M&L for taking out old unserviceable cable of any size from trenches, GI pipe protection, with and including separating serviceable bricks & set aside and removing un-serviceable bricks from site, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) The Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing in trenches or passing through pipe, 11000 volts grade, XLPE insulated PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured HT electric power UG cables, heavy duty with stranded aluminium conductor of cross sectional area of size 3 core 95 sq mm with and including all fixing & connecting accessories such as Aluminium cable lugs, cable gland, nut, bolts, washer etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE :- Earthwork & Excavation, GI pipe, bricks for protection etc shall be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation etc or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc n.exc 10 sqm on plan and n.exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm in hard/dense soil, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing excavated Soil materials to a distance n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L sand cushioning (dry) in trenches for protection of UG cables (below, above and around the cable laid in trenches) of 230mm spreding thickness and consolidated (punned) upto 180mm thickness, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note - Only punned thickness shall be measured and paid.

Supplying and Laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type – 1, flat size 300 mm x 180 mm x 40 mm, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Laying only serviceable bricks obtained from item No 1.00 here in before, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for horizontal boring across the existing road without disturbing the road surface for inserting 100 GI pipe, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Removal of surplus soil shall be deemed to be include in the unit rate. (ii) GI pipe will be measured and paid respective item under relevant item of this schedule.

M&L for 100 mm bore steel tubing light grade ISI marked with all fitting laid in trenches for protection of cable including necessary joints, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm XLPE cable complete including testing after jointing and taking down old unserviceable one, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in repairs of 32 x 6 mm galvanised iron strip, earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or fixed to poles or roof with saddle and screw current, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for precast cable route indicator of size 100x30x10 cms by using 20 mm graded aggregate type B1 (1:2:4) for cable indicator and engraving as "HT CABLE" slightly round from one side including red painting with two coat of synthetic enamel paint of a coat of primer including dismantling of old unserviceable one, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of old unserviceable 11 KV junction box including foundation after disconnecting of all electrical connection, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and installation (above ground) including testing of HT joint box 2 way outdoor type of size 1500 x 1000 x 900 mm (overall) made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet with support of angle iron frame of size 40 x 40 x 6 mm with KIOSK BOX and comprising of 03 Nos 11 KV HT porcelain bushing and copper round bus bar 12 mm dia rigidly mounted on bakelite sheet 12 mm thick to support insulators of suitable size and shape including providing necessary electric connection and applied two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer to steel surfaces (internally & externally) including PCC foundation base of size 1700 mm x 400 mm x 1400 mm height (700 mm above GL & 500 mm below GL) with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded aggregate complete including necessary excavation and earth work for foundation and necessary electric connection, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level, connected to GI earth strip 32 x 6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of brass/copper all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I 2009 connected to lightening conductor all as specified and testing on completion including. Necessary excavation, earthwork, PCC works and CI earth pit cover with watering pipe 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade, funnel with wire mesh and lugs and GI pipe 40 mm dia of light grade, for protection of earth strip including dismantling of old unserviceable one, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Excavation/PCC/Earth work/Charcoal/ Salt shall be deemed to be include in this unit rate. Note:- The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
