Steel Cladding of Entrance Concrete Gate Pillar. Cladding work of entrance gate pillar of Orientation Centre in cement concrete having height of 500 cm and diameter of 60 cm; the work involves cleaning the concrete surface thoroughly, fixing structural material for affixing stainless steel sheet (matte finish) of thickness 3mm, cut and fashioned to perfect cylindrical shape with proper riveting /fixing by other means of the jointing, avoiding horizontal jointing as far as possible and neatly polishing .

Making signage Back Board; The work involves fixing of signage back board facing the visitor approach direction in corten steel of copper/chestnut brown/ copper leaf matte finish, 3 mm thick, cut and fashined as per drawing, in arch shape with depth 100 cm and heght from ground at pillar end 500 cm and up to the top edge at centre of arch of 750 cm, to the existing structural steel frame by suitable fastening mechanism; The structural steel frame of entrance arch is in 3D and corten steel plate with same finish will be used for covering the back side and the bottom using sheets of required width, the approximate bottom width is 80cm and backside width is 150cm.

Fixing of 3D metal letters for making the signage " THRISSUR ZOOLOGICALK PARK" in the Arial font style having height of letter 400mm, distance between letters 250mm with top margin on the back board of 650 mm and bottom margin 450mm and thickness of letter 50mm in stainless steel, polish finished, letters fixed to the back board by suitable mechanism as per the approval of the Officer in Charge; the design drawing of the Artist as per scale has to be got approved before proceeding with the work .

Sculptured animals of live scale in ferrocement work: 1. Basic structure: The work includes all steel works like welded wire mesh, metal lathe, TMT bars, MS bars, supports inside the metal frame (MS bars, MS sections, etc. of required lengths) etc. or their combination required for making shape and size of the scupture with adequate strength for the proposed ferrocement work. Steel mesh is used for reinforcement for concrete work, providing key for concrete/mortar adhesion over complex 3D surface.The structure is designed such as to bear dead load of concrete, steel etc together with possible wind load whch is high as per site condition. The inner surface of the structure should be covered with suitable sheet like geotextile etc to support the concrete/mortar when applied. The dimensions of the structure should conform to the dimensions of the finished scupture as per drawing. 2. The casting of the sculpture will be made in situ and the strcture will be anchored to the base concrete through reinforcement steel. 3. Concrete work to form the rough cut : Concrete of mix 1:1:1 ( 1 cement: 1 sand: 1 aggregate less than 10mm) or 1:1.5:2 mix or any other workable mix will be used. Concrete can be applied using hand tools or by shotcreting. The shell thickness proposed is around 65 mm or any size depending on the part of animal body. Solid structure is proposed for legs, tail, head, horns etc. Concrete is applied in layers for providing proper strength. Moist cured for at least seven days to avoid cracking and for ensuring strength. 4. Finishing work: Finishing will be done using cement mortar 1:1 ( 1 cement : 1 sand) , high cement content for workability and strength, hand applied and sculpted using carving tools while wet including artistic plaster and paint to give look of natural skin, feathers and other feature of the animal . Thickness of the finishing coat will be 10-25mm over base work.

Girafee as per the dimensions in the drawing having the height at top of leg level 210cm, top of body back at 340cm, height at top of head level 585cm and having horozontal dimension from tail to head 274cm.

Zebra as per the dimensions in the drawing having the height at top of leg level 70cm, top of body back at 150cm, height at top of head level 200cm and having horozontal dimension from tail to head 210 cm.

Ostrich as per the dimensions in the drawing having the height at top of leg level 90cm, top of body back at 155cm, height at top of head level 210 cm and having horozontal dimension from tail to head 160 cm.

Eland as per the dimensions in the drawing having the height at top of leg level 70cm, top of body back at 135cm, height at top of head level 150cm, height at tip of horn level 190cm and having horozontal dimension from tail to head 190cm.
