specification clause 301.5 including hauling of materials within all leads & lifts & other incidential charges & as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying & filling in plinth with sand under floors including watering, ramming, consolidating & dressing complete including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade mechanically mixed and curing complete excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level and all floor level in 1:4:8 (one Cement : four coarse sand : eight graded stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter ) nominal size) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade mechanically mixed and curing complete excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level and all floor level in 1:5:10 (One Cement : five coarse sand : ten graded stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeter ) nominal size) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing & laying cement concrete in retaining walls, return walls, walls ( any thickness ) including attached pilasters, columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts, struts, buttresses, string or lacing courses, parapet coping, bed blocks, anchor blocks, plain window sills, fillets, Sunken floor etc., upto floor five level, excluding the cost of centring, shuttering & finishing 1 : 1.5 : 3 ( One cement : one & half coarse sand : three graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size ) including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfication of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Making plinth protection 50 mm ( fifty milimetre ) thick of cement concrete 1 : 3 : 6 ( One cement : three coarse sand : six graded stone aggregate 20 mm ( twenty milimetre ) nominal size ) over 75 mm ( seventy five milimetre ) thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm ( forty milimetre ) nominal size, well rammed & consolidated & grouted with fine sand, including necessary excavation, levelling & dressing & finishing the top smooth including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(11) Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade mechanically mixed , vibrated & curing complete excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing & reinforcement - All work up to plinth level and all floor level in 1:1.5 : 3 (One Cement : One & half coarse sand : five graded stone aggregate 20mm (twenty millimeter ) nominal size) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(12) Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), mechanically mixed, vibrated and curing complete including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor all level , excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement in 1:1.5:3 (one cement : one point five coarse sand : three graded stone aggregate 20mm ( twenty millimeter ) nominal size) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(13) Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete work mechanically mixed & vibrated in beams, suspended floors, roofs having slope up to 15° landings, balconies, shelves, chajjas, lintels, bands, plain window sills, staircases and spiral stair cases above plinth level up to floor all level mechanically mixed, vibrated and curing complete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement with 1:1.5:3 (one cement : one point five coarse sand : three graded stone aggregate 20mm ( twenty millimeter ) nominal size) including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(14) Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm ( three point fifteen millimeter ) thick welded with angle iron in frame 30X 30X5mm ( thirty X thirty X five millimeter ) so as to give a fair finish including centering ,shuttering, strutting and propping etc. with wooden battens and ballies , height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4.00 meters ( four meters ) and removal of the same for insitu- reinfoced concrete and plain concrete work including all leads and lifts of materials or as per the directions of Engineer in Charge.

(14.01)Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(14.05)Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts Circular including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(14.06) Stairs, (excluding landings) except spiral stair cases including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(14.07) Edges of slabs and breaks in floors and walls Under 20cm ( twenty centimeter ) wide including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(14.08) Weather shade, Chajja, Corbels etc. including edges including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(15) Providing and placing steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding wire all complete upto floor all level. Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D or more including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(16) Rat trap bond brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. ( Non-modular ) bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation & plinth in cement mortar 1 : 6 ( One cement : Six coarse sand ) including all leads,lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge

(22) Stone/ boulder filling behind retaining wall/ under flooring, including all leads, lifts, carriage of materials & to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge

(23) Providing & fixing 18 mm ( eighteen milimetre ) thick marble work gang saw cut (Polished and machine cut) for wall lining ( veneer work) backing filled with a grout of 12 mm thick in C.M. 1:3 (One cement : three coarse sand ) including pointing with white cement 1:2 ( One white cement : Two marble dust) with an admixture of pigment to match the marble shade (To be secured to the backing by means of cramps, which shall be paid for separately) granite of any color and shade and area of slab above 0.50 Sqm ( zero point five zero square metre) in all area of slab including all leads,lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge.

(24) Providing & fixing 18 mm ( eighteen milimetre ) thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded & prepolished, machine cut for kitchen plateforms,vanity counters, window sills, facias & similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour & texture laid over 20 mm ( twenty milimetre ) thick base cement mortar 1 : 4 ( One cement : four coarse sand ), joints treated withwhite cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, coulding & polishing to edges to give high glass finish etc. complete at all level Granite of any colour, shade & all area of slab including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

(25) Providing & fixing Uni stone cladding upto all floor level heights with 30 mm ( Thirty milimetre ) thick gang saw cut stone with ( machine cut edges ) of uniform colour & size upto 1.00 x 1.00 mtr ( One point zero metre into one point zero metre ) , fixed to structural steel frame work and / or with the help of cramps, pins etc. and sealing the joints with approved weathers sealant as per Archtectural drawing & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge ( The steel frame work, stainless steel cramps & pins etc. shall be paid for separately ) Uni stone cladding-30 mm ( thirty milimetre ) thick gang saw cut stone,including all leads, lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge

(26) Providing & fixing Ist quality Ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 ( thickness to be specified by the manufacture ),of approved make in all colours, shade of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps & dados, over 12 mm ( twelve milimetre ) thick bed of cement mortar 1 : 3 ( One cement : three coarse sand ) & jointed with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 Kg ( Three point three Kilograme ) per Square meters, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete, including all leads,lifts & carriage of materials & to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge

(27) Providing & fixing structural steel frame ( for Uni stone cladding with 30 mm ( thirty milimetre ) thick gang saw cut with manhine cut edges sand stone on walls at all heights using mild steel square/ rectangular tube in the required patteren as per Architectural drawing, including cost of cutting, bending, welding etc. The frame work shall be fixed to the wall with the help of mild steel brackets/ lugs of angle iron/ flats etc. which shall be welded to the frame & embedded in brick wall with cement concrete block 1 : 2 : 4 ( One cement : two coarse sand : four graded stone aggregate 20 mm ( twenty milimetre ) nominal size ) of size 300x230x300 mm ( three hundred into two hundred thirty into three hundred milimetre ) , including cost of necessary centring & shuttering & with approved expansion hold fasteners on cement concrete/ reinforced cement concrete surface, including drilling necessary holes. Approved cramps/ pins etc. shall be welded to the frame work to support stone cladding,the steel work will be given a priming coat of zinc primer as approved by Engineer-in-Charge & painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint ( shop drawing shall be submitted by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge for approval before execution ). (34)Providing & fixing Cub board shutters 19 mm ( nineteen milimetre ) thick with pre-laminated flat pressed three layers particle board or graded wood particle board IS: 12823 marked exterior grade ( Grade I type II ) , having one side decorative lamination & other side balancing lamination, including second class teak wood lipping of 25 mm wide 12 mm thick ( twenty five milimetre wide twelve milimetre ) thick ) with necessary screws & bright finished stainless steel piano hinges, complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer in Charge.
