Dismantling floor, hearth wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing old debries out side MD land all as directed.

Glazed ceramic tiles, coloured (light colour as approved), of size 300 x 450 x 7mm / 300 x 600 x 7mm / 300 x 200 x 7 mm thick on vertical surfaces such as in skirting / dado or treads and risers of steps, staircase or other verticle surfaces set and jointed in cement slurry over 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) and pointed in white cement with pigment to match the colour of tiles complete all as specified and as directed.

Non skid Ceramic coloured Joint free tiles of size 600 x 600 x 10mm thick (area of each tile exceeding 0.18 Sqm but n.exc. 0.36 Sqm) as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white cement with pigment to match the colour of tiles over and including 15mm thick bedding layering cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified.

Glazed ceramic tiles, coloured (light colour as approved), of size 600 x 100 / 120 mm x 9 mm thick on vertical surfaces such as in skirting / dado etc set and jointed in cement slurry over 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) and pointed in white cement with pigment to match the colour of tiles complete all as specified and as directed.

Non skid Ceramic coloured tiles of 8mm thick (area of each tile exceeding 0.06 Sqm but n.exc. 0.11 Sqm) as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry using 2/3 mm spacer and pointed with epoxy grout with pigment to match the colour of tiles over and including 20mm thick bedding layering cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified.

20mm thick Granite of Ist quality, table rubbed and polished, in floor set in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite, over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer in cement mortar 1:6, including grinding and polishing, complete all as specified and as directed.

20mm thick Granite of Ist quality, table rubbed and polished as in skirting / dado or vertical surfaces and like set in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite, over and including rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparation of plastered wall surfaces incl necessary racking with wire brushes to remove all loose laitence & washing with clean water, crack filling with acrylic putty as directed on site, wetting the wall surfaces prior to coating and applying 1 primer coat of Dr fixit Primeseal incl crack filling with Dr Fixit Crack 'X' Paste & allow to dry for 4 hours, on internal walls, applying damp proof coating and blend a mixture with water in the ratio 1:1:1(Base: Hardner: Water) & applying 2 coats over the plastered surface in a span of 4 hrs and applying matching decorative finish complete all as specified and directed.

Vitreous china semi-pedestal pattern (Anglo-Indian type) white with P or S trap, connection to trap, and to flushing pipe, antisyphonage pipe, etc. including making good to floor, water closet seat cover, with flat bottom, and mild steel chromium plated or aluminised hinging divice fixed in repair / replacement complete all as specified and directed.

Vitreous China wash down water closet (Pedestal pattern) white with concealed S-Trap/P-trap, 360mm wide, 390mm high and 415 to 445mm long at top including fixing bolt Plastic water closet seat cover white closed pattern with flat bottom and cover and mild steel chromium plated hinging device including connection to drain (or outgoing pipe) and to flushing pipe, antisyphonage pipe fixed in repairs complete all as specified and directed.

Vitreous China wash hand basin white flat back, size 550mm x 400mm, cutting for and pinning in ends of brackets Including waste pipe, brass waste coupling, 32 mm bore chromium plated, brackets, making all connections complete all as specified and directed.

Fixing only PVC flushing tank, syphonic action type, high / low level, valveless, fixed in repair connecting to PVC flush pipe and restoring all connections complete all as specified and directed. (PVC flushing tank will be issued free for fixing only).

Taking down chowkats or frames exc 1.5 sqm and n.exc 4 Sqm each with shutter (without taking off Shutter) complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down shutters of any descriptions, area exceeding 1.00 Sqm but not exceeding 2.00 Sqm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Factory made 35 mm thick, 2nd class hard wood, glazed and skeleton shutters open rebated and prepared to receive glass/ gauge etc (without sash bars), edges of framing plain chamfered or rounded, fitted with cut and mitered beads for securing glass etc for doors, size of members as specified in clause 8.24 (a) of MES Schedule Part-I Section-8, and fitted to chowkats, kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated, complete all as specified and as directed.

Factory made 40mm thick, 2nd class hard wood , plain framed, panelled shutters, (two panel) with lock rail and, panels shall be of 9 mm B.W.P. commercial ply or 12 mm veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces. The size of rail and stile as per IS : 1003 (Part I), kiln seasoned and chemically pressure treated, complete all as specified and as directed.

2nd class hardwood plain, solid straight chowkhats and frames, wrought, framed rebated on the solid, rounded or chamfered, put together with glue pinned at joints complete all as specified and directed.

18-19mm thick pre-laminated particle board, flat pressed single layer type or three layer type with BWR type adhesive, medium density interior grade having one side decorative lamination and other side balancing white lamination as in cup board shutter, shelves etc including 6 mm thick teak wood leaping on three sides and 20mm thich on hanging side & French polishing to edging including taking down old partcle board complete all as specified.

Fiber glass reinforced plastic (FRP) door frames of three legged cross section 90 x 45 mm having single rebate 32 x 15 mm to receive shutter 30 mm thick, laminated door frame moulded with fire retardent grade unsaturated polyster resin and chopped mat. Door frame laminate shall be 2 mm thick and shall be filled with suitable wooden block of 2nd Class hardwood in all the three legs. The frame shall be covered with fibre glass from all sides M.S stay shall be provided at the bottom to secure the frame complete all as specified.

30 mm thick glass fiber reinforced plastics paneled door (FRP) shutter of required colour & approved colour and manufactrures made with fire retardent grade unsaturated polister resin,moulded to 3mm thick FRP laminate for forming hollow rails & styles with wooden frame & suitable blocks of seasoned wood inside at required places for fixing of fittings along with MS tube frame of 19 gauge all around the styles & rails duly coated with steer primer cast monolithically with 5mm thick FRP laminate forpanels & conforming to IS:14856:2000 including fixing to frames and two handles in both sides , 2 Nos Tower Bolts & 3 Hinges each fixtures fixxed in repair complete all as specified and directed. The shade & colour shall be approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

150mm (Size of Handle in mm) Extruded aluminium alloy handles,cast type, anodised complete all as specified.

100mm Butt hinges(Size of hinges in mm), medium weight, cold rolled, stainless steel, complete all as specified.

Safety chain (superior quality) fixed with complete fixtures, fixed in repairs, complete all as Specified and directed .

Magic eye(superior quality), fixed with complete fixtures,including filling and making good hole, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and directed .

Powder coated aluminium section of overall size of outer frame 90mm x 34.5mm x 1.2mm thickness fixing with gasket, beading, star lock also gaps to be filled with weatherproof Silicon Sealant( both sides ) and fixing to opening area incl necessary cleats, brackets, screws bolts, fixed to wall, floor fixed in repair complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer In Charge.

Powder coated aluminium sliding window shutters, aluminium section (40mm (HT) x18mm-20mm (W) x1.2mm thickness aluminium Section for window Shutters) including necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing, anodised aluminium snap beading, screws, anodised aluminium fittings such as peg stays 150 mm long (1 No.) or hinges type B-21 100 mm long (2 nos.), suitable handle or Star lock, (1 no.) gasket, fixing arrangement with Stainless Steel Mesh or Plain glass section fixed in repair complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Glass & Wiremesh shall be paid separately

Taking down and refixing aluminium window shutter to make it slide smoothly, including repair/ replacement of all necessary fittings / fixtures for window like cleats,locking arrangements, glazing cleats, and cadmium plated stainless steel screws including rubber gaskets, beading, etc. complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Anodised aluminium grill (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868 with minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) of approved design / pattern, with approved standard section and fixed to the existing window frame with C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws @ 200 mm centre to centre, including cutting the grill to proper opening size for fixing and operation of handles and fixing approved anodised aluminium standard section around the opening, all complete as per requirement and direction of Engineerin- charge complete all as specified and directed.

Stainless steel wire cloth. 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and fixed with stainless steel wire staples complete all as specified.

4mm thick sheet glass, ordinary quality in square n exc 0.5 sq. m in each pane fixed to aluminium windowcomplete all as specified.

Preparation of new wood and wood based surfaces of any description not other wise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of wooden primer complete all specified and directed.

Taking down shutters of existing steel gate of size 2.5 to 3.5 sqm (each panel), straightning the members as required cutting out unservicable portions welding the loose joints, hinges cleats, MS Plates MS sheet etc as per standard SOP of welding, replacing the rusted portion with same size & shape steel section of same size & providing necessary new cleats and hinges all greasing oiling and aligning complete all as specified and as directed. Note: New Steel section required shall be measured and paid seprately.

Taking down existing steel shutter of size not exc 2.2sqm including frame , straightning the members as required, cutting out unservicable portions welding the loose joints, hinges cleats, MS Plates MS sheet etc as per standard SOP of welding, replacing the rusted portion with same size & shape steel section of same size necessary new cleats and hinges, including cement concrete 1:2:4 as in holdfast for new portion all greasing oiling and aligning complete all as specified and as directed. Note: New Steel section required shall be measured and paid seprately.

Mild steel, plain, black sheet 0.80mm thick in hearths; covering to door shutters; covering to door chowkats (frames) cut to size edges beaded as directed, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to wood or steel members, etc., with plain 40 mm lap joints or welded/ riveted seams including bending, turning up, mitred angles, stopped ends, outlets as required complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-charge.

All as per item no 44 above but refixing steel sheet obtained from dismantling with plain 40 mm lap joints or welded/ riveted seams including bending, turning up, mitred angles, stopped ends, outlets complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in-charge.

150mm Butt hinges(Size of hinges in mm), medium weight, cold rolled, mild steel complete all as specified.

Framed work as in doors/gates/gratings of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering, Doors etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing Fe 410-W (Gde E-250) quality A complete all as specified and as directed.

High tensile galvalume sheets colour coated single skin high rib / multi rib TMP Profile Galvalume sheeting in roof or in cladding having 1000-1020 mm width 28 mm high crest @ maximum 250 mm pitch (centre to centre) and minimum 190mm manufactured out of 0.50 mm TCT (total coated thickness) cold rolled steel, having yield strength 550MPa minimum and wall coated with 25 micron modified polyester paint system applied on Zincalume on top and with back coating on sheet shall be 7-10 micron epoxy paint. The sheet shall be supplied in length maximum upto 6-12 meters long to suit with structural dimensions and fixed with self tapping screws with built in gasket (with bitumen washer) of suitable size machine fixed as per manufacturer instructions and applying adhesive compound to joint overlap of sheets complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of plastered wall surfaces incl necessary racking with wire brushes to remove all loose laitence & washing with clean water, crack filling with acrylic putty as directed on site, wetting the wall surfaces prior to coating and applying 1 primer coat of Dr fixit Primeseal including crack filling with Dr Fixit Crack 'X' Paste & allow to dry for 4 hours, and applying two coats of Dr fixit rain coat undiluted and drying interval of 6 hours after first coat on external walls, applying damp proof coating and blend a mixture with water in the ratio 1:1:1(Base: Hardner: Water) & applying 2 coats of weather proof Acrylic paint over a coat of primer in a span of 4 hrs and applying matching decorative finish complete all as specified and directed.

Preparation of plastered wall surfaces incl necessary taking down, wire brush the surface of wall to remove all the loose laitence & wash with clean water and crack filling as directed on site wet the wall prior to over coating brush apply 1 primer coat of Dr fixit Primeseal incl crack filling with Dr Fixit Crack 'X' Paste & allow to dry for 4 hours, for internal ceiling, apply damp proof coating and Blend a mixture & water in the ratio 1:1:1(Base: Hardner: Water) & brush apply 2 coat over the plastered surface in a span of 4 hrs, over coat of walls with the suitable protective (decorative) coating, and applying two coats white or color wash as matched with existing color complete all as specified and directed. Make : Dr .Fixit, Krishna, Sika ,Chemistik or equivalent model of make approved by GE.

Preparation of new steel surface of any description, over 10cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of Synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of Cement Concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed

50mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in flooring, path etc. incl finishing the top surface with brooming or XPM complete all as specified and as directed.

PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete or as in sub base (75 mm thick) complete all as specified and directed.

25 mm thick factory made hydraulically pressed chequred PCC tiles of size as per site requirement and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge laid over & including cement mortar screed 15mm thick in CM 1:6 and jointed, pointed in CM 1:3 complete all as per directed by engineer-in-charge.

Racking out joints of Tile flooring and pointing with Tile joint sealing powder Fevimate TG (Tile grout) of Pidilite or equivalent make as approved by GE for filling joints of existing tile to prevent leakage / seepage complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Aligning and easing rolling shutters up to 10.00 Sq m area and readjusting the laths, locking curls, tighteining guide channels, greasing, necessary welding to cage flats as required for easy operation complete serviceing for smooth functioning complete all as specified and directed.

20-25mm Thick machine cut Machine polished, straight cut Granite stone strip, up to 40 mm wide , fixed at door bottom in single piece with epoxy polymer tile adhesive , complete all as specified and as directed.

4 mm Thick PVC tile / sheet flooring, coloured marble mosic or matt finish, fixed with adhesive as per manufecturars instructions, including taking down old PVC flooring complete all as specified and as directed

PCC 1:2:4 type B0 using 12.5 graded aggregate as in in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges on junctions of wall and flooring, including form or molding, complete all as specified and as directed.

Racking out joints of PCC tiles laid on roofs and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling tiles of any description or thickness as in roof covering / aprons complete all as specified and directed.

Factory made Plain Cement Concrete tiles (PCC Tiles) 25cm x 25cm x 20mm thick, machine pressed, set and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 over and including screed bed 15mm thick in CM(1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

All as per description of item No. 63.00 here-in-before but except (PCC) Cement Concrete tiles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Reusable PCC tiles obtained from item No. 62.00 here-in-before shall be reused.

NOTES: The sanitary appliances & fittings and solar panels, water tanks and other items shall be refixed to their original position after roof treatement and repair to sunken portions. The cost is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted.
