Excatation in soil in hilly area in all depths using manual means as per drawing and technical specification ministry of Rural Development for rural roads August 2004 (Two thousands four) clause 305.1 (three hundred five point one) including setting out, coustruction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable materials and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe dispoal of unsuitable cut materials by all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts at specified places in specified manner, systematically with level consideration to avoiding adverse effects on environment, trimming filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited).all earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials by all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts at specified places, in specified manner, systematically with due consideration to avoiding adverse effects on environment, trimming filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimension to the entire satisfaction as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion bailing out or pumping as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the whole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying cement concrete for plain/reinforced conceretein in open foundations complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 & 1203 PCC Grade M-15 (M-Fifteen) HPPWD technical specifications,including all lead and lifts and carriage of materials.

Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3mm (three milimetre) thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail 70 (Seventy centimetre) above road / ground level fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post 150X75X5 mm (One hundred fifty into seventy five into five milimetre)spaced 2.00 m (two point zero metre) centre 1.80m (one pont eight zero metre) heigh 1.10m(one point one zero metre) below ground road level, all steel parts and flaments to be galvanized by hot dip process, a fitting to conform to I.S 1367 (one thousand three hundred sixty seven) and IS 1364(one thousand three hundred sixty four) metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a space of channel section 150X75X5 mm(One hundred fifty into seventy five into five milimetre), 300mm(three hundred milimetre) long complete as per clause 810 (Eight hundred ten),including all leads lifts and carriage of materials.

Back filling with granular material behind abutment, wing wall and return wall complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1204.3.8. including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry plain cement concrete abutment wing wall, return wall with 100mm ( One hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of i(V): 20(H) one in vertical and twenty horizontal towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification of Ministry of rural Development for rural road clause 614,709,1204.3.7 and haulding carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
