Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m width and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil for taking up/laying cable/pipe etc completed all as specified and directed.

Returning , filling in trenches, including spreading , levelling , watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in Soft/loose soil complete all as directed.

Removal of excavated material at a distance not exc 50 mtr and dipositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point in Soft / loose soil complete all as directed.

Supply and laying dry Sand cushioning to underground cable with screened, washed river sand, including punning gently all as specified and directed. Note: - Thickness after punning will be measured for payment.

Supply and laying burnt brick old size sub class 'B' laid in trenches a butting each other with a gap not exceeding 10 mm , vertically over the cable for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for taking down underground HT/LT cable of aluminium conductorf up to 300 Sqmm of any core after disconnecting from sheet metal encloser / panel board and taking out from trenches including making good the disturbed surfce complete all as specified and directed.

(c) Making all indicator bulbs and push buttons functional at no additional cost (d) Making all electrical connections to voltmeter and ammeter good and ensure the proper functioning of ammeter and voltmeters with proper caliberation/adjustment of voltage and current of outgoing VCB,s with main Incomer VCB Note: (1) The contractor should ensure the proper functioning of VCB's and should approach with authorised manufacturer rep /dealer for carrying of servicing of breaker periodically & when fault /breakdown occurs. (2) Contractor shall produce all purchase voucher, service report and test certificate before submitting the RAR. (3) The contractor shall be responsible for serviceability of VCB for the entire contract period (4) Unserviceable Spare Part will be paid and measured separately under respective items of schedule. (5) contractor shall arrange the transport to VCB trolly to manufacturer workshop and refix after repair as direction by JE/ Engr-in-Charge. cost for transportation is included in this item. (6) Contractor should arrange parts and make serviceability as per direction of JE/ Engr-in-Charge with in 48 hrs otherwise penalty of Rs 2000 per Hrs imposed..

M & L for Opening the HT 11 KV, Bus bar chamber of HT panel , cleaning the HT bus bar , inspect the nuts, bolts, bus bar insulator and tighting/replace with new one if required and heating up for removal of moisture , record its IR value with the help of 5 KV megger and applying thick coating of Z931 strippex B and Z955 Strippex (SL) of stanvac product or its equivalent makes as approved by GE for preventing from flush over and fire hazard , including replacement of 3/2 mm thick gasket, closing of all holes and charging the same complete all as directed by Engineering -in- charge .

M & L for disconnecting the existing unserviceable over current and earth fault relay from the VCB Panel and Supply and fixing of new digital microprocessor Base 3 over current +1 earth fault relay including all electrical connection and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

M & L for comprehensive Maintenance / Servicing of existing RMU's, 3 phase, 11 KV, 630 / 400 Amps by authorised dealer only.The scope of work includes :(a)Calibration of metering system, checking, setting, adjustment of over current relay, earth fault and tripping relay complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.The contractor should immediately approach mechanic of authorised dealer as soon as fault occurs/resetting required. (b) Checking of all incoming and outgoing HT Terminals for any looseness and ensuring the proper tightness for all terminals. (c) Checking the nominsl operating gas presssure as per manufacturer's standard of RMU and testing for any leakage of insulation gas and rectify the same if found (d) Operating gas pressure should be suitable to satisfy the rated dielectric strength (e) Testing for CT's, PT's, Relays , Breakers and cable glands. (f) Anti oxide greasing should be done at all connections of cable and bus bars Note: (1) The contractor should ensure the proper functioning of RMU's and should approach with authorised dealer for carrying of servicing of breaker periodically & also when fault /breakdown occurs. (2) Contractor shall produce all purchase voucher and test certificate before submitting the RAR. Eng-in-Charge shall be ensured the same while processing RAR striclly. (3) The contractor will be responsible for serviceability of RMU's for the entire contract period by authorised dealer only. (4) Unserviceable Spare Part will be paid and measured separately under respective items of schedule.

Coat contact surfaces with contact lubricant to ease mating, ensure lubrication is done according to the manufacturer specification, protective relays and circuit breaker trip devices should be inspected and tested according to manufacturer's specifications including testing complete.

M & L for Servicing of transformer 500 /400/315/200/100 KVA at carrying out insulation resistant test(HT-LT,HT-E & LT-E), BDV of Oil (top & bottom sample), checking of oil leakage, Filtration & topping up of oil, test, quaterly resistance check of earth pits, arresting of leakage by proper tightening of terminals& joints,replacement of loose or burnt out gasket nut & bolt, & proper sealing of valves etc as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i)The cost of oil filtration, gasket & new oil will be measured & paid separately. (ii) The contractor should produce all testing certificates immediately after testing, .Moreover testing should be carried out by authorized OEM only

Supply and topping up transformer oil during after filtration and ensure dielectric strength upto 40 KV to 60 KV complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in charge.

S&F in replacement worn out HT terminal with bush ( brass spindle with caramic bushing) of existing size for transfomers to arrest leakage by openging top cover and refixing the same complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in charge.

S&F in replacement worn out LT terminal with bush ( brass spindle with caramic bushing) of existing size for transfomers to arrest leakage by openging top cover and refixing the same complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in charge.

M & L for replacement of unserviceable synthetic rubberized corksheet/gasket of 6mm thick for fixing top cover and HT / LT side transformer bushes of following capacity

S&F in replacement of Silica Jel of excisting transformer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in charge.

M & L for rewinding of HT coils with super enameled copper wire / strips DPC / super enameled matching with existing gauge and insulating material of high class as per manufacturer recommendation with packing / insulation material in each layer of winding,Baking the core assembly with the help of oven duly varnshing the coils to improve IR valve and to eliminate moisture and Inserting the core assembly after repair the core and making connection with HT / LT bushing studs & lead extension(replacing studs if damaged) and closing the tank top cover by fixing nuts, bolts and washers (Top cover gasket will be measured and paid for seperately) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for replacement of Earthing complete in repairs with galvanised steel earth electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6 mm burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below normal ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below ground level connected to and including galvanised earth lead as eGI strip of 32X6mm dia by means of bolts,nuts, check nuts and washer etc made of galvanised iron and connected to earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR Part I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including excavation/earth work in any type of strata, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 earthing chamber, precast RCC slab 50 mm thick in reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM jali weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm), cast iron frame, funnel with wire mesh, 40 mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, lugs, 15 mm bore medium grade GI protection pipe, test point etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Item includes the cost of 7.5 metre GI pipe for protection of earth lead. Any addition in length shall be adjusted through deviation order. Supply and fix in replacement of Aluminiun strip of existing size 32 x 6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for earthing connection to bus bar trunking system of existing LT Panels at MAP power stations

M & L for shifting of serviceable transformer 250 KVA from MES store yard / sub-stn (indoor / outdoor) for installation in place of unserviceable transformer and back after replacing with repaired transformer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation of pole, stays etc. complete.

M&L for PCC PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with 20 mm graded aggregate for coping of pole including form work complete all as directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of copper strip of existing size 32 x 6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for earthing connection to bus bar trunking /panel/DBs etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

S & F Cable route indicator for HT Cable made out of 150 mm round disc of cast iron duly written with HT/LT cable properly fixed with nut bolts to angle iron 40x40x5 mm length 60 cms properly grounted in ground at a depth 25 cms with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate size 10x10x10 cm underground, incluidng necessary excavation earthwork complete. Angle iron shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete as in repairs all as specified and directed.
