Clearing the site/areas of shrubs, vegetation, grass, brush wood,trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level including removal of roots to a minimum depth of 60 cm and disposal of rubbish up to a distance of 2 km outside the periphery of the area cleared etc. complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of surplus excavated earth upto a lead of 50 m and lift upto 3 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. All kinds of soil (Rate quoted should be inclusive of dewatering)

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of wall,foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layers by ramming and watering, including all lead and lift upto 3 m.

Extra for the carriage of surplus excavated earth within a lead of 5 km by mechanical transport including loading,unloading and stacking etc. as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Providing and laying rubble as soling layer on the drain bed up to PCC bottom, 37.5 cm thick in required profile including cost of all material, labour, dewatering, preparation of bedding surface, filling the voids with stone screens and compacting with excavator etc. as directed by Engineer-in -charge

Laying rubble as soling layer with departmentally supplied hard stone on the drain bed up to PCC bottom, 37.5 cm thick in required profile including breaking of large boulders into required size, cost of all other material, labour, dewatering, preparation of bedding surface, filling the voids with stone screens and compacting with excavator etc. as directed by Engineer-in -charge

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of grade 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 fine and : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size), upto all levels excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - work up to all level : 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-II) : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size): coping over compound wall

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - work up to all level : 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand (zone-II) : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

Providing and laying in position machine batched, machine mixed and machine vibrated design mix cement concrete of M-25 grade conforming to IS 456 or IS 10262 for reinforced cement concrete structural elements,using coarse sand conforming to IS 383 and 20mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement including admixtures in proportion of 0.5%of weight of cement (as per IS 9103) to accelerate,retard setting of concrete improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge to all work upto plinth level. Minimum cement content is 410Kg/m3.

Providing and laying in position machine batched, machine mixed and machine vibrated design mix cement concrete of M-25 grade conforming to IS 456 or IS 10262 for reinforced cement concrete structural elements,using coarse sand conforming to IS 383 and 20mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement including admixtures in proportion of 0.5%of weight of cement (as per IS 9103) to accelerate,retard setting of concrete improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge all works above plinth level upto floor V level. Minimum cement content is 410Kg/m3.

Extra for laying reinforced cement concrete in or under water and/or liquid mud including cost of pumping or bailing out water and removing slush etc. complete. The quantity will be calculated by multiplying the depth measured from the sub-soil water level up to centre of gravity of concrete under sub-soil water level with quantity of concrete in cum executed under sub-soil water. The depth of centre of gravity shall be reckoned correct to 0.1m. 0.05m or more shall be taken as 0.1m and less than 0.05m ignored.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for : Foundations, footings, bases for columns

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for walls (any thickness) including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses fillets, kerbs and steps etc.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for Small lintels not exceeding 1.5 m clear span, moulding as in cornices, window sills, string courses, bands, copings, bed plates, anchor blocks and the like

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for Columns, piers, abutments, pillars, posts and struts

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete above plinth level. Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

Structural steel work in single section, fixed with or without connecting plate including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete as per specification and and as directed by Engineer in charge.

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete as per specification and and as directed by Engineer in charge.The rate shall include all lift ,lead and hire charges of welding plant etc complete.

Providing and fixing GI diamond mesh fencing with 2 inches x 2 inches spacing and minimum diameter of 5.4 mm/ gauge no. 5 fixed to structural frame work for fencing including cutting of wire mesh and welded with structural frame work including cost and conveyance of all materials, all labour charges, lead, lift sundries etc. complete, including applying one coat zinc chromate primer, as directed by Engineer in charge (cost of structural frame will be paid separately).

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete. Hot finished welded type tubes

Solid block masonry in cement 1:6 (1 cement: 6 sand)using concrete block of M10 grade at all levels as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

15 mm cement plaster of mix : 1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand) at all heights

Finishing walls with textured exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.28 ltr/10 sqm) over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm at all levels as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new steel work at all levels as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : Two or more coats on new masonry work over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20kg/10 sqm of approved brand and manufacture

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. With material conforming to Grade-I (size range 75 mm to 0.075 mm)

Supplying and filling in plinth with M sand under floors including watering, ramming consolidating and dressing etc complete as dire cted by the Engineer-in-Charge

Extra for cutting reinforcement bars manually/ by mechanical means in R.C.C. or R.B. work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional area of R.C.C. or R.B. work) as per direction of Engineerin-charge

Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead.

Repairing and maintenance of CI/DI pipe with departmentally supplied pipe including cost of specials, CID joints etc. and fixing of CID joints/specials,pipe ,fittings caulking lead wool and hemp ,labour charges,dewatering,etc.complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge

Dismantling steel cylinder R.C. pipes/ hume pipes including excavation and refilling trenches after taking out the pipes, manually/ by mechanical means breaking lead caulked joints, melting of lead and making into blocks including stacking of pipes & lead at site within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge :Up to 600 mm diameter

Drilling suitable holes in reinforced or plain cement concrete with power driven drill machine to a minimum depth of 100mm upto 200mm in RCC walls, beams, lintels, columns and slabs to introduce steel bars for columns/beams/slabs etc. including fixing the steel bars in position using epoxy resin anchor grout of approved make but excluding the cost of reinforcement, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Upto and including 12mm dia.

Providing weep holes in RCC walls of width 250mm with 50 mm dia PVC pipe, 10 kg/cm² extending through the full width of the wall with a slope of 1V:20H towards draining face and covering the inlet side of the pipe with nylone mesh of approved quality including back filling the inlet with aggregate 25cm x25cm x 25cm size etc. complete as directed by Engineer in charge

Providing and laying filter media with granular materials/stone crushed aggregates to a thickness of not less than 300 mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall compacted to a firm condition complete as per drawing and directed by Engineer in charge

Pointing and patching on drain wall stone work/ rubble masonry with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand): Flush/ Ruled pointing including all lead, lifts, etc. as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Surface dressing/ cleaning of the drain bed before RCC including removing vegetation, broken or dispersed stones, collapsed rubbles and any inequalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 3 m, etc. as directed by the Engineer in charge.
