SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF A WORKSTATION as per description

Supply as per tender specification/description/Drawing/Condition

(a) Preferably manufacturers should participate. In case of firms other than OEMs participating in the tender, they must submit tender specific Authorization from OEM failing which their offers will not be considered. (b) OEMs can authorize and give Tender Specific Authorization to its Agent / Dealers to quote on their behalf provided the vendor takes full responsibility for the quality of the material including warranty obligation and the inspection of product against Railways order is carried out at the manufacturers premises.

[A] The tenderer must have supplied the tendered item or similar items such as any type of modular workstations to this Railway or any other zonal railways/production units/ Central Govt Organizations. Documentary evidence (such as R/Notes, Inspection Certificate,Complied PO etc.) must be furnished along with the offer evidencing the execution of such purchase orders. AND [B] The tenderer with satisfactory past performance as mentioned above for supply of the tendered item or similar items such as any type of modular workstations for a qty. of 20 percent or more of the tendered qty. against a single contract during the last three financial years and current financial year prior to and excluding tender opening date may be considered for placement of bulk and regular order.

1. EMD shall be 2% of the estimated tender value and shall be taken from all bidders for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. 2. Authorized dealers are advised to remit the EMD amount for consideration of the offer

The bidder agrees to supply the tendered stores at the rate quoted by him in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of this tender and Tender conditions available under mentioned link.

The bidder confirms that Rates and other financial terms quoted in relevant columns of financial bid will only be ruling terms for acceptance , and such terms quoted anywhere else should be ignored. [Denial of this condition not recommended]

If you are not a MSE or a consortia of MSEs formed by NSIC, please indicate percentage of sub contracts in execution of this tender that will be from Micro and Small Enterprise(in percent of order value ) with further breakup of MSE owned by SC/ST. (Information will be provided in % terms with 6 fileds; Micro owned by SC, Micro owned by ST, Micro owned by Others, Small industry owned by SC, Small industry owned by ST, Small industry owned by Others)

Have you furnished the statement of deviations.[preferably nil]

Have you quoted price on the basis of free delivery to destination, indicating the break up.

Have you quoted delivery period correctly and precisely.

Have you kept your offer valid for 90 days.[validity of 120 days is required for items of Machinery and Plants]

Have you submitted authenticated copy of the document authorizing the signatory to submit offer and commit on behalf of tenderers.

Have you attached any performance statements with your offer? For proof of supply to other railways / production units copy of Purchase Order, Inspection certificate and receipt note / certificate must be uploaded. Non-submission of such vital documents may be taken as their not having any such past performance.

Security Deposit : (1) SECURITY DEPOSIT (SD) shall be 5 % of total value of contract and shall be taken from all vendors for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. For details please refer IRS Conditions attached with the tender document. (2) Security Deposit should remain valid for a minimum period of 60 days beyond the date of completion of all the contractual obligations of the supplier. (3) Security Deposit should be submitted by the successful bidder within 21 days of issue of LOA. Requests for deduction of Security deposit from firm's first bill or any other contract's running bill is not acceptable.

Failure consequences: In the event the firm fails to execute the contract within the stipulated delivery period, the Purchaser shall be entitled to impose liquidated damages for any extension of the delivery period. Further, if the supplier, for any reason, fails to deliver the goods in whole or in part in accordance with the contractual terms and conditions (as amended from time to time), the Purchaser reserves the right to recover damages from the supplier, not as a penalty, but by way of compensation, equivalent to the value of the security deposit for the entire contract . Such damages shall be treated as outstanding recoveries against the vendor and shall be dealt with accordingly.

It will not be obligatory on the part of Tender Committee/Accepting Authority scrutinize beyond the submitted document of tenderer as far as his qualification for the tender is considered.
