SCHEDULE 'A' PART - I B/R(ROAD, PATH AND AREA DRAINAGE ) Material and labour for Preparing existing black-top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt, etc., and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer using viscosity grade paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5 kg/10sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder content by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premixed asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premixed asphaltic dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, dashes, arrows etc., and the like not exceeding 10 cm wide on road pavements with hot-applied thermoplastic road-marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine, all as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cat-eye solar reflective type of metal alloy body of size 100 mm × 100 mm × 20 mm with PAMA strip-lens reflector of model No. DA-972.0, fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing solar cat-eye aluminium alloy shell (100% waterproofing design according to IP-65) of size 125 mm × 125 mm × 25 mm (shank 65 mm) with high-efficiency mono-crystalline solar panel 2.4 V / 0.3 watt, one Ni-ed rechargeable battery (1.2 V / 1600 MA), consisting of super-bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd, complete as per manufacturer’s instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and fixing retro-reflective cautionary/warning sign boards of equilateral triangular shape having each side of 900 mm with support length of 3650 mm, made of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face fully covered with high-intensity encapsulated type heat-activated retro-reflective sheeting conforming to Type-IV of ASTM-D-4956-01 in blue and silver-white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC:67-2001, pasted on substrate with adhesive backing activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to Class-2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of MS angle iron 25mm×25mm×3 mm along with theft-resistant measures; mounted and fixed with 2 Nos. MS angles 35mm×35mm×5 mm to a vertical post made of MS tee section ISMT 50mm×50mm×6 mm welded with base plate 100mm×100mm×5 mm at the bottom end; including making holes in pipes, angle flats, providing and fixing MS message plate of required size; steelwork painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint of required shade of approved brand over priming coat of zinc-chromate yellow primer (vertical MS-tee support painted in black and white). Back side of aluminium sheet painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint over appropriate priming coat including all leads and lifts complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying and fixing retro-reflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm diameter made of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face fully covered with high-intensity encapsulated lens type retro-reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-Charge. Letters, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC-67 with required colour scheme using high-intensity Grade-A sheeting. The aluminium sheet shall be riveted to MS frame of angle iron 40mm×40mm×4 mm. The boards shall be fixed to one number 50mm×50 mm square post made of MS angle 50mm×50mm×4 mm, 4 m long welded to the frame with anti-theft arrangement. Sheet work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint over an under-coat (primer) and back side to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint including priming coat including all leads and lifts complete all as specified and as directed
