Improvement to Main Canal Service Road of Rukura Irrigation Project from NH- 143 to Nuapali village.

Clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance 50 mtr outside the periphery of the area & grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm on pre measurement and removal of stumps of trees cut earlier disposal of unserviceable materials to be used or auctioned up to a lead of 1000 mtr including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm thickness with all leads, lifts and delifts with cost of all labour, hiring and running charges of all machineries, cess,T&P, etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Loosening, levelling and compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment, scarified to a depth of 150mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in table 300-2 for embankment construction and Clause 305 of MoSRT&H specification for Road and Bridge Works (4th Revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts with cost of all labour, hiring and running charges of all machineries, cess & quality control test etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Construction of granular sub-base by providing and laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates to 150 mm thickness with IRC grade - III materials as per table-401-I spreading in uniform layers with moter grader on prepared surface mixing by mix in place method with rotavator, rolling with VRR in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming using stone screened dust as binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregates, watering and compacting to the required density at OMC as per clause 401 of MoSRT & H specifications for road & Bridge works (4th Revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess etc. including labours and hire charges of T&P, materials required for the work, hire and running charges of all machineries & quality control test etc. complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Earth work in excavation in all kinds of approved soil from approved borrow area by mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts including loading into the transportation vehicles and unloading from transported vehicles and depositing the same on properly prepared and scientifically approved surface including rough dressing and breaking the clods to maximum 5cm. to 7cm. ,laying in layers not exceeding 22.50cm including removal of roots, shrub jungles, bushes and all foreign debries from the earth and benching the old embankment, sectioning, cambering the earth work and lighting of haul roads and borrow area including mobilization and demobilization of men and machineries and all incidental charges required for the completion of work, complete in all respect including cost of royality with labour cess as per approved drwaing, specification & quality control test and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Watering earth work and compaction by vibratory roller (8-10 tonne capacity) and spreading with ordinary grader attached with tractor in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm to 95% dry density including hire and running charges of all the machineries complete and all incidental charges required for the completion of work, complete in all respect including cost of royalty with labour cess , specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement to be taken on the finished compacted section )

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting to 150mm thickness graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the materials (as per table-400-II) with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per Clause 406 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess including labours, hire and running charges of machineries & quality control test etc.all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Clause 502 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, cess including labours and hire and running charges of machineries & quality control test etc.all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 50mm thickness bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using specified grading -II, 19mm nominal size hard granite crusher broken chips, premixed with bituminous binder of 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen @ 3.3 % of the weight of the mix, transporting the hot mix to work site, laid over a previously prepared surface with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per Clause 504 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance,royality, cess, hire and running charges of machineries & quality control test etc.all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and applying tack coat with bituminous emulsion (60/70) penetration grade using the emulsion pressure distributer @ 0.20 Kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned properly with mechanical broom as per clause 503 of MoSRT & H Specification for Road & Bridge work (4th revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, cess including labours, hire and running charges of machineries & quality control test etc.all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Providing and laying 25mm thickness semi dense bituminous concrete with batch type hot mix plant using specified grading -I, 13mm nominal size hard granite crusher broken chips, premixed with bituminous binder of 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen @ 4.5 % of the weight of the mix, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per Clause 508 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision) with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, cess including labours, hire and running charges of machineries & quality control test etc.all complete as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge
