Eligibility Criteria

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bank should have net worth of Rs. 5000 Crores in respect of Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Rs. 1000 Crores in respect of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) (as on 31.03.2026).

Should have capital adequacy ratio (CAR) of atleast 12% in case of PSBs and 8.32% in case of RRBs as on 31.03.2026 or as the latest.

Should have Profitability track record of a tleast 2 years out of 5 preceding consecutive years in case of PSB and RRBs.

Net NPA should be less than 1.00% in case of PSBs and 8.40% in case of RRBs) as on 31.03.2026 or latest.

Maximum % of interest rate per annum (for callable & non-callable FDs and the interest should be calculated on quarterly compounding basis) which should be valid upto 30.09.2026. (If not, the validity period of the ROI shall be mentioned specifically in item No.6 of the bid document).

The bidder shall quote their rate of interest (RoI) separately for all the categories as mentioned in the tender document.

Bank conditions of lowering the interest rate (on quarterly compounding basis) in case pre closure of FD, may please be mentioned in the bid document (in the Bid Document to be provided by the banks) as item no.5.

The Company has sole discretion to decide the number of days of FDs to be kept.

The banks who quote the highest interest rate would be considered for keeping deposits, only if it meets all other eligibility criteria.

The Company has the sole authority to keep or not to keep deposits depending upon the requirement of the Company.

Bankers may require to furnish the documents in support of their statements if required. Only rates and records submitted through the e-procurement portal shall be used for evaluation and selection of the Investee Bank.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.
