General conservancy and cleaning the area from Berth No. 1 to Berth No. 14, approach roads, stack yard between B.No. 5 to 7, Transit shed No. 1 & 2 etc. daily by sweeping including removing all debris, spillage and loose materials, chipping, scraping, removing all materials and carrying debris to suitable places immediately so as to keep the area neat and clean as directed by the Engineer-in-charge including cost of all materials, labour,T & P, hand carts, and all other incidental charges etc. complete. [Note:- The total area mentioned is the quantity proposed for one year from the date of commencement of work]. Upon award of work, the Contractor has to execute the work (either by mechanical means or manually) along with list of tools and plant, details and number of labours proposed to be deployed for the work. All registers pertaining to the work including labour records shall be maintained by the Contractor and shall be produced to the department at any time during inspection of works.(The Contractor has to deploy minimum 7 Nos of Labour per day)

Hire charges for crane for removing the precast slabs from the closed drains for de-silting of drains using crane or any suitable equipment and refixing the pre-cast slabs in its position including hire charges of equipment and all other incidental charges etc. complete as directed by the department.

Disposing the collected materials from the Wharf area to the designated area as directed by the Engineer by using Mini Lorry / Tempo with driver including cost of fuel, hire charges of the vehicle, etc. complete directed by the engineer in charge. Note:- The vehicle will be utilized by the department to all the areas of conservancy Part A, B, C, D & E inside wharf area and river bank road.

Removal of carcase of animals such as cow, bull, buffalo, etc., conveying and burying the dead animal at nearby vacant area after excavating suitable pit including cost and conveyance of all material, hire charge of equipment, T&P and all other incidental charges etc. complete as directed by the department.
