8313 REPAIRS TO JOINERY, WATER PROOFING TREATMENT, ATT AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS WORKS UNDER AGE (I) RnD NSTL, VISAKHAPATNAM

Taking down existing roof treatment of any description including roof plaster and removing the debris to a distance exc. 500m and depositing out side MD land all as directed.

M&L for roughening surfaces of old concrete floor/ roof by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc., brushing neat cement slurry with 3 kg of cement per sq.m. and finally rendering 15mm thick in CM (1:4) on concrete surfaces finishing even and smooth without using extra cement complete including mixing water proofing compound all as specified. [Note: Supply only water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately]

Supply only integral water proofing compound conforming to IS: 2645-1975.

M&L for water proofing treatment to RCC roof by priming the plastered surfaces with a coat of cold applied bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384 @ 0.30 Litre/sq.m, laying Atactic Polypropylene Polymer (APP) modified membrane pre fabricated five layer 3mm thick, weighing not less than 3kg/sq.m with non-woven polyester matt central core of 150 gsm (minimum) impregnated and coated on both sides with layers of APP modified bitumen and finished with micro-perforated heat fusible polythene film on both surfaces using LPG/ Butane torch as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75mm & end over lap of 100mm, tucked into the chases on vertical surfaces to a height of 300mm, followed by applying a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.2 kg/sq.m over the membrane & finally finished with bituminous aluminium paint @ 100ml/sq.m complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down steel windows with shutters (with out taking off shutters from frames) n. exc. 1.5sq.m. each all as specified.

Taking down steel windows with shutters (with out taking off shutters from frames) exc. 1.5sq.m. but n. exc. 4sq.m. each all as specified.

M&L for uPVC factory made, white colour sliding windows made of 2½ track extruded profiles with glazed & mosquito proof mesh shutters; profiles of frames and sash will be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners including drilling of holes for fixing hardware and drainage of water etc., making arrangement for fixing of hardware, EPDM gasket, 1.2 ± 0.2mm thick galvanised steel profile to be inserted in required profile, frame will be fixed to the wall with 8mm x 100mm long fasteners, necessary zinc alloyed (powder coated) hardware like locking/ recess handle etc., steel rollers, glass pane inserts of 5.5mm thick sheet glass & nylon mosquito proof mesh, rubber beading for fixing glass complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for uPVC factory made, white colour louvered ventilators made of extruded profiles with figured/ frosted glass louvers; profiles of frames and sash will be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners including drilling of holes for fixing hardware and drainage of water etc., making arrangement for fixing of hardware, EPDM gasket, 1.2 ± 0.2mm thick galvanised steel profile to be inserted in required profile, frame will be fixed to the wall with 8mm x 100mm long fasteners complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for all as specified.

M&L for framed work such as grills, gratings, etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of new or previously untreated steel/ iron surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm in width or girth and applying two coats of Anti-corrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for forming jambs, etc. to openings (to foregoing item) in cement mortar 1:4, including cutting, toothing and properly bonding into old work, also facing, jointing and pointing to match existing work, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for anti termite treatment at points of contact of wood work by chemical emulsion (in oil or kerosene based solution) @ 0.5 litre/hole by drilling 6mm dia holes at a downward angle of 45º at 150mm centre to centre and sealing the same complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing and injecting chemical emulsion for Post Constructional Anti-termite treatment along the external wall below concrete or masonry apron using chemical emulsion @ 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling and plugging holes etc. in apron complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Treatment of soil under existing floors using emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling and plugging 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and as directed.
