Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, for all lift, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m etc., as required and as directed by Engineer-in-charge, complete.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and for all lift etc., as required and as directed by the engineer-in-charge, complete. Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, complete. Providing and laying 1:1½:3 PCC M-20 (1 Cement : 1½ coarse sand derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer in charge, complete. All labour and materials.

Providing and laying design mix cement concrete of M-30 grade, in roads/ taxi tracks/ runways, using cement content as per design mix, using coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportions as per approved & specified design criteria, providing dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars wherever required, laying at site, spreading and compacting mechanically by using needle and surface vibrators, levelling to required slope/ camber, finishing with required texture, including steel form work with sturdy M.S. channel sections, curing, making provision for contraction/ expansion, construction & longitudinal joints (10 mm wide x 50 mm deep) by groove cutting machine, providing and filling joints with approved joint filler and sealants, complete all as per direction of Engineer in-charge (Item of joint fillers, sealants, dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars to be paid separately) Cement concrete prepared with batch mixing machine. Providing and applying tack coat using bitumen emulsion Rapid Setting bitumen Emulsion on bituminous surface @ 0.4 kg/sqm conforming to IS:8887, using Emulsion pressure distemper Including preparing the surface & cleaning with mechanical broom etc., as required and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, complete.
