Contract Details

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil, for laying of under ground electric cable complete all as specified

Taking out LT UG cables of any size by excavation and earth work in any type of soil, removing bricks or PCC cover of any size complete all as specified and directed NOTE: Excavation, Joints & Jointing materials, new cable, additional bricks/PCC Covers, sand shall be measured & paid separately.

Relaying old serviceable under ground LT cable of any size obtained from item 2 above complete all as specified and directed

Supply and lay, jointing and testing in repairs/replacement of LT cable of size 16 Sqmm 4 core XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty with multi stranded aluminum conductors, 1100V grade, laid in trenches / ducts / through GI pipe fixed to pole complete all as specified and directed Note: Excavation earthwork, cable covers, sand cushioning and GI protection pipe shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for river bed sand used in trenches/ ducts 08 cm under cable and 15 cm above the cable for cushioning/protection to cable and get thick 18cm after hand punning complete all as specified and directed

M&L for old size sub class `B` bricks, kiln burnt, as in cable protection laid flat with axis of brick perpendicular to the axis of the cable complete all as specified and directed .

Relaying old retrived serviceeable sub class 'B' bricks all as directed

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each complete all as specified and directed

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.50 meter above the starting point complete all as specified

Supply, fixing and testing LT cable jointing kit straight through heat shrinkable type suitable for cable PVC /XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty aluminum conductor 1100V grade LT cable of size 3.5/4 core 16 to 50 sqmm complete all as directed.

Supply and laying galvanised steel water tubing, light grade, IS-1239 marked with all fittings IS marked and laid in trenches under roads in drains, fixed to poles/walls with required size flat iron clamp bolts, nuts and washers, pipes of 50 mm bore ,fixed in repair complete all as specified and as directed.

Restretching/ tightening of ACSR conductor of any type and size by disconnecting from insulators from any location complete all as directed. Note:- (i) Proper shut down has to be taken from MES. (ii) T & P i.e. Ladder, safety items, or any other equipment for repair tightening of ACSR conductor shall be provided by Contractor and cost for the same deemed to be included in respective items

Dismantling / taking down in repairs the street light / security lights of any capacity & description from existing LT pole/walls at any height and refixing the fittings in existing / another location after repair work all as directed by Engg-in-charge. Note:- (i) Replacement of defective parts / accessories shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items. (ii) Transport and T & P i.e. Ladder, safety items, or any other equipment for repair of street light shall be provided by Contractor and cost for the same deemed to be incl in respective items

S&F in repairs brackets for street light fitting made out of 32 mm dia G.I. Pipe light grade in shape and angle as directed not exceeding 1.5 mtrs in length fixed to pole with suitable size of M.S. clamps made of M.S flat of size 40 mm x 3 mm, 2 Nos, M.S nut & bolt with cup washers and dismantling old rusted/unserviceable bracket with its rusted clamps and nut bolts complete all as specified. Note- Rate of GI Pipe, clamps, flat and nut bolts inclusive in item rate

S&F in repair service wire 1100 volts grade PVC insulated PVC unsheathed cable multi stranded copper conductor of size 3 core 1.0 sqmm complete all as specified

S&F in repair service wire 1100 volts grade PVC insulated PVC sheathed cable weather proof multi stranded with aluminum conductor of size 2 core 6.0 sqmm complete all as specified

M&L for Cutting under road/PCC path and passing GI pipe for cable protection and making good as existing complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair integral LED street light luminaries comprising of epoxy powder coated housing, enclosed with glass cover in frame of capacity 70/72 watt, Ingress protection IP 65 protection including connected wire, Suitable for 40mm dia pipe, with complete accessories to be fixed on pole/wall including connecting the fitting to over head ACSR/bus bar box at the bottom of pole with using 1.00 Sqmm three core PVC insulated and unsheathed copper conductor cable complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repair/replacement of auto /manual street light timer nature switch weather proof enclosure made out of UV stabilized, FR grade special molding compound, rust proof, electric sock proof, vermin proof outdoor pole mountable with mounting bracket made out of GI and nut, bolts, washers including cable glands, openable door with 08 kW three phase load with Power contactors 3nos as incoming and outgoing with MEC rating of 32 Amps/phase and circuit wiring of min 16 sqmm including taking down existing switch complete al as specified.

S&F in repair/replacement of street light 24 hrs analog time switch weather proof enclosure rust proof, electric sock proof, vermin proof outdoor including taking down existing switch complete al as specified.

S&F in repair/replacement for kiosk box for luminaries, weather proof made out of PVC/HDPE /FRP housing fire retardant, non fusing, shock & rust proof, single piece molded and cover with hinged door, pole mounting type comprising of aluminum TPN bus bar of 60 Amps of minimum size 300x250x150mm, fixed on pole with MS, clamps 30x5mm with necessary nuts, washer complete all as directed. Note. Rate of TPN bus bar and MS clamp inclusive in item rate

Trimming of tree branches touching to over head lines, up to 1.5 mtr distance all around of ACSR conductors of span 30meter to 50 meter of HT/LT feeders and depositing cut branches away from site as directed and clearance of HT/LT pole and sub station premises all as directed Note: (i) Trimming of all branches of trees falling under one span between two pole shall be considered as one span only. (ii) Contractor have to arrange all T&P, safety equipments manpower and vehicle for trimming at different locations. Contractor or his rep has to ensure power shut down of overhead lines before carrying out trimming. Contractor shall be responsible for any lapses/ mishappening occurred due to negligence of safety aspects.

Note :-Tenderers may be noted that amount of credit will be deducted from the total amount arrived, at the time of Acceptance of contract.
