Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exc. 1.5 m depth and getting out soft / loose soil for laying of cables, pipes etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc. 50 m distance and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Labour only for attending break down of pipe line bursting / cracks and including cleaning / removal of broken pipe pieces of various lengths through gas cutting / manual cutting as per site requirement and including inserting necessary specials such as pipes, CI / DI Collar / mechanical Joints etc as per site requirement, testing for leakages of lead joints, testing and necessary dewatering by using necessary dewatering pumps, JCB's, Cranes complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge, for the following sizes:- Note 1 :- The quoted rate is deemed to be include the following:- (i) Arrangement of suitable Pump sets for dewatering at the time of attending break down. (ii) Necessary labour/trade men for attending break down. (iii) Labour element required for fixing MS pipes, specials, fittings etc. Note 2 :- Earth work, Supply only MS pipes, Shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.

Supply and replacement of fire hydrant landing valve gun metal, type 'A' (Single head outlet) of 63 mm bore conforming to IS-5290 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of fire hydrant landing valve gun metal, type 'B' (Double head outlet) of 63 mm bore conforming to IS-5290 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement ABS plastic 3/4" shut off nozzle suitable for 19/20mm hose complete all as specified and directed

Supply and replace 150 mm bore CI sluice valves PN 1.6 (Raising type) conforming to IS 14846 flanged end with iron wheel head and stainless steel spindle flanged joints including necessary nuts, bolts, and washers etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Repairing/ Servicing of 63mm dia fire hydrant valve single/ double headed (type 'A' & 'B") with iron hand wheel by replacing seat, Neoprene 'O' rings, spring loaded side locks including renewal of necessary bolts/nuts/washers complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Cleaning of fire fighting water tank of 25000 litres capacity including pumping out the accumulated water in the bottom using pumpset, removing the complete sludge by suction process using either suction pump or vaccum process, cleaning the walls ceiling & floor using high pressure water jet to dislodge all the mud, dirt algaue, fungus and layers of calcinations, vaccum cleaning to remove the dislodged waste, cleaning with bleaching powder on walls / floor of the sump to make it sterilise and take care of any further suspend bacteria, viruses which might have remained in the tank without disturbing the water suply to the area including painting the details of sump capacity, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning on the sump wall and applying one coat of white wash to entire tank internal and external complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L preparation of steel surfaces and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on MS pipe 150 mm bore complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

M&L masonary valve chamber of size 900x900x900 mm (internal dimensions) and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 foundation, brick work in cement mortar 1:6, plastering internal and external surface 15 mm thick in CM 1:4, 50 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) coping, 50 x 50 x 6 mm thick MS angle iron, 5 mm thick MS plate cover with locking arrangement, painting exposed steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer including dismantling unserviceable compete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of hose boxes of size 800 x 600 x 250 mm with 2 mm thick CRCA sheet, frame made out of 25 x 25 x 5 mm thick MS angle Iron with double door, glazed with 4 mm thick sheet glass and including necessary locking arrragement, preparation and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (fire red outside and brilliant white inside) over a coat of zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Supply and replacement of 4 mm thick sheet glass for fire hose boxes of size 0.20 x 0.20 m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Supply and replacement of hose reel drum of 19mm dia and 30 metre length conforming to IS-5132 including gun metal hose reel cap (shank) suitable for double hydrant control valve complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for dismantling the pump portion which is coupled with electric motor/ Alternator of 105 BHP to 173 BHP capacity by removing the coupling and foundation bolts etc., carrying out the overhauling of the pumpset including replacement of unserviceble minor spares/ parts such as impeller nut, keys, lock washer, gasket and gland packing to arrest the leakages from pump and greasing etc., complete cleaning, painting and re-assembling in position, testing and commissioning up to satisfaction level complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per SL. Item No.44 above but 60 to 100 BHP capacity

Supply and replacement of single hydrant stand post made of MS pipe of size 80 mm bore heavy grade, 1.50 m height with 90°, duck foot bend both end flanged and including welding if required to suit single fire hydrant valve and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Supply and replacement of MS ERW heavy grade pipe 200 mm bore, thickness not less than 5.40 mm laid in trenches etc, vertically with welded joints and including preparation and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer in open places and with bitumen coating / felt cover in trenches, testing / commissioning complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
